I have used it frequently for transmitting forms while keeping sensitive information separate from my email when possible. The UI makes it simple to add a file, cover letter, and basic contact information for form transmission. The eFax app integrates well with several workflows requiring receiving forms and transmitting them after completion. When forms are sent via mail, efax makes it possible to send over PDFs that were freshly scanned via Google Drive. I haven't experienced any major issues regarding speed, and feedback from the app is responsive. $9.99 is reasonable for an app that provides faxing services. The application interface is straightforward enough that minimal support is needed to send faxes when required, only requiring an email addres and a valid credit card before a fax can be sent. AI could potentially be implemented with a minimal footprint to determine whether two fax messages are sufficiently similar to warrant notifying the user before transmission while the other is pending (as opposed to having never ben sent). I don’t have to fight with a printer/fax anymore, which is a real relief. Being able to scan anything directly into my computer makes it much easier to work with and keep organized. eFax Online Fax Service brings my communication options together in one place, so the sending process feels straightforward and simple. Overall, it’s easier and more dependable than relying on the printer/fax features. What do you dislike about eFax Online Fax Service? I had it well learned and knew just how to use it until the interface changed. So I'm still in the process of learning the new software. With the older interface it was very easy to follow. For me, the newer interface seems to have a lot of things "hidden" throughout the program and directions to find some things are not very clear. I know technology is quickly changing but I don't think jumping into the "new way" is always to the advantage of the customers/clients of eFax. If it's not broken, there is no need to fix it. And the older version of eFax, for me, was not broken. If anything, the newer version seems broken and scattered. With the older version, it was very easy. I would not recommend this newer version to a "new comer" to fax online software. Perhaps eFax could offer a free, online tutorial. They may have, I don't know. But just using eFax the way I do, I'm pretty much self taught; just like every other software I have ever used since back in the late 80's. Not everyone is able to "self-teach. Because I don't have a need to fax very often, I can't find time to learn it. Each time I use it is a new learning experience. If I had the time to devote to only e-fax I think I could learn it quickly, I am a fast learner, but I just don't have the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. I don't have to fight with a printer/fax anymore. eFax simplifies faxing by pulling everything into one place, and the sending procedure is simple and easy. E-fax is a great program, but sometimes I think it would be nice to be able to fax off hard copies. I sometimes have ten or twelve [ages that have to be scanned in before I can fax them. I own a drug testing and occupational health business, so secure and reliable fax communication is extremely important due to the sensitive personal and medical information we send to and from physicians and other healthcare-related entities. I contacted eFax regarding an issue and was initially interested in potentially upgrading my service plan. Unfortunately, my experience with Cheyenne was extremely disappointing. She was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to assist me appropriately. I politely requested to be transferred to another salesperson, but instead she repeatedly insisted on transferring me back to support. After requesting again to speak with someone else in sales, she still transferred me to support anyway. As a business owner, professionalism and customer service matter. The interaction felt disrespectful and unhelpful, especially considering I was exploring expanding my services with the company. This situation should be addressed seriously. I use eFax Online Fax Service to communicate with different health care providers, which is extremely helpful as a therapist. eFax solves the communication problem compared to traditional fax machines because it's very efficient, letting me know clearly if the fax is sent without any wondering. I like the reliability because it's convenient, sending notifications to my eFax account and email for incoming faxes. Compared to a traditional fax machine, eFax's reliability is 10 out of 10, so I'm confident the fax has gone through. The convenience of not having to check if a fax was sent saves me time, as I know every fax went through when eFax confirms it. The value is wonderful at $20 a month, guaranteeing sent faxes are received and I get notified in two ways. eFax is super easy to set up and anyone with minimal computer knowledge can create an account by signing up with an email and password.
