"Good Software in bad hands"

What do you like best about Focus X?

Customization is the feature that makes Focus ERP suitable for each type of business. We can add as many report formats and filters as we need to handle specific requirements of the business.

Simple to use - It's another great feature as front-end screens are very user-friendly with given restrictions by the super-user.

Multi-company chart of accounts can be used with developed inter-company auto-transaction function which saves a lot of time and asure real-time accounts updation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Focus X?

After-sale service or maintenance is really bad. Whenever we have any issue or bug, we need to raise a ticket to get this resolved which will take several days to be addressed. In certain cases, we need to get developers to fix the issues but it's hectic to get solutions from them.

The Fixed Assets module is the worse I came across till now. It's been over 3 years and we are still struggling to get a flawless patch from focus addressing this module. Even the basic features of this module are not working correctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Focus X?

Nothing special.. very ordinary software. Offers slightly more than Peachtree-type solutions for a much higher price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Focus X?

Not sure if it is a fault with focus or networking, but it stops working in the middle of data entry and will crash for unknown reasons and need to restart. It happens very frequently and is very annoying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Focus X?

The backbone for this application is very good in the accounts, finance and procurement module. it's errorfree software. The hardware requirement is economical. Also, the budget is fit for small and medium enterprises. Many customization options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Focus X?

Medium user friendly in some modules, need to update graphics, worse HRM module. Creating new reports and aligning the print layout consume more time.

No option to terminate the client user from the server, need to close and open the server module application- this leads to disturbing the other working users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Focus X:

I used Focus ERP in Saudi Arabia at multiple groups from October 2010 till November 2021 consists of trading of spare parts, Iphone/smart phones and accesories, travel and tourism, construction, contracting, training & development, media advertising and marketing, assembly plant, fascility management etc. It is easy to implement, set up the flow of documents, customization and preparation of reports. The teams in Saudi Arabia and India are very cooperative and support remotely and on site. The price is lesser than other similar types of systems with enhance support from the team.
