# What cloud security monitoring platforms actually cut down the manual checks security teams have to do across multiple cloud services every week?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Hey G2 experts! I’m trying to work out which cloud security monitoring platforms actually cut down the manual checks security teams have to do across multiple cloud services every week. </p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Asking this from a workflow angle. The pattern I keep hearing: someone logs into AWS, then Azure, then GCP, and eyeballs the same settings by hand. It doesn't scale, and that’s exactly where things slip. So across <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/cloud-security-monitoring-and-analytics">Cloud Security Monitoring and Analytics</a> tools, I want to know which ones:</p><ul>
<li>take that recurring work off the plate, </li>
<li>automate the checks, </li>
<li>run across clouds, and </li>
<li>surface only what changed.</li>

Pulls AWS and GCP in via connectors. Compliance runs on a schedule, not manually.</li>

I want to know how much it'd actually take off a team’s plate week to week. &lt;p&gt;The real test is whether the tool can replace the recurring checklist work teams are still doing across those environments.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I’d evaluate that by looking at how much the tool automates after the initial setup. Does it continuously check configurations and compliance controls without someone rerunning scans? Can it detect meaningful changes between checks, group related findings, and route them to the right owner? Does it apply the same policies consistently across clouds, or does each provider still require separate rules and workflows?&lt;/p&gt;
