It's secure for granting specific users access to video recordings for their assigned locations. I do have to say there are very few issues with the Eagle Eye Networks platform (Classic settings); however, the latest 'Enhanced Interface' has been slower and counter-productive due to latency. There's a disconnect between the client's portal and the back-end platform for viewing or accessing video images. The latency is just too slow and lags longer than it should. What stood out to me the most is how easy it is to remotely access live and recorded video feeds from any device. The platform has a clean interface, and the setup for cloud-based storage and access was more straightforward than I expected. I also really liked the motion-triggered alerts and the ability to search for specific events or footage easily. Their mobile app is smooth and surprisingly responsive. There is not much that we dislike about the Eagle Eye system. Most of our 'dislikes' are features that we would like to see implemented and since Eagle Eye is always upgrading and implementing new features we usually do not have to wait long to see the features we want. We are waiting to have some features implemented when it comes to video searching and being able to search multiple cameras at once. We needed a larger video canvas of our location due to the nature of our student population and we are currently using their 911 camera sharing feature which is a fantastic service that allows 911 operators to pinpoint exact locations and search areas if and when we (or local citizens) need emergency services. With Solar Power, Cellular Connectivity and solid camera choices - all in one simple package - it has allowed us to serve customers that previously would have required a very significant design process. We helped a customer purchase 2 systems - when compared to the previous 'lease' of 2 surveillance trailers, Eagle Eye Networks paid for itself in 3 months AND reduced their monthly expense by 90%!
