Pricing is determined by 2 factors:

1. The "Plan" you are on  
2. The "Number of Users" you need

CMap's plans include, "Growth", "Pro" & "Enterprise", with each plan building on the last with increasingly advanced functionality. This means we're able to support companies at the start-up phase all the way through to the enterprise at scale.

The number of users you require is the other determining factor. It's really simple to add more licenses as and when you need them.

CMap has 3 pricing editions. Look at different pricing editions below and see what edition and features meet your budget and needs.

"Superb Platform That Transformed Our Operations, Customisation Takes Effort but Is Worth it."

What do you like best about CMap?

Once set up it's very easy to use, they've thought of pretty much everything (for a consulting business), and they're generally responsive to feedback.

It's transformed our project operations: regularly getting close to our utilisation figures, keeping close tabs on resourcing so people are working optimally without overload - and it's made everyone's lives measurably better.

We've (the team has) made a lot of changes to our business, and the improvements are not all down to CMap, but in parallel CMap has been a very important feature because it has helped smooth everything and connect up a series of separate processes, which has yielded tangible efficiencies.

So, if you do choose to implement CMap it really is worth taking a holistic view of your whole operation and adapting that alongside. Don't just bolt it on and expect magic (though it will still be better than what you have got now!). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CMap?

Take care which onboarding package you choose: explore with them exactly what the different options offer. Ours felt a bit rushed (though the team were excellent - thank you Onai and Julia) and it transpires the bumpy ride was partly because of misunderstanding what we had bought. So I guess they could work a bit harder with their sales comms.

The Fee Estimator template needed a lot of tailoring to fit to our way of doing things and how we cost our work. It's also not really optimised for the tailoring we needed to do, and we've had to use workarounds that makes it a touch less elegant in use. It is nevertheless a fantastic piece of engineering now we have done it, and it makes building our jobs and then resourcing them really granular and accurate. Worth investing the time in building a great fee estimator as we hear other users haven't done this, and perhaps it's one reason they may not get the same benefits we have (this is a guess!).

There are also a billion and one reports, plus opportunities to customise them, which is all great in theory, but in practice they're hard to use without quite a lot of support. It's hard to know where to start. They have generously offered to do this (thanks again, Julia), but I do wonder if there's more that could be done to hand hold users through literally hundreds of report templates.

Realise these negatives seem longer than the positives: but these are nit-picking details really.

Buy with confidence: it's a superb and ever-evolving platform, and a must have/gamechanger for any SME consulting business. Just make sure you take your time to understand what you are buying and how best to tailor it to your needs: talk to the Sales team about this, then gear your onboarding, invest time in your team's input and upskilling, and build your version to reflect your way of doing things. What do you like best about CMap?

What I like most about CMAP is how it brings everything together in one clear, easy‑to‑use platform. It has replaced multiple Excel spreadsheets and made managing projects, invoicing, resourcing, and timesheets far more efficient. The invoicing scheduling and tracking are simple, and the reporting tools make it easy to create tailored reports around our key metrics. I also really value the dashboards, which give fee‑earning staff a clear snapshot of their performance. Support is always very quick in responses and resolutions. Overall, CMAP has improved financial visibility, accountability, and saved a significant amount of time across the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CMap?

While CMAP holds a lot of valuable data, the standard reports can feel quite limiting for our specific needs. Although the report builder is helpful, it doesn’t always allow us to fully combine or present data in the most useful way, which often means exporting multiple reports and finishing the work in Excel. This reduces how much meaningful information can be easily shared through dashboards. The external costs feature is also less developed than invoicing, as it doesn’t provide clear monthly projections. Additionally, the cost of the software feels relatively high compared to the level of functionality we actively use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CMap solving and how is that benefiting you?

CMAP has solved the issue of managing critical information across multiple disconnected spreadsheets by bringing everything into one central, user‑friendly system. It gives us clear visibility over invoicing, cash flow, project fees, timesheets, expenses, and profitability, all of which now link together seamlessly. Monitoring cash position and invoicing is significantly easier and more accurate than before. The resource planning tool is especially valuable as it helps us understand team capacity and plan workloads more effectively. Being able to track project profitability in real time has also improved financial control. The Xero integration is helpful in pulling data. Overall, CMAP has streamlined our processes, reduced manual effort, and improved decision‑making across the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
