What do you like best about Devolutions Remote Desktop Manager?

RDM has a ton of features, it's very difficult to pin down one, but I'd have to say the ability to group desktops and credential inheritance. This allows me to easily manage my various groups of machines and switch between them effortlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Devolutions Remote Desktop Manager?

I wish the fullscreen interface were a bit better thought out. It would be nice if they used an auto-hide top bar like the native Remote Desktop - but that's a minor inconvenience. It would also be nice to have multi-monitor options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Devolutions Remote Desktop Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?

As I've started picking up more responsibilities for a global company, it has become increasingly more difficult to remember/keep track of all of the servers that I have to manage as well as usernames/passwords. just one luxury problem right now: It seems the program runs slower in an environment without internet access - but I cannot prove that this is because of the missing connection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Work more efficient since all connections are in one place

- get people faster onboarded, no need to tell them where to find the proper connection profiles

RDM is good in multiple target connection management.

My favorite features are: organazine, multi user, ad integration, permissions

What problems is Devolutions Remote Desktop Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?

I can keep track of specific server information such as names, IP addresses, MAC addresses. I can keep specialized information in the description field and associate tags with specific server types. I can access all local resources of my office within the open window. I can have the same servers listed more than one time so I can have a main list with everything and other lists for specific use servers. Since 95% of my servers are virtual it allows me to keep an up-to-date inventory without logging into the local and remote virtual consoles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Remote Desktop Manager is very easy to set up. It allows me to map out all my rdp sessions and save them for the future.

I would have had an excel File mapping out all my rdp sessions before using this sofrware. Now I have added all the rdp sessions into the sofrware. It allows me to easily access all the software and save the sessions for the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Devolutions Remote Desktop Manager?

Multi-user sharing capability is a huge plus, and protocol support for VNC, SSH, RDP, etc all in one system is amazingly useful. It leaves Royal TS and the others in the dust feature wise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Subscription only software with no perpetual license option, I got quite the surprise when my renewal was delayed and functionality was locked out. We got the renewal handled pretty quickly though! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have a folder with all our credentials in it, so we can give access to only a few members to change and view them. But we all have to use them not change them all the time.

I would find very usefull to be able to set a folder hidden. Hidden yes, but still accessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
