That &quot;baked in vs bolted on&quot; framing is the whole ballgame. If audit trails and approvals are add-ons, you&#39;ll spend forever wiring them into every process and someone eventually forgets one. What you want is a platform where every action is logged by default and you can&#39;t switch it off. In compliance work the boring &quot;everything is recorded automatically&quot; feature beats every flashy one. What are you actually audited against, and can the tool produce that evidence without a human assembling it?
