Communication and collaboration were challenging in my experience. Most times, there did not appear to be a consistent structure for executing tasks.
During the engagement, the team on multiple occasions expressed that the product was difficult to market and attributed lead generation challenges to this. This created uncertainty around strategy and ownership of outcomes, given that the engagement was specifically for lead generation.
There were also instances where the team indicated that the agreed fee did not align with the workload, despite the scope, KPIs, and pricing having been outlined in the contract at the outset.
After this engagement, we worked with another agency on a similar scope, and the outcomes differed significantly, with improved lead generation results even with lower budgets. While experiences may vary, this highlighted for us that a different approach was possible.
