"Best ad creative platform I've used."

What do you like best about The Brief?

This is an instinctive and easy-to-use platform. I like the background remover, ad set creator, and templates. I don't use any other tools with it, it's enough to use by itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Brief?

The CSV upload function isn't as instinctive and easy as I thought it would be. It's possible to set up a lot of different version, but in the end you have to manually customize each one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is The Brief solving and how is that benefiting you?

With the CSV file it's more easier to load your images, texts, etc. into the design, so you don't have to manually replace them for every change. We are constantly working on upgrades and fine tuning, but at the moment the Feed ad builder still requires manual adjusting to place every asset in the desired position.

What do you like best about The Brief?

This program is very easy to use, from novices to pros. There are many templates to choose from that are already great looking and ready to customize, or you can build your own using their ad builder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Brief?

Sometimes global changes are not necessary. Unfortunately, if you started building out your ads and have this feature enabled, you cannot add a component to only one of the ads. It adds this component to all sizes whether you like it or not. You will have to go back and delete the component from all the other sizes manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You can add an image to one of the sizes from the set if you enter in Individual edit mode on the size, and you can simply drag and drop the image from your computer into the canvas.

"Super Simple - Fun Results"

What do you like best about The Brief?

The most valuable part of this platform is its ease of use. I can generate a quick ad in under 15 minutes, download it in a few seconds, and have it up and running flawlessly in under 1/2 hour. It lets me upload all of my brand credentials (fonts/colors/logos) — time-saving when creating a new ad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Brief?

Downside: Using "embed code" for HTML5 (non-ad) designs on my website. Creatopy inserts ad code somewhere; thus, ad-blocking software hides them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Saves a lot of time with creative assets"

What do you like best about The Brief?

I like the ability to have our team members all in one space where we can collaborate on creative assets. We are able to place our brand assets into the platform so we can easily add logos, text and colours to our pieces. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Brief?

We had some issues with our brand font not loading properly in the platform after an update. It required us to select a different font and then select our font again each time we made assets. This went on for a few weeks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As I understand from your message, you are unable to resize or crop an image. That should not happen, as Bannersnack offers the possibility to crop/resize the image as you would like. Maybe you added the image on your background layer. That is the only time when you will not be able to resize it. Other than that, if you add a new layer, and insert the image there, you will be able to edit it properly.
