Setup and forget, one simple Agent install, great support, Perfect for small business or home office. Easy Restore. An alternative for remote workers that are not on the office network to use Datto BCDR. Can be integrated to patforms like Backup Radar for easy management of alerts. **What do you dislike about Datto Endpoint Backup?** You Can't modify the frequency of the backups, PC must have only 1 active partition on C Drive. **What problems is Datto Endpoint Backup solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mostly use Nterprise solution Datto BCDR, but thet require servers located on the same LAN, if use WAN then need to use VPNs and that will make those out of site backups (home workers or branch offices) slow to backup. So, with Datto Cloud Continuity (now named Datto Enpoint Backup for Pcs) I just enrrol all those external computers and servers and have direct to Cloud backups, each 2 hours. if smething is wrong I have the proper alerts. ### 4. Numerous capabilities, including local and cloud backups that are accessible whenever we need them, are provided by Datto Cloud Continuity. A few more fantastic features include ransomware detection, integrity verification, and screenshot verification. Installing/ configuring/ ease of integration of virtual machines (VMs) (VMWARE/Hyper-V) and NAS backups is a simple process. It will provide us many option it's up to you which option you select like - volume restore (.vmdk files), Local virtualization, Cloud virtualization, Vitualize via hypervisor, ESXi upload, Bare metal restore, export all images to RAW, .vmdk, .vhd as per your requirement. ### 7. This forces me to charge the customer for two licenses for cloud backup. It's very common for an entrepreneur to have a single desktop or laptop that runs their whole business. Since these machines are subject to wear and tear, Cloud Continuity can be the lifesaver that helps you recover your data in the event of really bad failure. You can also bring your files back in case of ransomware. **What do you dislike about Datto Endpoint Backup?** As of spring 2021, the software required you to get in contact with an IT company, and there didn't seem to be any self-serve option. You can still contact Datto directly, and they will put you in contact with a Datto Partner, but this makes it harder for the general public to take advantage of this tool. You can just go on their website and look at pricing, you have to "request pricing," and that's always discouraging when researching software. I think it hurts the company in this case. **What problems is Datto Endpoint Backup solving and how is that benefiting you?** Datto Cloud Continuity is perfect for those small offices or solopreneurs that have their information on a single hard drive. Whether that's an All-In-One or a Desktop with File-sharing, we used Datto Cloud Continuity for our smaller clients that only needed that one device protected. In larger offices, you might have a server, and you might use a Backup Appliance, but those can be costly. Small businesses usually do not have a budget for that type of solution, so Cloud Continuity is perfect for this. ### 23.
