EQuIS enterprise has some basic functions to upload and retrieve data for ordinary users. Overall, EQuIS is an ideal standalone tool for data management and reporting **What do you dislike about EQuIS?** The user interface for EQuIS professionals is so basic that it is like comparing analog to digital. When compared to other online platforms like LOCUS, EQuIS enterprise and professional has a lot of work to do in improving their UI. There are limited options for plugins that restrict its connectivity with other software. The customizability of EDDs is so narrow that the users have to review too many filed to upload their required data. **What problems is EQuIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are managing and reporting environmental data and metadata, and the reporting module worked exceptionally well which helped us reduce our efforts. ### 4. This software also has a lot of good features that are great for someone who isn't looking for a huge, cumbersome program with so many bells and whistles that it becomes overwhelming. If you're simply looking for data analysis and some very straightforward tools to enter data and generate reports and charts, this is the one to use. **What do you dislike about EQuIS?** Throughout my use I had noticed some glitches in the software which could be partly the fault of my desktop computer's system. I also found that some of the errors retrieved when the data was run through EDP and when uploading the data for submittal weren't easy to solve. It required contacting Earthsoft's Support. In some cases, Support was very helpful but in others the Support representative was either confused the problem or simply never responded to our emails. **Recommendations to others considering EQuIS:** This software would be good for anyone who is looking for something simple and straightforward to help with data entry, analysis, and presentation. **What problems is EQuIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** EQuiS' software has helped us gather all our data to make it easy to analyze, present, and submit to regulatory agencies.
