Terrible customer service, no integration with accounting, no training available. **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Paulo S. | Controller, Automotive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2018 **What do you like best about Finance Express DMS?** The processes in Finance express seem to mirror well the processes within a Buy here pay here dealership, however there a simple things like adding extra items to a drop down list is not possible. it is a web based solution which is good. It integrates well with Auction houses, and has a portal for recording payments received. It keeps track of VIT tax and sales tax (Even though I havent been able to reconcile the gross sales with what is on the report) It can also integrate well with Omnique, but omnique has serious limitations. **What do you dislike about Finance Express DMS?** However it is not easy to customize reports, and whenever you contact customer service, there has never been a time I spoke to some and felt this person really helped me. It does not have a simple debits and credits report, and even what they have the system always goes out if you a general ledger with 15 days. if you want a excel report you have to refer to a "Beta Reports" that exclusively tells you to check a box that says that the information may not be correct. when you ask for a quickbooks file I converted the file into excel and there NO Transactions in it. The main purpose of a system to make sure its easier and faster to capture the accounting entries, but Finance offer very little guidance for anybody trying to use it for accounting purposes. you cannot switch to another merchant service provider , because there is no integration with other merchant services, which sucks because you can't get better pricing and continue to be operationally efficient. I have not anyone who has only minor complaints about this software. I really wish they could connect to All Data, which is much better than omnique, and also make it easy for any merchant servives provider to connect. I also wish it had clearer general ledger reports and a manual that explains what its doing with specific transactions. I wish the reports were able to summarize collections and it cant, it only spills out the different transactions but no summary of how much a customer has paid in a report. oh and were trying to integrate online applications from our website into finance express and they can receive a freaking csv file upload, which is like something basic now days. **What problems is Finance Express DMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** well its good for the sales team of a buy here pay herr, because you can upload your sales contracts, and they are stored digitally with them, it works well for the collections team, in tracking customers and gives good intel into the performance of individual.collectors. ### 2.
