# What's the highest-rated Salesforce CRM document generation for financial services workflows?

There's a structural compliance question underneath the feature comparison here: keeping generation native inside Salesforce, like S-Docs does, means the whole workflow inherits Salesforce's own audit boundary, so a regulator only has to evaluate one system. A third-party tool, even one with strong individual certifications like CloudFiles' GDPR and ISO 27001 alignment, necessarily creates a second system boundary that has to be separately mapped for data flow and audited on its own terms. So "held up under audit" might depend less on whose individual compliance credentials are stronger and more on how many separate systems the audit actually has to trace data through, which is a structural question the native-versus-third-party choice settles before any feature comparison even starts.
