"ASC Review 2025"
What do you like best about Culture Amp?

I like the joined up nature of the product from a career perspective. Rather than the unhelpful annual appraisal which never worked very well across the year Culture Amp breaks down performance reviews into less formal, more frequent conversations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Culture Amp?

I believe that Culture Amp could be aligned to the pay review dates for the individual employees so that a review of annual performance can be aligned to financial reward. Also, many of the questions are designed for client facing staff and aren't relevant for Finance. I'm not sure if the lack of department specific questions is purely an issue with the question setters in our organisation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Data-Driven Insights, but Pricey"
What do you like best about Culture Amp?

I appreciate Culture Amp's ability to provide a data-driven approach with analytics that make it easier to draw conclusions without needing extensive data analysis expertise. The service stands out for having comparative data that allows for benchmarking, which was lacking in our previous tool, Survey Monkey. I find the setup process to be quite easy and straightforward, and the onboarding team is exceptionally helpful in overcoming challenges like mapping fields and data formatting. Culture Amp's capability to conduct in-depth surveys is invaluable, as it helps in shaping our engagement focus and action areas effectively. The system's recommendations for findings facilitate leadership buy-in, ensuring the initiatives are not perceived merely as HR-driven. I am impressed by the heatmaps and insights features, which I find particularly useful in my experience with the platform. Additionally, the benchmarking feature, although a secondary factor, adds further value. Overall, I maintain a high likelihood of recommending Culture Amp, rating it 10 out of 10, because of the comprehensive and supportive nature of its features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Culture Amp?

I find the cost of Culture Amp to be a significant drawback, with its pricing being almost four times higher than other platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Culture Amp?

Culture Amp is a great way to track progress on goals and receive feedback from Peers. I recently learned that it is also a great resource for learning new skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Culture Amp?

Not that it's a big dislike but the time that it takes to document items in the software is a downfall. It would be a dislike no matter what the software was. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to set up, great for performance reviews"
What do you like best about Culture Amp?

I find it particularly advantageous that Culture Amp is simple, self-explanatory, and easy to set up, which allows for a start without major hurdles. The ability to tailor the system specifically to our needs and integrate it into the HRIS offers us flexibility in application. I appreciate the 1:1 templates that help us create engaging and comprehensive performance reviews. These features support our organization in conducting semi-annual reviews, exit interviews, and 1:1 meetings. Additionally, I am very satisfied with the support, which is reliable and valuable. These aspects significantly contribute to my perception of using Culture Amp as effective and beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Culture Amp?

In the 1:1 templates, there are elements that unfortunately cannot be deleted or keep popping up again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User Friendly and Fun to Use"
What do you like best about Culture Amp?

My employer has been using Culture Amp for a while now and it’s been super helpful. I use it to keep track of 1:1 agendas with my manager. It's nice to not have to do that in sheets or OneNote, I find this more user friendly. We also use it to give and get anytime feedback anytime. I like that the request and reception of the feedback is very easy.

My employer also sends out surveys through Culture Amp, and I've found them to be quick to fill out and easy to understand. The platform makes it very smoooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Culture Amp?

It seems like there are some features that can't be customized by the employer from what I've heard. There has been a few use cases where HR has just said "Culture Amp won't allow us to do that". One that comes to mind for me is that I wish all feedback was just automatically shared with my manager. In our context it doesn't seem like there is really a reason for it not to be and it creates an extra step. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use with Great Features and Simple Implementation"
What do you like best about Culture Amp?

Here are a few points to note when using Culture Amp. First, I find it very easy to use, which makes navigating the platform straightforward. It also offers a wide range of features, allowing for flexibility in how you use it. Additionally, the ability to review, nominate peers, or provide feedback is quite helpful. Overall, I found the implementation process to be smooth and uncomplicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Culture Amp?

I can't find anything to dislike about this product; its system is extremely user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Employee Engagement with Stellar Support"
What do you like best about Culture Amp?

I have been using Culture Amp for four years, primarily for employee surveys. I truly appreciate its capability to understand benchmarks, which allows me to see year-over-year transitions or changes. This is particularly valuable as it helps in analyzing demographic data and understanding how different groups respond to surveys. The tool has incredibly helped us build a rigorous research culture within our organization, enhancing our ability to track and improve our impact on internal stakeholders. I also find it beneficial for assisting with employee well-being surveys, understanding organizational health, and managing employee exits, particularly for senior leaders. The team behind Culture Amp has been fantastic, providing us with wonderful relationships and connections, alongside constantly offering ideas and thoughts on how to effectively use the tools. This supportive relationship is a significant factor that makes me consider continuing with them. I greatly enjoy the comprehensive insights it provides, and this connection to the supportive team really adds value as they continuously help in maximizing the use of the tools. Additionally, its functionality makes it a reliable choice, as reflected in my high likelihood to recommend it to others, which I rate as a perfect 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Culture Amp?

I would love if Culture Amp integrated with tools like Beautiful AI or offered more design-oriented, visually appealing ways of presenting data. This is an area where I see a great opportunity for improvement. While Culture Amp likely meets the needs of many users, my background in designing presentations leads me to desire a higher design standard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for 1-on-1s and Tracking Staff Well-being"
What do you like best about Culture Amp?

1 on 1s are great. Allows me to keep track of how my staff is feeling at work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Culture Amp?

I dis like the removal of the check in sliders in the 1 on 1. Certain aspects of the 1 on 1 should be left unchanged. Addtionally, there should be a way for the HR department to easily view records of 1 on 1s. I understand 1 on 1s should be kept beween supervisor and staff, but there are times that that information needs to be accessible from an admin level. Manager's leave, and staff leave, so it's important to be able to access that info. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Must-Have Platform for Building a Strong Workplace Culture"
What do you like best about Culture Amp?

What I like best about Culture Amp is how easy it is to use while still being very powerful. It makes it simple to send surveys and collect feedback from employees in a way that feels smooth and professional. I also like how the results are presented — very clear and easy to understand, even for people who are not HR experts. The platform gives useful suggestions on what actions to take based on the feedback, which helps a lot. It really supports building a positive workplace culture by making it easier to listen to employees and follow up with real actions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Culture Amp?

There is really nothing to dislike. For new users, it might take a little time to explore all the features, but once you get used to it, the platform becomes very easy and enjoyable to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Everything you'd expect from an employee experience platform"
What do you like best about Culture Amp?

Culture Amp is extremely user-friendly while also managing complex features with ease. For instance, we were able to incorporate our detailed role matrix into the peer feedback process for performance reviews. This has made it much simpler for employees to give feedback, as they can clearly see the expectations associated with each role. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Culture Amp?

I have to think really hard to find something I dislike about Culture Amp, as it truly is an outstanding tool. However, one area where the platform could be improved is its integration with Slack, specifically in the channels where we have set up our "kudos". When someone gives kudos, the Culture Amp icon appears, but it's not clear what action we're supposed to take when that happens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
