The integration with HubSpot didn't work either. The lifetime deal on AppSumo made me try to switch, but it ended in a disaster. The initial setup was easy enough, but considering the issues, that's not worth anything. **What problems is Closely solving and how is that benefiting you?** I didn't find Closely solving any problems. Instead, it caused issues, the worst being my LinkedIn account getting banned. ### 2. As someone responsible for outreach and lead generation at my company, the cloud-based system and warm-up feature have been essential. I’ve been using it for 9 months without any LinkedIn bans becuase of their warm-up feature. The ability to extract 2,500 profiles and directly download them as a CSV or Google Sheet is a significant time-saver and a plus, allowing me to manage my campaigns more efficiently to upload the CSV to my LinkedIn campaign. They also consistently roll out updates, and whenever I provide feedback, I receive a link to their roadmap, which I find very helpful. The customer service is commendable, too. I use and monitor it everyday. I love that it can be integrated with HubSpot so my messages are recorded in our HubSpot CRM and it is easy to set-up. **What do you dislike about Closely?** I find the email campaign features lacking—they're not robust enough for my needs, particularly the fixed "unsubscribe" button. I wish I could edit this unsubscribe text so it doesn't come across as a marketing email for cold outreach. Additionally, once you upload a CSV, the data can’t be edited, and campaigns can't be modified after they're paused or stopped. Their customer support could be more knowledgeable, as I’ve encountered issues where I should have trusted my instincts instead. There’s a learning curve at the start, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes easier. Testing is key. Lastly, their lead finder is really not working an can't extract emails, so I still use another tool for email extraction. **What problems is Closely solving and how is that benefiting you?** Closely has improved my LinkedIn outreach, making it easier to connect with potential clients. It’s particularly beneficial for running LinkedIn campaigns, as I can track performance and adjust strategies based on detailed analytics. I wish they had a feature where I would auto withdraw requests after x number of days. **What problems is Closely solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to see all of my LinkedIn messages in one place is extremely helpful. I can manage and keep track of my multiple LinkedIn accounts with ease. Previously, I had to login to each individual account to see new messages and reply to them. This process was time-consuming and frustrating. Now, I can login to my main account and see all messages from my other accounts in one place. I can even reply to messages directly from my main account. This saves me a lot of time and makes using LinkedIn much more enjoyable. Why is that? Linkedin started as a networking platform that its users turned into much more. Unfortunately, the UX hasn't kept pace with user needs making the features offered by the platform somewhat convoluted or lacking. This is where Closely shines; it strips out a lot of what Linkedin is and focuses on prospecting and content management with an easy-to-understand interface focused on these simple goals. **What do you dislike about Closely?** Honestly, there isn't much to dislike about Closely because it focuses on what it does best. The issue for me, however, is that it uses methods of data collection that may violate Linkedin's terms of service and could cause possible account suspension. Closely has processes in place and onboarding to help mitigate this, but it still leaves me feeling uneasy using some of the features. The trade-off, however, is worth the minor risk. **What problems is Closely solving and how is that benefiting you?** How to go through leads on multiple accounts in the least amount of time possible. This is the biggest problem that Closely solves for me. It's ability to allow me to manage leads and run campaigns from multiple accounts with only a few clicks, and from a single dashboard, saves me hours. But, I think that the subscription limit seems a little bit lower to me. So, I recommend there should be more credit limit. Setting it up was extremely easy. Finding a targeted audience is also a straightforward task. In addition, the tool works in the cloud, so there is no need to keep your machine on. The solution provided by Closely is near-perfect. As a result of the warm-up mode and automation features, I could add more than 500 connections in 5 weeks without lifting a finger. The result is that I will be able to spend more time on the things that matter, such as sales. **What do you dislike about Closely?** There are many updated and upcoming features on the roadmap. I hope they can implement these features as soon as possible, but I can wait for more. At the current level of development, I do not find any cons. Currently, we can only run 2 active campaigns simultaneously; it should be 4.
