  ### 1. Accurate extraction with genuinely useful AI fields; UI polish is the one gap

**What do you like best about DigiParser?**

The AI-driven custom fields are the standout capability. I defined a classification field that determines whether an invoice represents plan spend or overage spend, and it has returned the correct value on every document processed. Combined with the auto-rename templates, each processed invoice lands with the date, vendor, total and spend type already in the filename, so the document library itself becomes a usable report without any downstream tooling.

Implementation was fast. I went from sample document to mapped fields to a live Gmail integration pulling matching invoices automatically inside an hour, with no developer involvement. The Gmail integration with subject filtering does the collection work I would otherwise do by hand every month.

Reliability has been excellent — zero extraction errors to date across every document I have run. I use it daily.

Support deserves specific mention. I raised a genuine edge case around re-importing previously deleted documents; it was diagnosed accurately, fixed in product over a weekend, and returned to me with clear reproduction steps.

**What do you dislike about DigiParser?**

My reservations are about the interface, not the engine.

Reprocess is exposed in at least three separate places (document view, top right, and on AI pick-list fields) and does not always trigger on the first click. Bulk actions are inconsistent: bulk reprocess is available under All Documents but absent from the Extracted Data panel, which offers export, move and delete instead — I would consolidate bulk actions onto Documents only.

Navigation is the weakest area. There is no clear route back to the parser and no top-level menu; deleting a page while viewing a document leaves the view in a confused state rather than advancing to the next document, and Back does not behave as expected.

There is no way to abort a running Gmail import or halt processing once started, which means a misconfigured run has to be allowed to complete while consuming credits. Related: there is no reset for email imports after deleting previously imported records, short of reconfiguring the integration.

Auto-rename templates accept any text without validation, so a mistyped variable is only discovered later in the output filenames; highlighting recognised variables as valid would remove that risk entirely.

Finally, the settings taxonomy is not intuitive. Document renaming sits under Parser Settings > Post-processing rather than the Post-processing section itself, and the additional email settings are not under Integrations where you would look for them. Prompt guidance for AI fields is also thin — a few worked examples and a confidence score on pick-list selections would shorten the learning curve considerably.

None of this prevented me from getting to a working, valuable configuration. It is friction in the first few days rather than a limitation of the product.

**What problems is DigiParser solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It removes manual invoice data entry and gives me structured, queryable spend data without a spreadsheet workflow.

Specifically, I use it to track LLM provider billing. Invoices arrive by email, are collected automatically by a filtered Gmail integration, extracted into structured fields, classified by AI as plan or overage spend, and renamed to a consistent convention. What was previously a manual monthly reconciliation is now an automated pipeline I only review.

The wider benefit is auditability: consistent naming and consistent fields mean I can answer questions about vendor spend from the file list alone. The remaining gap is aggregation — native grouping by month with generated totals would let me retire the spreadsheet entirely.

**What do you like best about DigiParser?**

It’s easy to use and the process is straightforward to follow, especially when setting up the parser to correctly scrape the information from the scanned and attached document. In my case, I needed the output as QBO files for QuickBooks, and it generates what I need. Support has also been helpful, and overall it works fast and gets straight to the point.

**What do you dislike about DigiParser?**

So far, I haven't encountered anything I dislike, but I would suggest that more video guides and case studies demonstrating how to use each of the features would be better; that's it.

**What problems is DigiParser solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was searching for a way to automate the process of handling hundreds of scanned documents to convert them into QBO files for QuickBooks. Generating those QBO files is difficult; only banks provide them, while the rest require manual entry of each statement. With Digiparser, that problem vanished. I was able to upload hundreds of documents, and by following the Digiparser process, I could convert and generate the QBO files, which I successfully uploaded into QuickBooks. What once took hours now takes just minutes.

**What do you like best about DigiParser?**

It did what it advertised it would. Big plus for user friendly interface, without any overload of additional, unnecessary flashy features. Even options that seemed they miss something, worked perfectly. The trick is in simplicity and effectiveness. Big thumbs up. Also, their support was impeccable - fast reply, great explanations, all problems solved within minutes.

**What do you dislike about DigiParser?**

There is nothing we didn't like. DigiParser exceeded our expectations.

**What problems is DigiParser solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are professional services company and our audit team had a problem: big projects with thousands of invoices and a task - to extract data from 15 fields per invoice. They did all of this manually - copy/paste and it took hours, days and months. Instead of having audit professionals doing professional work, they spent all this time to copy/paste. DigiParser was a game changer - it speeded up the entire process at least 100 times if not more, which means huge saving of time for employees and huge saving of money for the company.

**What do you like best about DigiParser?**

I really appreciate DigiParser's API integration, as it allows me to seamlessly communicate with my app. It's great that I can use the API to get the information I need without having to rely on the website. This integration helps me implement my own features and ensures everything works together with DigiParser. Another aspect I find particularly beneficial is the ability to get a confidence score for each field. This feature is critical because it lets me know how certain the model is about its predictions, and I can manually correct results if needed. The initial setup was very easy, taking less than an hour, with clear settings on what I can modify.

**What do you dislike about DigiParser?**

One thing is that the confidence score tends to be on the higher end most of the time even if there are not clear images where it should be lower. The model should be able to predict whether it's underestimating or overestimating the confidence score and give a more precise measurement.

I use DigiParser to automate invoice scanning, structuring data efficiently and leveraging its API for seamless app communication.
