BUT I have not even used it yet because I am trying to get some help and have not found anyone that will take the time to help me. I was so looking forward to making this work for my new business. My hope was that with advertising I would get tons of work. I really really wish they would have a contact that could help **What do you dislike about DocVerify?** I do not like it at all that there is not someone you can call for help when needed. You are only directed to videos which are not always helpful. Sometime you just need a person to talk to to walk you through the process. I can not imagine if someone had NO experience at all with computers. There is no way they would be able to do this and not have help. I really hate that I am paying for a service that is not useful at all to me yet. Also, it is so so expensive. I thought that when I paid the $50 a month I would have unlimited access to do Notary signings BUT there has been charge after charge. I am sure I will not win any gift cards with my review, but I am being so honest. **Recommendations to others considering DocVerify:** DON'T put your money into this unless you have someone that has mastered it and can help you. **What problems is DocVerify solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am paying for a service that is very confusing and I have not done one notary signing yet. I am not sure that I will stay with this platform if they don't make some changes. and FAST!! All the people that I am talking to are telling me this is the worst platform because you get no help. The program is pretty user friendly and they have a lot of information in their FAQs area. I am able to research most questions or issues through their help section of the Notary portal. They have videos and pictures to help you navigate how to do a remote notarization. I like that I can use this system for remote notary services and e-signatures for clients all in one. **What do you dislike about DocVerify?** I don't like that they don't phone number to call for support. You have to send an email and wait for a response. I would really like to be able to call the support line and ask a question to a person because sometimes the question is lost in translation during the email exchange. The support team does answer my questions within the same day, but sometimes that one email response does not resolve the issue or answer my question. I wish they had a live chat feature so that I can have direct and instant communication with a support person. I think that with either or both of those the questions and problems would be resolved a lot quicker. **Recommendations to others considering DocVerify:** The platform is user friendly and if you charge your clients for your notary fees than it will pay for itself. **What problems is DocVerify solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am able to do remote notarizations with their platform. I had registered with my Gmail account as I wasn't sure I was serious about the new RON situation in Florida. When I became ready to commit, I realized I needed to use my business address, but couldn't change it myself. Contacting DocVerify, I received prompt courteous and professional attention to my plight, and it was resolved right away. If this is how they handle a trivial matter such as this, I have confidence that more serious concerns will garner even greater attention. I trusted them because of so many great reviews- then I find out they bribe people for the good reviews! **What do you dislike about DocVerify?** Terrible support! Not user friendly. Very expensive. Platform wouldn’t even let me notarize two documents. I tried on two different computers & both chrome & Firefox with no results. Of course I couldn’t get any support. The next day I get an email that they want to get my problem resolved quickly LOL! **Recommendations to others considering DocVerify:** Please save your time and money and go with another platform. Don’t be like me - I was warned but still went with DocVerify & I’ve regretted every bit of it! DocVerify is not user friendly. The only support you’ll get from them is emails back & forth with links that are no help. I paid $680 plus $20 for ID credits to get started with them & they couldn’t even take my call when their platform wouldn’t work. Online notarization is definitely the future. I’m on board. **What do you dislike about DocVerify?** I have found it impossible to use. I am an attorney and I have been a notary for more than 20 years. I signed up and then tested the software by notarizing a document for myself (not a real document, just a test). I had two good computers next to each other so I could see both sides. I could not complete the notarization. Sometimes the signing side cannot click to sign. Sometimes the signer has clicked, the signing side says signing is complete, but the notary side says they have not signed yet. My best guess is this corona virus has caused their system to be overloaded. Since there is no live support, who knows. **Recommendations to others considering DocVerify:** Wait until the service has improved. Communication by the company during the beginning of the COVID19 crisis, when they saw the demand for their services explode beyond what they may have been ready for, was amazing, helpful and always timely. **What do you dislike about DocVerify?** Initially the idea that there was no phone support seemed like an issue, but the massive amount of information DocVerify provides online - the detailed manuals and state-specific links - made everything easy to understand. **What problems is DocVerify solving and how is that benefiting you?** It has transformed the capacities of a legal assistant working remotely. Typically, in a law office, a legal assistant or paralegal is available in-office to handle the firms notary requirements, which can be extensive. Affidavits have to be notarized on a regular basis, sometimes on a daily basis. Without the ability to notarize in person, my firm requested I investigate the potential of becoming a remote online notary to take advantage of Nevada's new remote notary laws, which allows a traditional notary to notarize, electronically and remotely, worldwide. This would be a tremendous value to national law firm that was facing a nationwide shutdown of its offices. After investigating the available remote notary company offered, DocVerify stood out as the most professional company that offered all of the resources needed. After trying one remote notarization, it became clear that DocVerify was the perfect solution for our firm's needs, and every notary, nationwide, that could become a remote notary did so using DocVerify. Our firm now exclusively uses DocVerify for its remote electronic notary needs. I personally have been given multiple commendations for my HR file for my efforts to expand the firm's ability to meet our client's needs nationwide without violating stay-at-home orders, and to meet an extremely busy corporate client's needs to remotely notarize documents. ### 8. Those of us want remain self-employed. I inquired with some other platforms who were not even courteous enough to respond. There are several features such as branding making document templates, Identity verification etc that make the online process streamlined. I can also use this platform for electronic in person Notary, electronic log book and loan signing which are on the rise now and for ease of the clients and title companies. **What do you dislike about DocVerify?** Sometimes the platform slows down, and that could be a lot of internet traffic locally but not always certain. I do not like being charged a monthly flat fee and credits for each transaction, can add up quickly. **What problems is DocVerify solving and how is that benefiting you?** People do not have to travel out of their homes to locate a Notary. The system repeatedly rejected one persons back of a drivers licenses no matter how many times it was scanned, photographed, uploaded, resized, landscaped, regardless of app used, etc. Sometimes it rejected his selfie. Flat bed scanner, phone, it didn't matter what we tried it rejected him. No, the licenses wasn't expired -- the system kept saying the image was 'clear'. I tried it myself with his image and got the same problem (master's in computers here, so not user error). Notary said the remaining 2 parties could not sign without all 3 doing it at the same time. She had no ability to call support -- only email support available. Email support kept saying the user was doing something wrong. The system provides NO ability for the notary to be a smart human and accept the photo documents. The system itself must approve the documents and if it fails to do so then "no soup for you". The notary has surrendered all decision making ability and all judgement to the computer system. Given these restrictions, I'm not sure why a notary is needed at all. Sad to say, we tried for 3 hours to get the system to work. 4 people involved. Yep, the attorney's office ended up printing out the docs and mailing them fed-ex so we can go to the bank to get them notarized (in 3 different cities) and all fed-ex the docs back to the attorney. We should have this all done in a week. Sadly, docverify took the old notary process that was kind of inconvenient and a little annoying and made it so much more painful. I hate getting things notarized and was so happy to hear my state changed the law to allow remote notaries. I'm utterly disappointed at what docverify has done with the process as there is no way around their system when it breaks. You are forced to send emails that are never returned. This technology would be super useful if there was every anyone to help you. If a document came over and disappeared send an email. They don't care that it has been over 2 weeks and nobody has responded. If you want to upgrade your account and have a question, again send an email with no response. I am shocked that a company with such poor customer care is in business. **Recommendations to others considering DocVerify:** Seek elsewhere. Now I know better. **What do you dislike about DocVerify?** As a remote online notary, I wanted a platform I could depend on to use to serve my customers during the pandemic. The fees here are astronomical. Five dollars per signature. On a simple 40 page loan doc, I might burn through 100 dollars. I only charged 50 for a short loan signing! The pricing comparison tables don't spell out what the ongoing fees actually are. I've only been active 10 days or so, and I am one third through my allotted signatures for the year. The platform has serious bugs. Several times I could hear a person and see them, then the feed dropped, then I could hear them but their video was dark with a bouncing neon light in one corner. I have to refresh or log out and in all the time. Today I notarized for the same man four separate times. Even though the success pop up screen appeared at the completion, nothing from the transaction saved and the information would not move to the completed folder. Huge waste of time. I sent in a support request and no one replied other than to ask for a screenshot. Of what? His docs still sitting in the process folder? On the help pages and community forum, the blame is placed squarely on throttled internet. My speed test shows I am five times higher than minimum speed requested on both downloading and uploading. Today I could not sign two afternoon files. The DocVerify site completely crashed. I tried from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to get one completed. Not possible. They need major site maintenance and to hire an actual support team. There is no phone support and the help pages are generic. I had to hunt down the support email and it was a dead end. I cannot depend on DocVerify to function. I'm actively seeking a replacement platform. **Recommendations to others considering DocVerify:** Look at another platform. **What problems is DocVerify solving and how is that benefiting you?** DocVerify has presented many speed bumps. I signed up a few months prior January 1st 2020 when RON became legal in Oklahoma, I was trying to understand it better. After getting my ron commission, I noticed as a new user the notary gets 2 weeks free? Something like that, well when I signed up, I could not participate in any specials because RON was not available in Oklahoma. So I sent an email inquiring, and received a reply back "your on a free account" that was all. Email was signed Customer Service it doesn't detail who replied back to the email, I find this to be very unprofessional. This made me more concerned with investing anything in this platform when the company can not interact with me, address my questions and clarify how it works, I was very disappointed. I have found another platform that actually takes their time to make sure notaries are well informed and all questions are answered. I can not bring myself to invest in a company that doesn't care if the notaries question was answered/resolved. I replied to the email, "Thank you for your detailed response. I may consider another platform, I am not trying to be disrespectful but I am not comfortable paying any fees annually or upgrades when not much effort is being put in to customer support" **Recommendations to others considering DocVerify:** Proceed with caution.
