One area that could be improved is the payment process. I use PayPal to receive donations, and I believe the minimum withdrawal amount of $100 per month can be a challenge. There are some elements of its function that are not immediately clear when setting up that affect its performance in practice, such as recurring donations having more limited payment options than one-time donations. We wanted a flexible, user-friendly tool for our PTA team. While I feel comfortable with SaaS solutions as part of my daily work, I wanted to vet a tool that I could comfortably hand off to others, since I'll eventually leave this PTA to move to the middle school. I like that people from anywhere in the world can donate, and it accepts different currencies, which is great because I have friends in India, the US, and Canada who can all donate easily. There are lots of options and customization, which is good. I found it difficult to change some settings. Like, when I wanted to hide the donor wall, I looked and looked and Googled how to do this. It wasn't so easy. I had to send Donorbox an email and they had to make the change for me. I don't find it as easy to customize certain things. Also, someone in India mentioned that they had to put an email address before donating, and some people don't use email. So that's another thing I don't like.
