My favorite aspect of Everlaw is how easy it is to use. The UI is extremely intuitive; its tagging/coding feature is extremely easy because of its autosaving feature and ability to code documents as a group. Its flexibility across the variety of needs in projects is another big plus, because it means that you aren't stuck creating workarounds that will make the most sense for your project--you can just change it out to what works best for you. I think that the AI features for grouping are helpful to create assignments for team members so that they are able to consistently code documents without having to swap between a large variety of contexts. Finally, Everlaw's breadth of training materials has been extremely helpful in getting me started using the platform. The system for searching, creating binders, and the general UI and organization of the home/landing page are probably my least favorite part of Everlaw. Recently, I've also come to appreciate Deep Dive, being able to ask plain-language questions across an entire document corpus and get citation-backed answers has cut down significantly on manual review time, especially early in a case or when getting up to speed on a new production. And on the transcript side, the page-line citation linking has been a great time-saver, typing a citation and having it jump straight to the exact spot in the transcript makes prepping depositions and cite-checking testimony much faster and more reliable. Everlaw is one of the strongest modern eDiscovery platforms, especially for teams that prioritize usability and AI-powered workflows. Everlaw has a much cleaner and more modern interface than most eDiscovery platforms, which definitely makes document review and collaboration easier. The AI tools are also genuinely useful for summarizing documents and speeding up review workflows instead of feeling like gimmicks. That said, some of the more advanced workflows can still be confusing, especially around productions, tagging, and large-scale case management. The platform is fast overall, but I’ve noticed occasional lag when working with very large datasets or bulk actions. Everlaw strikes a strong balance between high-end power and a very human-friendly interface. Searches are logic-based and color-coded, which makes it easier to build and refine queries. Beyond simply finding documents, Everlaw also provides the right platform for organizing and using what you find. I can quickly review the documents, tag them, flag them, and organize them into different folders, similar to using a desktop. This allows me to streamline our efforts and creates much greater efficiency when reviewing documents while keeping our whole team on the same page. I am able to categorize my data as it comes in from clients, and quickly combine the different pieces for production. Being able to have documents tagged and organized in folders allows me to keep working efficiently. The tool allows me to do this efficiently with just one click. I don't like the way Everlaw handles emails and their attachments. It's difficult to make sure they're produced together while keeping my filters in place, like dates and title order. Also, if a document is attached to an email and I want to segregate it, I have to do that manually and upload them individually. There's no way to do it within Everlaw. I find Everlaw's interface to be very clean and seamlessly navigable, which I really appreciate. The translation tool is excellent and very easy to access and use, allowing me to review foreign language documents accurately. I'd like to be able to zoom in or out the coding panel, making it adjustable to the size of the computer screen. I like how Everlaw allows me to navigate through complex legal documents and highlights what I'm looking for in an efficient manner. I appreciate how it separates viewing a document from the main menu, so I can easily go back and forth and see how many documents I have reviewed without leaving the menu window, which provides flexibility. There should be a feature that alerts me if I forget to completely tag each document. When I review the document, I have to mark off different buttons showing I have completed the document, and it allows me to move to other documents without alerting me that I need to complete it.
