"Everlaw Streamlines Document Review with Powerful Search and Collaboration"
5/5
What do you like best about Everlaw?

I have used Everlaw extensively on litigation matters involving large document collections, complex productions, and privilege review. What I appreciate most is the platform’s ability to keep the entire review process streamlined within a single environment. Its search capabilities are both powerful and intuitive, which helps me quickly locate responsive documents across large datasets. I also rely heavily on Everlaw’s coding, tagging, batching, and redaction tools, as they meaningfully improve efficiency and help maintain consistency throughout review projects.

The production workflow is another major advantage. Being able to organize documents, apply endorsements, run quality control, and prepare productions all within the same platform reduces administrative burden and helps minimize the risk of errors. Everlaw’s interface is user-friendly as well, which makes it easier to train team members and collaborate with attorneys on active matters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Everlaw?

Everlaw is a strong platform overall; however, there are still clear opportunities for improvement. Some advanced features are not always intuitive to find, and certain review or production workflows take several steps to complete. With large datasets, performance can occasionally be impacted, and additional integrations with commonly used legal technology platforms would further enhance efficiency. While the analytics and AI tools are valuable, more user guidance and training resources would help users fully maximize their benefits. I would also really appreciate the ability to sort documents within the binder by “produced to.” That would make it much easier to make revisions for missed redactions, removed redactions, and similar issues if they are inadvertently overlooked during the initial production run. "Everlaw’s Deep Dive AI Saves Time and Surfaces Key Document Patterns"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Everlaw?

Everlaw is extremely responsive and intuitive. It is feature rich without being overly complex. The deep dive feature is incredibly useful when working on creating deposition scripts by beginning with broad concepts and gradually narrowing down by filtering through the documents that the deep dive feature surfaces. It also saves a tremendous amount of time by allowing me to discover patterns in the discovery documents by surfacing relevant documents or by linking documents together based on broad inquiries. The Deep Dive feature is an excellent and genuinely useful implementation of artificial intelligence. It doesn't replace human thinking; instead, it helps avoid tedious searching while allowing the attorney to connect documents using their own knowledge of the case and the existing claims. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Everlaw?

At this point, there is nothing significant I dislike about Everlaw. I wish there was more organization for the binders; subfolders or other categorization could be a useful method for grouping related documents beyond putting them into just binders. I also would enjoy some sort of limited offline mode. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly UI, Fast Processing, and Brilliant AI in Everlaw - Sam Maguire"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Everlaw?

The UI is much more user friendly than other eDisclosure platforms which means legal teams are much happier when using it. I like the processing speeds which you get in Everlaw which means uploading large data sets is as pain free as possible and also the certifications that you can take really help to make you feel comfortable on the platform. Intergration is geting much better as well with the advent of Claude connectors, and the AI offering is now brilliant and we are noting clients loving AI. Being a partner we can not offer good rates for clients but still sometimes hear platforms like relativity are cheaper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Everlaw?

Very little to be honest, sometimes updates are made unneccesarily I think which cause minor confusions i.e. the moving of buttons to different places otherwise really not much else. Actually, setting up coding layouts and that being a database/project admin meaning you don't get automatic access to all coding layouts on the platform is absurd, must change Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"EverLaw Is Fast, Smooth, and Refreshingly Uncluttered"
4/5
What do you like best about Everlaw?

EverLaw seems very responsive; when I click or select an item, the response is immediate and smooth. I also like that the screen is not cluttered with 2 dozen icons that I will never use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Everlaw?

Perhaps this is a feature I have not learned yet, but I don't see a way to assign a code to a batch of related documents. Instead, I have to go through them one at a time. Additionally, it would save additional time if I could just click once and assign the same code (usually not relevant) to a document I just reviewed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Everlaw’s User-Friendly UI Makes Tagging and Workflow Optimization Easy"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Everlaw?

I find Everlaw’s UI very user-friendly and fairly easy to pick up, even if you’re not already familiar with the platform. Tagging documents feels intuitive, and it’s simple to find tips or information when you have a question or want to optimize your workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Everlaw?

Without any training or tips, searching can feel less than intuitive, and it isn’t always clear how some functions (for example, binders) are meant to be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Everlaw Makes Document Review Fast, Easy, and Confidence-Boosting"
5/5
What do you like best about Everlaw?

It feels like the creators of Everlaw thought of everything. Everlaw makes reviewing, analyzing, and organizing documents incredibly easy. I am reviewing documents more quickly and efficiently than I would without Everlaw, and I feel more confident in my review. Everlaw support has been incredibly helpful so far, too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Everlaw?

Everlaw has so many features to get used to that the learning curve is fairly steep, but ultimately I'm happy that it has the capabilities it has, and I'm willing to spend time learning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly with Room for AI Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about Everlaw?

I find Everlaw user-friendly, especially compared to other document management and e-discovery tools. Navigating it is generally quite easy, and I find the tools intuitive, which is helpful for managing large cases. The deep dive tool, which is an AI functionality, is useful along with the other AI tools like coding suggestions. The initial setup was very easy, and the team was helpful. I also appreciate how the program assists with managing documents on both small and large files, tagging for relevance and privilege. Overall, I think Everlaw is a very good tool, and I'd rate it an eight out of ten. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Everlaw?

I feel like the AI tools in Everlaw, like the coding suggestions, nonetheless need improvement. They do work, but compared to other legal AI solutions we use, such as Harvey, they seem a bit behind. It feels like they don't perform as well as they could. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Significant Upgrade Over Alternatives, Fast and Efficient"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Everlaw?

I like Everlaw's search feature, data analysis capabilities, and the speed of processing. It helps me locate specific data files and add various search parameters to find files and cull data efficiently. Additionally, setting up Everlaw was easy and fast, enabling me to quickly obtain login credentials and access the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Everlaw?

The visualization and organization of saved searches in Everlaw could be better. It would be helpful to have a navigation panel of saved searches that can be organized into more specific categories and subfolders. This is something I've seen on other platforms that makes managing searches more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Outstanding document review and discovery tool."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Everlaw?

We are in the process of testing out AI that purports to have the ability to work across various platforms, including Everlaw. We are optimistic that these processes will support many aspects of our firm workload from drafting pleadings by citing (and coding) evidence in support to deposition and trial preparation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Everlaw?

A tool that allows the user to have control over the specific production order of documents not just by general categories / codes. I have had to get creative in and out of Everlaw to control the production order. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ease of Review with powerful tools and story builder AND AI workflow including Deep Dive"
5/5
What do you like best about Everlaw?

Since Everlaw updates their software monthly and assists users with allowing them to provide user input into new modifications or new additions to everlaw. This is very helpful and useful as it takes knowledge mananagment (tacit or explicit knowledge) and allows Everlaw to use that to improve their product to help the end user in what ever portion of the eDiscovery platform they are using in Everlaw, be it storybuilder, or productions, or even legal hold. In addition the new AI improvements have been great, from their new product Deep Dive, Deep Dive transcripts, suggestive coding and Everlaw Assistant, the accuracy of these results has greatly improved and assisted with identifying important documents or relevant documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Everlaw?

in the outline there is no ability to transfer all the documents over at once. Also visualizer needs to have better hit results for over 1000. I would suggest a feature that would allow a user to see all the hits and possibly check them off. The depth still needs to be revisited.

I would also have search features for the "produce to" field since at the moment your not able to filter that column. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Emma Johnson of Everlaw

Hello,

Thank you for leaving us a review! You may find the ability to batch add documents to a Draft or Deposition in Storybuilder as a useful tool. After finding the documents you need, selecting the Batch icon will display a panel of actions you may take; at the bottom is a Storybuilder-specific section that allows you to transfer many documents into one Draft or Deposition together. If you have any questions or would like us to walk you through this, please contact support@everlaw.com.

Kind Regards,

Emma Johnson
