"EngageBay Makes Customer Communication and Contact History Easy to Manage"
4.5/5
What do you like best about EngageBay?

I use EngageBay to handle customer communication and track tasks that need attention. I like that I can view a contact’s full history without digging through emails or separate documents. It’s easy to review past conversations, add notes, and continue with my work quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EngageBay?

There are more features than I need for my day-to-day work, so it took me some time to figure out which areas were the most useful for me. A few of the less-used settings could also be easier to find and navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"EngageBay Makes Managing Multiple Customer Conversations Easy"
4.5/5
What do you like best about EngageBay?

EngageBay is helpful when I have several customer conversations happening at the same time. I can check a contact’s activity before replying and quickly see what was discussed previously, which saves me time and helps me avoid asking for information I already had. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EngageBay?

Some of the menus and settings weren’t immediately obvious to me. I had to spend a little time exploring the platform before I felt comfortable using it regularly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"EngageBay Streamlined Our Sales Pipeline with Smart Lead Scoring and Automation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about EngageBay?

What I like most about EngageBay is how much easier it has made managing my sales pipeline. Before using it, I was juggling leads between spreadsheets and emails, and it was easy to miss follow-ups. Now everything is in one place, so I always know where a lead stands.

The lead scoring feature has been one of the most useful parts for me. It helps me quickly identify which prospects are more engaged, so I can spend my time on the leads that are actually worth following up with first. I also use the sales automation features to automatically assign leads, create follow-ups tasks, and send reminders. These are simple automations, but they've saved me a lot of manual work and helped me stay consistent.

The interface is clean and easy to navigate, so I didn't have to spend much time figuring things out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EngageBay?

Overall, my experience has been positive. If I had to point out one area of improvement, I'd say the reporting section could offer a few more customization options. The standard reports are useful but sometimes, I want to create more specific sales reports without spending extra time filtering the data. Some of the advanced automation settings also take a little exploring before you find exactly what you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"EngageBay’s 360-Degree Contact View and Workflow Automation Keep Me Organized"
4.5/5
What do you like best about EngageBay?

I have been using EngageBay for a while now to manage leads, customer communication and follow-ups. The two features I rely on the most are the workflow automation and the 360-degree contact view. They've made my daily work much more organized.

The 360-degree contact view is probably the feature I open most often. Before I call or email a customer, I can quickly see previous conversations, notes, tasks, deals, email activity and reminders in one place. I don't have to switch between different screens or try to remember what happend last. Having everything together makes customer conversations much smoother.

Workflow automation has also been a big help. I use it to assign new leads, send follow-ups emails, create tasks, and update deal stages automatically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EngageBay?

I'd like to see more flexibility in the workflow builder for advanced automation scenarios. A small improvement in loading speed for contacts with large activity history would also make the experience even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"EngageBay Keeps Customer Communication Organized and Easy to Manage"
4.5/5

EngageBay makes it easier for me to keep customer communication organized in one place. I can check previous interactions, add notes, and set follow-ups without having to search through different tools. It’s especially helpful when I’m handling several contacts at the same time. What do you dislike about EngageBay?

The interface has quite a few options, so it can take a little time to understand where everything is. Once I got familiar with the main features I use, it became much easier to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple CRM that helps me stay on top of my sales pipeline"
4.5/5
What do you like best about EngageBay?

I've been using EngageBay for my business, and it has become the place where I manage almost all of my leads. The deal pipeline is probably the feature I use the most. Whenever I finish a call or get a reply to an email. I usually move the deal to the next stage straight away. It keeps me organized and I always know who needs a follow-up.

I also like how everything about a contact is available in one place. Before speaking to someone, I can quickly check previous emails, notes and activities instead of searching through my inbox. That has made my follow-ups much more consistent because I don't have to rely on memory.

The email tracking has been useful as well. I don't base every decision on opens or clicks, but it's helpful to know whether someone has seen my email before I reach out again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EngageBay?

The initial setup took me a little time. I wanted my pipeline to match the way I work, so I spent a couple of days adjusting stages and exploring different settings. After that, I didn't have to make any changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Contact Management That Keeps Everything Organized and Easy to Find"
4.5/5
What do you like best about EngageBay?

The features I use most is contact management. I have customers, suppliers, and new inquiries coming in regularly, so having everything in one place has made our day -to- day work much easier. I use lists to organize contacts based on different requirements, and being able to add notes after calls helps us keep track of conversations without relying on separate documents. Searching for a contact or checking previous interactions is quick, which has saved me a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EngageBay?

The filtering options cover most of what we need, although creating more detailed segments can sometimes take a few extra clicks. It would be nice if complex filters were a little more intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One, Affordable CRM and Automation That Streamlines Our Lead Gen"
4/5
What do you like best about EngageBay?

I’ve been using EngageBay for around 10 months at NovaTech Digital Solutions, and what I love most is how it bundles CRM, marketing automation and email campaigns all in one affordable package, perfect for our small 11–50 person SaaS team. We don’t have the budget to stack separate tools for CRM, email marketing and landing page builders, so having everything under one roof saves us a ton of time and extra subscription costs every month.

A real example I dealt with a few months back: we were running a lead gen campaign for our new SaaS onboarding tool. Previously, we used three different platforms. We captured leads on a landing page, manually copied contact info into our CRM, then set up separate email nurture sequences elsewhere. It was messy, and we often missed follow-ups or duplicated contacts. With EngageBay, I built the landing page directly inside the tool, set up form submissions to auto-populate new leads into our CRM contacts list instantly. I then created an automated workflow that sends a welcome email right after sign-up, followed by a case study email three days later, and a soft outreach task assigned to our sales team if the lead opens two or more emails.

This cut down our manual data entry work by hours every week. Before, I’d spend nearly four hours every Monday cleaning up contact lists and mapping lead data across different tools. Now that work almost disappears. The lead scoring feature also helps our small sales team focus on people that are genuinely interested. We set simple scoring rules: points for downloading our whitepaper, visiting our pricing page, or opening our demo invite emails. Our sales folks no longer waste time chasing low-quality cold leads.

Another thing I really appreciate is how straightforward the automation builder is. I’m a marketing specialist, not a developer. I can tweak workflows without asking our dev team for help. Last quarter, I quickly adjusted our customer lifecycle sequence for existing trial users, adding a reminder SMS alert before their trial expires. That small change helped us push up trial-to-paid conversions a little, which was a nice win for our team.

The only small downsides are occasional slow load times when we pull big contact reports, but it never stops our core marketing work. For a small software company trying to run end-to-end customer campaigns without overspending, EngageBay hits exactly what we need. It keeps our lead and customer data synced, simplifies our day-to-day campaign operations, and lets our lean team do much more with limited resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EngageBay?

The biggest pain point is its bulk CSV import function. Back in July, I tried uploading a cleaned list of 1,200 past webinar leads we collected. The import ran, but it threw vague error messages without telling me exactly which rows or columns broke the process. I spent hours hunting for bad entries one by one. Even after I fixed formatting issues, some contacts still duplicated in our CRM automatically, forcing me to manually merge dozens of records afterwards. It would save so much time if the tool highlighted problematic rows upfront instead of failing silently.

I also find the reporting module pretty rigid. As a marketing specialist, I need custom dashboards to track our nurture campaign performance and customer lifecycle metrics. The pre-built reports only cover basic stats like email open rates. When I wanted to build a report showing lead score changes tied to our landing page form submissions, I couldn’t combine those two data points easily. I ended up exporting raw data to Excel every week to build the charts our leadership team needs, which adds extra manual work to my schedule.

The email template editor has small but annoying bugs too. Sometimes when I save a responsive template and preview it on mobile, text blocks shift out of alignment. I’ll fix it, hit save, and the layout breaks again the next time I open it. I’ve had to rebuild a couple of templates from scratch because of this. Customer support response can also be slow on complex technical tickets. When I reached out about the import duplication issue, it took over two business days to get a reply, which held up our lead campaign timeline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"EngageBay Keeps Customer Conversations Organized and Consistent"
5/5
What do you like best about EngageBay?

I’ve been using EngageBay for a while, and what stands out to me is how much easier it’s become to keep everything organized. I like being able to look back at previous conversations and notes before reaching out to a customer. It saves me from starting from scratch every time and helps me stay consistent throughout the day. I also don’t find myself switching between different tools as much as I used to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EngageBay?

The platform offers a lot of features, and I didn’t need all of them when I first started. It took a little time to figure out which ones fit my daily work, but once I got comfortable with it, the experience became much smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"EngageBay Keeps My Work Structured and Organized Every Day"
4.5/5
What do you like best about EngageBay?

I use EngageBay almost every day, and one thing I’ve noticed is that it’s made my work feel much more structured. Instead of keeping reminders in different places, I can open the platform and get a clear picture of what I need to work on. I also like that I can add notes as conversations progress, so I don’t have to rely on my memory later. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EngageBay?

There are a few features I haven’t fully explored because I mainly stick to the tools I need every day. It would be nice if there were a simpler way to discover those features without spending too much time looking around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
