This is an amazing software that provides easy maintenance of all scanned documents it enables users to create notations and digital stamps. Documents can easily be dragged and dropped. It provides different format conversions of documents. It stores documents that enable them to search quickly and retrieve them rapidly. The user interface is easy and clear to understand for first use. It keeps all the documents in one place in an organized way and they can print anytime. There must be wildcard searchability in search engine so whenever we write a single value it will show all the documents that contain the same value in it. The workflow module is a little bit complicated while working, it does not work properly sometimes. It does not notify you if your delivery fails while sending it to email or fax. I like the ability to view documents and see approvals. Our main use is for AP invoices; for example, when the finance & accounting group is reviewing monthly financials each month, they are frequently using DocLink to research what is causing anomalies or so show who approved an invoice. I'm not sure if it is a version issue, but it seems a bit out dated and could be a little cleaner. Sometimes it can be a little slow to load information as well. Every business document can be accessed quickly and easily so there is no longer a need to have to call back a vendor who is checking on payment because you can't find that invoice they are questioning. Although this is a very proficient system, it is technology based so there is a reasonable margin for error. In my time of use, there have been instances of documents accidentally being deleted, there have been times when the document images didn't format properly and were unable to be read and had to be rescanned. There is also the issue that all documents have to be either scanned as a TIF or they will be converted to TIF. TIF files are not always acceptable. We have been using Doclilnk for several years and rely solely on the system for all our document filing. We have discovered that the system has helped us become quiet efficient and has greatly improved productivity and substantially decreased errors and missing files. The system is very user friendly and can be taught to new employees very easily. The processes are easy to understand and utilize. The Administrator module is relatively easy.
