The fact that it can do much more than just RDP / Remote Desktop sessions is what I like best about Devolutions Remote Desktop Manager. I've not had to look at another app for my day job since I started using it a few years back now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With all the available options and abilities it does create a large memory overhead. It could be sluggish on a system running 16GB of ram.

The number of features it has and the protocols it supports. I also like a lot that it is frequently updated, which gives me confidence on the software. The performance of the software itself isn't all that great and the options so many that menus get chaotic. Also, when combined with other Devolutions software there are a lot of overlapping features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really appreciate the functionality in RDM as I like the following points:

Centralized Connection Management:

RDM allows users to centralize and organize remote connections, including RDP, SSH, VPNs, VNC, and more, into a unified platform.

Users can structure their connections using folders, tags, and custom icons for easy navigation.

Credential Management:

Securely store and manage login credentials for various remote systems.

Support for credential inheritance, allowing users to manage credentials hierarchically.

Activity Log:

Remote Desktop Manager is the ultimate tool for aggregating multiple connections most needed to fulfill everyday job. It's very easy to set up and configure, and in a matter of minutes, we can set up our connections no matter which protocol is used. Also, it is very simple to import created connections across Operating Systems, which allows always having a manual import for each OS or simply sync all connections with an online Devolutions Account. I love the ease of use. It's very easy to understand and intuitive. Allows me to keep one single tool to manage my whole infrastructure environment (servers, storage, firewalls, switches, etc).
