## Fellow Reviews
  ### 1. I've told so many friends about fellow already

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zach P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

With just a few clicks I was able to integrate it with my zoom! I love that it automatically pulls up notes before a call, and when I write things in fellow it's got the ability to schedule due dates, assign people, keep a to-do list!
Additionally it's so easy to automatically remind people to add to an agenda and cancel a call if we don't have anything set. I use this application every day, every call, every meeting.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

I truly couldn't think of anything that I would change with Fellow beyond that I wish more people used it.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping a running agenda, a to-do list, and templates for meetings all in one space.

  ### 2. Love the meeting recording and summary recap

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessie W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

Love the meeting recording, summary recap, minute marks.
Love that you can include images as well.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

AI summary can be a bit generic. Would be great if it can do some analysis and sentiment.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves me time from having to write recaps.

  ### 3. Great for keeping track of meetings

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

The ability to add talking points to meetings, action items and notes being private or not. Makes meetings have less admin involved and keeps me clear on what I need to mention during a meeting or what I need to do from the meeting.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

The restrictions for free accounts, I'd like to look at meetings from the past but you can only see a certain amount of weeks in the past. I'd also like to explore the ai features but not available as far as I can see.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating talking points, either beforehand so I don't forget or during so I can stay invested in the conversation without forgetting what else I need to mention. The action items are also great as meetings create new tasks for people and being able to add them in the meeting and assign them makes them easy to remember as you get a reminder the next day of what they were. The notes is also useful, as I can make notes while staying in the same window, making me look engaged with the meeting rather than looking at another screen. Private notes is also very helpful so I don't have to share my thoughts with everyone on the call.

  ### 4. Fellow Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Renewables & Environment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

Multiple team member notes in a single location. Ability to organize action items and tag responsible parties.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

Sometimes I find the calendar difficult to navigate when looking for previous meetings.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaborating feedback from multiple parties during meeting allows for effective project management and accountability by team members

  ### 5. Connecting my dots in Fellow makes Projectmanagement smarter

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas N. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

We are a Remote only Company and our Teams are around the world. We use Fellow as "point of truth" by connection and linking to all other relevant sources. Its easy to use! The Data history of appointments in the past and in the automatisation like sending the notes after an vc to all members of the meeting are very helpful functions for our daily business.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

the userexperience of the app isn't a higlight. Could be better.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Projectmanagement is more easy by using fellow. notes, actions and talking points are the basics of each of our VCs

  ### 6. Back to living in Fellow!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

Being able to create action items at the moment, during a meeting, and being able to get back to the meeting notes from the action item in my to-do list.

Update: we had switched to a project management tool that meant I spent less time in Fellow, but also meant I didn't look at my tasks and what I needed to do as often. We have since switched to a different prject management tool that I do not find as useful, and I have gone back to using Fellow to manage my daily tasks. I still love that I can create tasks in the moment and then organize them in my own way after all of my meetings for the day.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

I use fellow to keep track of all of my tasks. It would be great if it had more functionality to manage, such as a timeline view or kanban board, or being able to add notes to the action item that you can expand to see in your My Action Items view. Editing in my My Action Items is a bit finicky sometimes and could be improved.

Update: There have been some improvements in My Action items, but I would still love to see different views or ability to add notes.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meetings can be very fast-paced, and being able to take notes and assign tasks at the moment ensures nothing gets missed. Having a repository of notes gives the team something to look back on if we aren't sure of a decision or what was discussed.

**Official Response from Julia Mutter:**

> Hey there,

Thanks for taking the time to share your insights with us, we love reading them! We're happy to hear that Fellow is helping keep you organized in a fast-paced environment.

For managing action items - there are a few things that may help with this! Check out these tips and let us know what you think:
- Hover your action items and use the clock-shaped icon on the far right-hand side to set a due date
- Head to the "my action items" tab within your home page to get an overview of all action items that have been assigned to you
- From the "my action items" page, you're able to click & hold action items then drag & drop them into various categories! This is an awesome way to set up your work week
- Also from the "my action items" page, you're able to click on the meeting name and get brought straight to the note where that action item came from! This is great for getting additional context, a refresher, or providing comments on this action item if needed
- Use the "action items" tab within a meeting stream to check in on all outstanding action items from that meeting assigned to any meeting participant
- Create an other stream to house a daily or weekly planner to keep any additional tasks organized and in one spot

We hope these tips help you! If you're still looking for additional functionality, I've provided the link for you to submit more detail to our product team so we can can get a really good understanding of what you're looking for to make sure we're getting a full picture. Let us know if we can help with anything else!

  ### 7. Fellow is great!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Capital Markets | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

Fellow has made it really easy for meetings to have a clear agenda, action items to be notes, and notes captured. It is easy to keep track of historical meeting notes over time, and make sure you hit all of the important topics.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

It would be great if Fellow automatically attached to my gmail invites. Sometimes it does, and other times it doesnt. Even if there is no agenda it would be useful to have there to easily access.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fellow is helping me solve the problem of staying on task in meetings. It also helps to ensure every meeting has a clear and acitionable agenda. Overall, it has benefited me and my team.

  ### 8. Great way to stay organized if you have a lot of meetings and takeaways

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

I like that it synchs with my Outlook calendar and automatically creates a space for me to prep agendas, track notes and action items, and share easily with other team members on the call. Most of all, I like that it keeps a running history/thread of prior meetings in that series, so notes from prior discussions are easily accessible. Action items and talking points can be automatically transferred from the last meeting to the new meeting as well if you use automation.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

I don't like that there is not an "Undo" button - allowing me to easily undo accidental deletion. You can only go back to a previously saved version of your note, which doesn't always include the latest notes taken. I've had to recreate the notes manually when that happens.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fellow keeps all of my meeting prep and notes in a single place, instead of some info being in Email, CRM systems, Word docs, etc. Big time saver.

  ### 9. Great Agenda and Task Tracking Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

I'm new to Fellow but so far, love it. It makes creating a sharable agenda easy, with different ways to organize the meeting based on talking points and action items. You can assign action items and a due date and the responsible party will see it in their action items list. I have started adding action items to time I have blocked off on the calendar to keep myself accountable, instead of creating a bunch of to do lists elsewhere. The integration with your calendar and Slack makes it easy to keep on top of your time. You can set up recurring meetings and see them in a stream, which makes it easy to reference back to the last meeting's notes. And saving agenda templates is an awesome feature, too.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

I wish I could see the "carry over" items from the last meeting before committing to adding them to the agenda. It might be user error, but when I do that, it throws off my template.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is keeping all team members accountable with action items assigned to them, and reminds them of upcoming due dates for the action items. It is also keeping me on track with all my to-dos.

  ### 10. Notes taking and sharing made easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Romain B. | Head of Customer Success, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

- Easy to access on desktop and mobile app
- No lag when typing / type as fast as in a word document
- Automatically save / no more lost notes
- Templates pre-populate bullet points / structure notes according to meeting type
- Easy to share notes via multiple channels
- Easy to find past notes
- Easy to allocate tasks to colleagues
- Mark items as discussed
- Mark tasks as completed
- Create short links to external apps
- Meeting streams created automatically from calendar
- Integration with google calendar is brilliant

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

Not specific to Fellow: the integration with Jira, Trello and other project/task management solutions does not really bring value. It is quicker to copy/paste the URL in the notes body to link an external page and add a check box to mark as to do or done.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meeting notes and general notes can be shared in 2 clicks with internal and external parties.
We used to post notes on Slack. But Slack does not allow to allocate tasks and the notes get lost in the conversation history over time.
Fellow saves precious time creating, sharing and finding notes of recent meetings and past meetings.

  ### 11. Excellent management Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Debrah W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

Ease of use and implementation. Meeting notes, actions and objectives integrated to work with colleagues and as an individual. Number of features and great support services.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

Comments linked to an objective can be a bit clunky and often repeat.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Timing meetings
Implementing agenda and talking points prior to the meeting, saving time etc.
Action Points from meetings and adding as an indivdual to organise and prioritise
Measuring progress with Company objectives

  ### 12. Excellent for Collaboration and Follow Through

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicky C. | Director of Continuous Improvement, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

Fellow sets the bar for teammates to show up prepared for the meeting with notes already prepared. When we meet, we stay on task and follow the outline. After the meeting, the team knows their action items and deadlines for completing each task.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

Merging streams is not intuitive. Not sure if it is possible to transfer ownership of notes to a new team leader when the prior team member switches roles.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Follow through on action items keeps our projects moving forward.

  ### 13. integral tool for managers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

easy to use, well integrated into the rest of our productivity tools/stack

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

a bit basic/limited in its functionality

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keep everyone organized and accountable, follow up on previous action items and assign new action items. Keeps internal meetings organized with crowdsourced agendas and talking points.

  ### 14. Fellow makes organization easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

I like that it automatically pops up for meetings ready with the agenda. It's great that it alerts me when a meeting is coming up also. The way that it is integrated with other apps is super helpful. It's super easy to scroll through meetings and put in bullet points right when they come to mind, that way, they're not forgotten and I can bring them up in meetings weeks later. I really do enjoy this application and I use it all day everyday in the workplace.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

No real downside, occassionally have not had a meeting pop up on fellow, but may have been an issue on my end.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization mainly, it keeps me on track of what is upcoming and it also helps me not to forget to address certain action items.

  ### 15. Great tool for organizing meetings

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

- Very structured organization of meeting notes
- Easy to setup and get going
- Sync'ing with the calendar as well as the chrome apps that comes with it
- Templates and predefined actions that help making sure 1:1s are effective

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

- The private note function can still be improved. Right now it is easier to see but there's no private note that you can associate with the meeting/person
- Sometimes the chrome apps doesn't work with Google hangout
- Better setup of recurring meetings with recurring notes

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is hard to keep track of what you are going to talk about in various meetings. Fellow provides a note taking solution so that the notes are pulled up at the exact time that you are having that meeting. It is also helpful to revisit notes in the past and the organization of Fellow makes it realy easy

  ### 16. Game Changer for Meetings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric A. | Vice President of Customer Success, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

This has totally changed how our organization does meetings. We have customized meeting templates, and attendees input their sections prior to the meeting. The Asana integration is huge for us, with Action Items automatically saving as Asana tasks for follow up.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

Having to merge note streams when meeting series get rebooked, but its a small inconvenience.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Standardized meeting formats, keeping accurate record of the meetings, and the new AI notetaker are great.

  ### 17. Can't imagine a world without Fellow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Warren H. | Board Member, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

Fellow has been a literal game changer for me. No more stacks of papers with notes I can't go back to. I live in meetings and Fellow keep all my notes in one place, neatly organized so I can keep up to speed on what's most important.

And they have the best customer support team I've ever experienced.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

There are a few features they lack, like a more efficient way to merge notes into a single stream but other than that it's fantastic.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It organzes all my notes in one central location in a usable manner.

  ### 18. Organized and Traceable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janique C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

I'm able to organize agendas for meetings, especially recurring ones and can go back to it afterwards if I can't remember what was shared/discussed in the meetings. Keeps me organized and I can go in anytime to add items for discussion.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

Sometimes access isn't available. Would like this to be 100% accessible all the time.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recordings are easy and everything is organized and I am able to go back in time to look at what was discussed and shared during the meetings.

  ### 19. Fellow - Useful for Task Management and Discussions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

Fellow is super helpful for taking notes during meetings and and task management

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

Sometimes it does not work well with updates and does not appear for certain meetings, which causes further Calendar issues

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Record keeping of notes and tasks to be completed

  ### 20. Easy for meeting notes and task deadlines

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Debbie M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

I love that unfinished meeting notes can be carried over from week to week. This really helps to ensure we close topics out only when everything is completed. Extremely easy to use. I use it every day to track items to discuss with my direct reports at their next 1:1 meetings.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

Not everyone in my company or team has the app. There are some sharing options, but others do complain sometimes since they don't have the full feature.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are fewer missed tasks because it is easy to track from meeting to meeting, as well as the task feature which provides due dates and reminders.

  ### 21. Fellow has made me a better manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ariel Y. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

I use Fellow daily, especially as I prepare to meet one on one with my staff. Creating a template has made space for everyone's ideas to be heard. My staff appreciate being able to review my notes before we meet and add their own thoughts. The private note features gives me a place to store my own thoughts.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

I do find that the calendar doesn't always sync perfectly. It's been thinking it's February for seven months now... easy enough fix that it doesn't disturb my work but it doe sseem strange.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've used Fellow to create a template that structures my supervisory meetings in a psychologically safe way. I open with free text space where my staff can dive in early and save non-urgent questions for our meeting instead of messaging me every question as they emerge. Second, I use space for accollades, what I'm impresed by in their last week's work, and then what I think we could do "even better yet". We end with goals and reviewing progress on past coaching points.

  ### 22. Elevating Meeting Efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** G M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

Fellow immediately impressed me with its sleek and intuitive interface. App navigation is simple and doesn’t take long to get the hang of.

Cross platform compatibility is top notch. I can edit/review my notes with full feature capability on my mobile devices.

Finally, the templates are outstanding. They allow me to structure repetitive meetings in a way that makes sense, and have consistent data come back from clients.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

I don't have a lot to say about Fellow that makes me dislike it. Sadly, my new company doesn't pay for fellow and with no way to have an individual account that doesn't lose meeting notes after 45 days, I've resiged to loading a template, taking my notes in Fellow during meetings, and transferring those notes to hubspot following the meeting, to keep long term records.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meeting collaboration: My team can observe and contribute to the notes from previous meetings. They can also preemptively contribute thoughts and ideas, before a meeting begins from the calendar invitation link.

  ### 23. Great for team agendas and personal task management!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

I really enjoy the user experience and how well it facilitates team agenda setting. Additionally, it's a great tool for my personal task management and prioritization.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

I honestly haven't experienced any downsides to this application.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fellow helps us keep agendas, tasks, and projects in one place. It's easy to scroll back in meeting agendas to find topics discussed or assigned tasks, so you never feel like you're missing something.

  ### 24. Fellow is amazing!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrian H. | Director of client success, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

appreciate how Fellow enables seamless linking of meeting notes. Their team stands out for being approachable, supportive, and quick to respond. I rely on Fellow for all my meetings, and introducing it across our entire organization was incredibly straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

I think that the AI notes could be more detailed. I have worked with other AI notetakers and they provide more through notes.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking notes from meeting to meeting and one platform to update meeting agendas.

  ### 25. Makes meetings easier and more efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

Fellow has made our weekly stand-up meetings more efficient. It's easy to track the agenda to see what everyone is working on. Even if someone is unable to attend the meeting, they can keep others fully updated by entering details of their work and progress in Fellow.

Fellow uses smart technology in that it's able to recall past meeting agendas from the same meeting/between the same group of people. If we didn't get to cover all the agenda items in a previous meeting, Fellow reminds us and asks whether we want to take it forward and cover it in a subsequent meeting.

Additionally, Fellow enables meeting actions to be recorded and assigned to a specific person, which drives accountability and results.

Finally, it was easy to adopt/implement Fellow. It integrates into other tools e.g. calendar and through the app, it prompts you to attend upcoming meetings - this enables people to stay on top of their calendar/meetings.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

I'm very pleased with Fellow and it has been a gamechanger since we adopted it, so I have nothing further to addd. I don't dislike anything about it.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enables out meetings to be more efficient and for us to keep track of actions.

  ### 26. Very useful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Outsourcing/Offshoring | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

The best use case in my workplace is that we can type notes, assign tasks and have talking points using the chrome ext whithin our google meetings.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

Fellow should implement AI for meetings scheduled.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It greatly benefits internal communication.

  ### 27. Great note aid

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

The organization of 1x1s and notes all in one place with ability to send or apply diff features

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

Sometimes my templates don't stay on a cadence

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Note organization, ensuring a similar experience for entire team. Helps with documentation

  ### 28. Awesome way to Manage tasks from and for meetings or group projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trina B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

I love that I can create tasks in any meeting or stream and it'll show up in my tasks list. I can assign tasks to people and get alerted when they've made updates.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

I don't love how the images sit within the pages. It makes sense how it functions but as a program manager who takes a lot of screenshots, sometimes it's nice to be able to have the images with the tasks and notes.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's great for tracking tasks and notes from meetings and keeping everyone involved up to date.

  ### 29. Tasks Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

Good UI/UX for navigation and usage of features

Clarity in the of the features

For the purpose of task management, this is great and I'm been using it frequently every day

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

None so far as I've only use for task management, creating bullet points and checklist for progress tracking

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have difficult time structuring discussion point and meetings notes in meeting. With Fellow this is achievable easily and I'm able to easily refer to what I wrote in previous meetings

  ### 30. Streamlined Workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

Fellow has cut down drastically on my tab switching and doc opening by keeping everything in one organized, easily searchable place. Since I'm in and out of meetings most of the day, this has been a game-changer!

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

No complaints! While it's taken a some time to get the full team switched over into Fellow, the transition has still been smooth compared to other tool adoptions we've been through. We're now in the process of transitioning external partners into Fellow as well.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fellow has cut down on the number of agenda documents I used to keep starred or bookmarked. Now, everything is in one place, and I'm not spending time jumping from agenda to agenda on an hourly basis. This makes things easier for the full team and for new team members so they don't have to track down a bunch of google docs floating around in our drive.

  ### 31. Enabling our organization to be more prepared

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

I love how easy Fellow is to use and how it encourages our team to be prepared for meetings and helps them run much more efficiently. I also really like having an accessable archive of meetings in a workstream. It makes it really easy to refer back to a topic or action item from weeks back that needs follow up.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

The desktop application is perhaps over engineered. There are a lot of menus to utlize and many paths to just one destination. I have difficulty with the menu on the left popping in and out and balancing that with what is on the main screen

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is requiring me and my colleagues to plan for discussion ahead of time, which ultimately saves us a ton of time in meetings. It encourages us to be efficient and organized

  ### 32. Handy note taking tool!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

It's very easy to use and I like that it is also a collaborative notetaking tool. I use this daily for internal and external meetings. It has some great features (love being able to tag other people into notes and the meeting templates) and overall very useful. The search features is also great when I can't remember what meeting a certain topic was discussed in, so I can search my notes for the keywords to know who was in the meeting and when.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

Like some tools, it's maybe only as good as other people also use it. So some of the collaborative aspects are nice but not everyone on my team uses Fellow regularly like I do, so it can be less collaborative and just a better way of personal notetaking for myself.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Staying organized and on top of different meetings. Keeping a log of topics discussed so I can follow-up as needed.

**Official Response from Emily Truax:**

> Hey there,

Emily here from the Fellow Support team 👋 Thank you for taking the time to share you feedback, we appreciate it! That's great to hear you've been enjoying tagging, that's one of my favourite features for tracking #wins and #decisions. Thank you for mentioning some of your teammates are less active in their accounts, making things less collaborative than you would like. We understand that adopting a new tool can be tricky, and we'd love the opportunity to help your team get the hang of things and use Fellow to make their day easier. Please feel free to let them know to chat into support@fellow.co or use the blue bubble in the bottom right of their screen anytime - we're happy to help and provide resources.

Thank you again!

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

Keeps me and fellow colleages organized to most efficiently leverage time on our meetings. I use fellow daily and always check notes at the start of every day before diving into meetings. Additionally, pre-populating topics in fellow via the app throughout the week ensures I come prepared to every meeting and I love the fellow integration to google meet which makes following the agenda and taking notes directly within the google meet easy to do!

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

Fellow is nothing but helpful in my role as a Sales Coach managaing a team and pipeline for 8 AEs!

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Shared notes and continuity week over week for recurring meetings. Nothing gets lost and follow-ups carry through.

  ### 34. Fellow is great

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesus M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

I love the daily planner to keep my work tasks and meetings organized, which increases productivity, I also like the fact that I can miss a meeting and see the recording later.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

Sometimes it feels that there are too many functionalities that do the same thing, for me simpler is better.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our case, we use it mostly for daily updates meetings, and we post our perception about the work we are doing in the current sprint, that keeps us engaged with accomplishing our sprint goals.

I also use the daily planner a lot to organize my tasks and be productive.

  ### 35. Those who use Fellow end up having better meetings and being more productive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

For general meetings, I am able to set the agenda ahead and everone sees it like in the plugin with meet so it is easy to colab on the go. For one on ones, this let's me slack my reports and my manager less. Anything none urgent, I just add to Fellow to then talk through in the one on one. I dont miss anything but my days are less reactive.

Also, since they started, they always make sure to improve. Performance used to be the biggest drawback and it is no longer

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

I am good right now. Anything I disliked, they improved

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I dont have dispearsed places for agendas. It is too much friction, it involves "agreeing on what to use". Removing this friction means everyone useses it which meams it makes work more productive.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

There are minimal downsides to be frank, there are a few limitations in terms of features or different views but the easy integrations with other tools make it almost unnoticeable.

I enjoy using Fellow to prepare for and conduct meetings with all of my cross functional collaborators. It helps me stay alligned on my action items, and recall discussions all the time.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

It would be nice if it had built in kanban board like features for organizing your sction items instead of them being linear by due date.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fellow provides structure and easy written collaboration for my meetings.

  ### 38. Forever changed by Fellow!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

Fellow has been incredibly helpful when it comes to prepping my meetings and taking notes during them. I always know where I can find and reference my meeting notes by using Fellow. The templates are a huge time saver. The fact that everyone in the meeting can have access to the Fellow notes is incredibly effective. I use Fellow every day.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

The search engine could be stronger! It can be hard to find meetings, even when typing in key words of the meeting (ie. company name, contact name).

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I no longer have to use google docs or notes apps for my meetings. Everything is organized in Fellow and easily traceable.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

Talking points are only pulled from the previous meeting in a series, and not from any older meetings. It would have been nice if all talking points are compiled without having to go back to old meetings to carry them forward 1 meeting at a time, especially when streams are merged.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to take notes seamlessly, and integrates with Asana

  ### 42. Gamechanger for Our Meeting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

Fellow has been an amazing addition to our meetings. The structure provided to make sure everyone enters a meeting on the same page, that we follow the agenda, and that our takeaways and actions items our recorded and assigned has been a big help. Implementation and use was super easy for all of our staff and the integration to Clickup and Hubspot have been great.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

Would love if it also had an AI note taker that could join our zoom meetings alongside our physical note taking.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The structure provided to make sure everyone enters a meeting on the same page, that we follow the agenda, and that our takeaways and actions items our recorded and assigned has been a big help.

There have been a few challenges for users in my organization having trouble viewing their meetings, which have taken a while to resolve.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Staying organized ahead of and after meetings, assigning follow up tasks, standardizing meeting agendas, setting templates for recurring meetings like interviews.

  ### 44. Great for Notes and Action items

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

Allows for template creation and easily sharing notes both intenrally and externally

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

Nothing this product is very easy to use

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping meeting notes intact and also sharing notes with team members

  ### 45. Fellow helps you keep track of internal meeting notes

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

1. Helps me keep track of internal meeting notes
2. Seamless integration with Zoom & Calendar
3. Simple UI/UX
4. Unresolved talking points are pulled over automatically to the next meeting.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

1. Better structure on notes. (The way that checklist and bullets work together)
2. Linear integration needs to be two-way, if not I can't really use it.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing internal meeting notes. Before Fellow, I used Notion. However, Fellow has nice integration with Zoom & Calendar that makes it much easier to keep track of internal meeting notes.

**Official Response from Emily Truax:**

> Thank you for your support, we appreciate it! It's great to hear you and your team are enjoying using Fellow in your calendar and Zoom to manage your meeting notes and tasks 😊 We'd love to hear more about what would work better for you in regards to structuring your notes with bullets and action items. ### 46. Fellow is great for organizing talking points and notes.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

Integration with Google Meet, assigning action items, and creating notes

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

How people use it. People tend to add notes as talking points in the defualt template which are never checked off. Action items don't have clear reminders and can easily get lost. The AI features are cool, but their accuracy, especially around action items is low.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can summarize meetings, as well as allow us to mange and share adgenedas and notes. The AI action items feature is very hit or miss and needs additional tuning. Overally my experience has been good but the UX can sometimes be confusing and cause some things to get lost withing the application such as action items

  ### 47. Incredible tool to improve productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

It is very easy to use, and it helps you effectively organize meetings and projects, and define responsibilities on the spot. Also, it has frequent updates, and it is automatically added to Teams.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

It is a bit difficult to add photographs and set a previously written text as a talking point or action item.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The organization in all the meetings we have, as well as in the events: it helps us define what we will talk about beforehand and take notes during the discussion, as well as assign tasks to each of the participants and deadlines. It definitely helps us consider all the tasks necessary to achieve our objectives.

  ### 48. Meeting Software with Great UX

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

I have been primarily using Fellow for the 1-1. I really like how Fellow helps to organize the 1-1 with group, favourites and incorporate the ToDo (Action items) and Notepad. It just feel fit right in place when you have all the 1-1 meetings scheduled in MS Teams. The integration of Fellow with Outlook/Teams made the shift of using Fellow as a no-brainer.

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

I noticed the timing of daily notification is with the wrong timezone even though I have specified it in my settings. It's a bit annoying but not really a big deal.

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fellow helps

* Keeping the one on one intact with talking points
* Building up the habit to lay out the agenda before the meeting
* Convenience of reviewing what's been discussed in the past and action items that are overdue

The ease of use reduces the mental load of using the software, and slowly building up the safety environment where participants in 1-1 to speak up the mind.

  ### 49. easy to use + saves everyone time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Fellow?**

more than absolutely anything, it makes meeting more effective. we require a fellow agenda for all meetings — it sets expectations for what will be discussed, helps people prepare, helps the call stay focused, encourages transparency, and the note taking and action items function help you hold yourself and your coworkers accountable.

+ the actual UI for typing notes is so intuitive compared to any word processor
+ quick and painless to set up with corporate gmail accounts + google meet
+ i like that i can use the desktop app in downtime or the widget within meetings
+ it's a great medium for internal conversations and reminders during b2b calls

**What do you dislike about Fellow?**

there may already be a way to do this that i'm not familiar with, but it'd be nice to be able to more easily share notes with people outside your organization

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it saves everybody time by keeping meetings focused and actionable, encouraging more accountability and freeing up time that allows us to get other work done

  ### 50. Makes it easier to discuss the project & share the minutes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

Nothing as such but yeah sharing attachments can get better

**What problems is Fellow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No separate work required for minutes of the meetings!
