## Circle Reviews
 ### 1. Exceptional Community Platform with Minor Regional Limitation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bence N. | Co-Founder, CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Circle.so excels in providing an intuitive and user-friendly interface that simplifies community building and management. Its comprehensive suite of features—including discussion forums, event management, and seamless integrations—empowers us to create a vibrant and engaging community space. The platform's customization options allow us to align our community's appearance with our brand identity, enhancing the overall member experience. Additionally, Circle.so's responsive and knowledgeable customer support team ensures that any questions or issues are promptly addressed, contributing to a smooth and efficient user experience.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

While Circle.so offers a comprehensive suite of features for community building, one limitation we've encountered is the unavailability of the Paywall service in Hungary. This restricts our ability to monetize our community directly through the platform. We hope that Circle.so will expand this feature to more regions in the future to better support global users.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WPKurzus, an online education business based in Hungary, leverages Circle.so as a replacement for its previous WordPress setup.

 ### 2. An incredible platform to accommodate a community with great order and clarity

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

What I like most about Circle is the simplicity of the platform and the intuitive way it works.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Since I started using the platform it has been out of service for quite a few periods.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Create a space where people can share easily and fun, while also offering different, organized sections of content.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julien - R. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

The ease of connecting, following lessons, notifications to stay informed, live sessions all on a single platform

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

A configuration only in English that penalizes some members of my community who only speak French

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stay in touch with the community and provide the necessary support for its education in a simple and practical way.

 ### 4. A wonderful way to support your growing community

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I love how I am easily able to connect with our Community and see it grow in the analytics.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I wish I was able to better choose what moderators has access to instead of it being a blanket choice.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is allowing me to connect to users more quickly.

 ### 5. great network experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Evangelia M. | Business Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2025

easy to create your own network and connect with numerous people plus so many other features available

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

nothing at the moment, everything seems pretty straightforward and easy to use

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communicating better with our customers but also allowing them to connect with each other and share the same passion

 ### 6. A Sleek Community Platform with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Circle is an intuitive and well-designed community platform that makes it easy to build and engage with online communities. The UI is clean, modern, and user-friendly, offering seamless navigation and customization options. The integration with other tools like Zapier and Slack is also a big plus, making automation and workflow management smooth.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

The mobile experience could be improved—it’s not as smooth as the desktop version. Also, the pricing might feel a bit high for smaller communities just starting out. Some advanced analytics features are missing, which would help community managers track engagement more effectively.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle makes it easy to build and manage online communities by combining discussion forums, events, memberships, and courses in one platform. It eliminates the need for multiple tools, reducing complexity and improving engagement. The customization options also help create a branded experience without needing extensive technical skills.

 ### 7. Great platform for learning and engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robin L. | Customer success manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

The UI is great. Love that it's more than just a place to access our resources, but our members can connect with each other.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I don't have any complaints or dislikes about the platform at this time.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Education, engagement and collaboration. Also, some automations.

 ### 8. Easy to use, No-Brainer for anyone building an active community today

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria W. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I discovered Circle first as a participant in a community and now as one that runs a community myself. It's such an easy place to get started, and I love that I can jump into Circle community calls (aka "office hours"), ask about best practices, meet other community builders, and see what actually works. I'm all about focusing on what works, eliminating what doesn't. I login daily, see the engagement from our 600+ member community, am able to reply easily, answer any DM's from the members, share videos, instructions, documents etc. I haven't had to reach out to Customer Support, but I know if I needed something I'd just hop into the Circle Community and find the answers super quickly (which I prefer over reaching out to support as a general rule).

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Personally, I almost bought into Thinkific and Skool, but then found Circle very organically. So, I suppose the answer could be that Circle could market more? But I prefer an organic hidden gem myself, rather than an influencer-pushed product.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were in the facebook page space for a while, and there were so many people who were just taking, and not giving. When we joined Circle, it was intentional - we wanted an engaged community of people helping others to solve the actual problems they have in their businesses. So, having a dedicated space, with paying members is really the key for us. The only people in our community are ones that have done their own research and are intentional with their time and energy. We then can help solve their problems with our community members guidance, stories, comments, likes, DM's, group calls, and so much more.

 ### 9. Easy to use and offers options of usage

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah S. | Chief Operating Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

It was easy to set up and we can continue to expand our usage as needed.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Nothing that I can think of at this time.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to build a learning academy for our platform.

 ### 10. Community Building!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leslie D. | Sr. Director of Design Programs, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I love the variety of spaces and the ability to make spaces open or closed

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I wish we could find members by location

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a space where we could have a lot of people, but also run projects for specific groups and spaces

 ### 11. Better than Slack

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan M. | Sales Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

It's easy to communicate and keep all the conversations. We migrated from Slack to Circle and like how much more functionality there is with Circle

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Repeating calendar events aren't easy to duplicate and the fact that they don't go for more than 52 events (basically one year for repeating events) and can't do custom days (like once every four days) are downfalls.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle has taken our team calendar, website where we hosted documents and Canva templates, and Slack and rolled it all into one place.

 ### 12. Circle is absolutely awesome for hosting community

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noelle C. | Community Experience Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Circle is amazing for hosting our community! We love that it is so intuitive and really easy to use. As a not super highly technical person, my role as community manager is made easier through Circle. We found it so easy to migrate over from our previous home and have found the support team to be so very helpful. The additional customer community is great for sharing and geeting feedback from peers, I love the sense of connection there. They are constantly making incredible updates that make managing a community even better. Through our 2 years on Circle we've experienced an increase in member satisfaction and simplifying of tasks so that we are better able to focus on growth. Always excited to see what improvements they roll out next!

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Would love to see expansion on video streaming to include audio only sharing (know this is so niche but want to mention it!)

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to host community without advanced technical skills. Courses hosted with community. Live video streaming functions to eliminate need for Zoom Webinar.

 ### 13. My favorite community-building platform by a mile...

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darnell B. | Growth Strategist & Educator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Circle helps me provide a clean and very intuitive experience for our community members through its native features and comprehensive interfacing.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Circle's Business plan ain't cheap, lol, but for the value I get, it's a no-brainer. Plus, I like that they do have affordable pricing for beginners along with a two-week trial on all of their plans.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle helps me provide a 360 degree solution for the creative entrepreneurs I serve through our mastermind ecosystem. One of the big problems Circle solves is segregation and it does that through cohesion. I like that it natively includes what I like from apps such as Slack, Zoom, Zapier, and Messenger so that our members don't have to go off-platform to correspond or meet with one another. Furthermore, I love that Circle *truly* listens to its users like me; they roll out major updates on a monthly basis and continue to improve the product.

 ### 14. Great platform, has continuously improved functionality and replaces more and more other platforms.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Very solid community features - I especially like the events feature where you can host live calls without needing separate meeting software.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I've had some confusion about granular access permissions for different members. Most of this has been resolved though.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having our courses and community and office hours all in one place instead of having it all on disjointed platforms. It's amazing for user experience too - no more multiple logins for our students.

 ### 15. Circle is awesome

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ishfaaq P. | Investor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

All the different things you can integrate on one platform

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

That the only payment option is through Stripe, which is not available worldwide

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had different platforms for different purposes, Circle allows me to integrate all in one, under my own website

 ### 16. Community Management all in one place

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiny H. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Robust features and complete community management all in one place has been a game changer for our business. Keeping things simple while giving us everything we need to properly manage our community and create SOPs for our team.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Courses have been a bit rough formatting wise but they are getting better so we appreciate that.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gives our community a central place to not only utilize the knowledge base we've built for them but also connect with others in the community.

 ### 17. Gamechanger for my clients!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

The client experience is so much better than any other platform I've used for my membership.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Wish the email marketing were more robust

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle allowed me to seamlessly integrate my community, courses, and coaching calls into one platform

 ### 18. A great all in one solution.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I like having meetings, discussions, reminders and dedicated client spaces all in one application.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I don't like the bugs. I don't like how the sound cuts our or the call exits on the mobile phone if you switch screens. I don't like that I can't come back to the recorded calls without having to start all over again.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a stable platform to contact and interact with clients and colleagues.

 ### 19. My experience with Circle .

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Islam G. | Data Analysis Intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Circle?**

As for the features, I want to mention several points that distinguish the circle.

Global Connectivity: Circle gives me the opportunity to interact in new and innovative ways, in an environment free from the negativity often found on other platforms. I feel empowered to build communities that add real value.

Technical Support: The customer service at Circle is top-notch, with excellent and easily accessible technical support, even for those without technical expertise. I've been able to connect with people from all over the world, enhancing my professional and personal relationships.

Recommendation: I highly recommend Circle for professional communities seeking to engage with evergreen content, and I see it as a great deal for the features it offers at its price.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Circle platform does have a few drawbacks to consider. The real-time chat can be slow and occasionally glitchy, which affects communication. Building a community can take longer than some might hope, even though Circle provides good support throughout the process. The subscription cost is relatively high compared to platforms like Patreon, Supercast, and Discord. Updates sometimes lead to the loss of features or require entire group spaces to be updated due to design changes, causing confusion and frustration. The platform can become expensive quickly if all features are needed, and it lacks specialization in instant messaging. Additionally, direct integration with other software is limited, often requiring the use of third-party platforms like Zapier.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems Solved by Circle :
1-Community Management
2-User Engagement
3-Content Organization
4-Improved User Experience
5-Support and Resources .

 ### 20. A Really Great Community Platform!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I love the ability to set up workflows for new members based on the space groups they've gained access to.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I'd love the ability to be able to download a cvs file directly to my browser rather than having it emailed.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is the platform for which my client runs her membership, course, and challenges. It allows her to create multiple different offers for her online business at once.

 ### 21. Very happy with our experience

Circle has been a great partner all around. The platform is stable and the team continually releases new updates and features. It is user friendly and the support and customer success team have been fantastic to work with. It's now an integral part of our business.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

No real downsides to speak of. We've been very satisfied!

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bringing our community and resources together in a central place, and helping to monetize.

 ### 22. Circle has simplified the way we want to manage our community and run courses

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

The ability to easily integrate permissions for users in each space or space groups. Sorting by tags or permission by tag, course upload and creation. Super easy stuff

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

The integrations are very basic. Always need to use third party apps to get things done for advanced settings.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving creating a whole backend to manage my community, benefits me by lowering development costs and overhead. Plus bugs, not much bugs

 ### 23. Circle is a great community platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

It's easy to create channels, organize information, give certain people access to certain spots, work with automations like Zapier, and allow our community to engage.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

With a large amount of people, it's easy for posts and information to get lost, but that's a hard problem to solve.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle allows our members who are based around the world the opportunity to connect and support each other.

 ### 24. Circle: A Game-Changer for Community Connection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lorraine T. | Founder and Visionary Director of DO brand YOU, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Circle?**

What I like best about Circle is how it fosters a private, organized space that supports diverse community offerings. It seamlessly allows you to create dedicated areas for resources, conversation, and member interaction. Hosting cohorts and shared learning experiences is intuitive, and the platform promotes deep, meaningful engagement with built-in features like rich media sharing, event scheduling, and customizable group structures. Circle makes it easy to build a vibrant, interactive community tailored to its members’ needs

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

What I find challenging about Circle is that members are often accustomed to more mainstream platforms like WhatsApp or Facebook, so it takes some effort to guide them to adopt and consistently use Circle. It requires some initial training to help them download the app, navigate the platform, and stay engaged. I find that I need to regularly remind and lead members back to Circle to maintain participation, which can be a bit of a hurdle in building community momentum.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a small business owner with a global audience, Circle solves the challenge of managing a connected community across time zones. The integrated RSVP feature adapts seamlessly, even for members who travel, ensuring everyone stays updated. It's incredibly flexible, allowing me to easily grant access to others who can facilitate conversations, making members feel more involved. Despite using the basic subscription, Circle offers a robust platform for growth and adaptability. Plus, the support and community forums provide invaluable assistance whenever I need help. It’s an all-in-one solution for hosting and evolving my global community.

 ### 25. Best platform to deliver high quality courses and programs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felippe N. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I've been using Circle for over four years to host my community-based course, and what stands out most is the simplicity—both for me and my users. The platform is designed to be incredibly user-friendly, with an intuitive interface that doesn’t require a learning curve when people join. Everything I need—courses, live sessions, community, and support—is all within Circle, so users don't have to jump between multiple apps or logins. This simplicity has made managing and scaling my community a breeze. Plus, the Circle team is fantastic; they are constantly improving the platform by listening to feedback and introducing new features that make it even more powerful. I highly recommend Circle!

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

One thing I miss on Circle is the ability to easily invite non-members to participate in events. Currently, when I share an event page and they click to RSVP, they're redirected to a sign-up page, which can cause confusion. They intended to RSVP for an event, but instead, they find themselves signing up for something they may not fully understand. I’d love to see a more streamlined process specifically for non-members, where they can register for the event without needing a full sign-up. It could be a light sign-up, where they only provide their name and email, with the option to complete their registration later. Alternatively, allowing them to RSVP without creating an account or having a dedicated page explaining the process would make things clearer and smoother.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle has helped me solve a major business problem by providing a single platform where I can manage everything for my cohort-based course. I needed a space where my cohort members could easily communicate with each other, where I could host my courses, manage my events with a calendar, and give them a seamless login experience. A lot of other community platforms either don’t integrate courses or event management, or if they do, they’re overly complex. Circle, on the other hand, saved me time by being incredibly user-friendly. My users didn’t need any hand-holding to figure it out because the platform is so intuitive and well designed

 ### 26. Talloo Loves Circle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** George S. | President and CEO, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Talloo has been using the Circle community platform to manage our large and dynamic community, and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional! Circle has transformed the way we engage with our members and deliver valuable content for professional growth.

One of the standout features is the easy-to-use interface, which makes navigating between community discussions, private groups, and exclusive content a breeze. Our members love the intuitive design, which encourages active participation and fosters deeper connections among professionals.

The flexibility of the platform allows us to create custom spaces for different member groups, enabling tailored experiences and focused discussions. The ability to monetize with memberships and courses directly within the platform has added a powerful revenue stream, seamlessly integrating with our business model.

The event management tools are top-notch, enabling us to host webinars, networking events, and live Q&A sessions effortlessly. We also love the robust notification system, which keeps members engaged and informed about the latest updates and conversations.

Circle's integrations with Zapier, Slack, and Stripe make it easy for us to automate processes and manage payments. Additionally, the content publishing tools allow us to share professional growth resources, articles, and insights with ease.

Overall, Circle has taken our community engagement to new heights, and we couldn't be happier with the platform! Highly recommend it for any organization looking to build a thriving online community.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

1. We would love the ability to place links within spaces.
2. We would love the ability to turn off Title on posts and the ability to publish our content easily beyond the platform into social networks for network expansion.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle has enabled communication within our community that has moved us out of the inbox where deliverability was challenging.

 ### 27. The best platform for community and courses.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pythian P. | CEO of M is for Magick, LLC., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Gone are the days of using 100s apps like Zapier and Click Up to complete tasks.

Circle has the ability to do workflows in its own platform. This makes automatic messaging more accessible, and it can send 150-character notifications.

You can create gamification with your users and have a leaderboard. Everything you need to build engagement is there and EASY TO USE.

I opted for the Enterprise price for the concierge experience and support. I was able to build and launch my community within 31 days. It has been so easy to develop and create a beautiful community.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

The payment system is great. However, it would be appreciated if other services were used instead of Stripe, which may be difficult for international users.

I would also like to see scheduling or the ability to add Calendly to the lessons, which would be helpful for coaches.

I wish their custom apps were more affordable. I cannot work with $15 budget for an app, I was paying $2.5k for an app on passion.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been a content creator for five years. I have tried many Platforms, and Circle beats Patreon, Might Networks, Skool, Squarespace, and Passion.io because it's an all-in-one platform. I hated having to pay for 10 different platforms to make my community fucntion.

 ### 28. Great software in the making

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hustle & Play G. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I love the user interface. I have lots of tech-averse women in my community and for the most part they are finding their way around without much issue. It looks beautiful, and feels like our own little world.

It's a newer software and I appreciate that they've set up a lot of transparency within their community to communicate what they're working on, when new features are coming, and various ways for us to ask questions in weekly office hours.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

There are lots of bugs and the customer support is very slow. There are times when they will respond quickly but it's very unpredictable and this adds a layer of stress at all times. The worst bug that happened was losing an entire session recording with a live audience. The "zoom" feature of the platform needs a lot of work - the audio and visual quality is very low compared to zoom. I just do my events on zoom as a workaround, and I believe circle will get there in time.

There are some basic features that seem to be missing - like being able to walkthrough a user sign up process without signing up as a fake member and then issuing a refund, or getting notified when new users sign up. The design needs are substantial - I am very skilled in canva and can easily size & re-size designs, but it's been cumbersome to learn the different dimensions needed for design in virtually every space. Be prepared to be back in forth in canva a LOT for every event, space, etc.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle creates a space for our community to gather, talk to each other, and dream. It's a new addition to our community but it's been game changing for our business and the vision we see for our growth potential.

Phillip and the team helping me onboard in 3 weeks was amazing.

I am in there everyday and my participants love it.

Implementing and setting up was easy.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Not a lot. I would love more love support and coffee hours in Australia time zone.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Circle as the foundation for my "Connect, Learn, and Share" initiative, and it has been a game-changer for fostering community and collaboration. Here's how I leverage the platform to bring this vision to life:

Connecting People: Circle allows me to create tailored spaces for members to connect based on shared interests and goals. Whether it’s through group discussions, direct messages, or live events, members have a place to interact, build relationships, and support one another.

Learning Together: The platform’s flexibility lets me organize resources, host courses, and share valuable insights in an engaging way. Members can easily access content, attend webinars, and participate in interactive learning sessions—all in one place.

Growing our community and monetizing our product.

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I like how my free and paid community members are all managed in the same platform.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I love that they release new features all the time, but I sometimes wish they would focus on platform speed and reliability as much as they do new products.

Allows me to charge for memberships, sell online courses, and sell event tickets on the same platform.

 ### 34. The perfect platform for my community!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordyn D. | Freelance Videographer, YouTuber, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I searched for months and months before choosing a platform to host my community on. I was so impressed by how actively Circle listens to their users and makes improvements based on feedback. It has been so simple and easy to use this platform and I couldn't be more happy to have chosen Circle for my online community. I also absolutely love how easy it was to white label my community and make it look aesthetically pleasing. Big win!

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

The only downside is simply just me not wanting to pay the full price every year but that's a silly one because they've built a program that's worth the price.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a place to host my community and it's perfect for that. I also want to build an online course and now I can do that too!

 ### 35. Not intuitive

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I truly value the ability to connect with community.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I am least fond of the lack of customization, the clunky workflow, and the restrictive nature.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is much more reliable on the tech side of the customer experience than our previous platform.

 ### 36. Circle makes my community magic happened

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Boris P. | Chief Product Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

The incredible pace of improvement and update make Circle the only reasonable choice if you have to start your community !

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Because the price can be a barrier, you need to secure your model before considering moving on Circle but be aware, this platform can be a part of the solution providing everything you need to help you monetize !

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gather in one centralized place my community world including events, workshop, tools, annoucement and communications

 ### 37. Our smartest decision in 2024.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sinem G. | Contributing Writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Circle?**

We LOVE how simple Circle makes it to actually build a supportive community for our students. Until earlier this year, we used Facebook groups to run our cohorts and membership. The switch to Circle was the best investment we could've made. Our students are so much more engaged. It's a space we're actually proud to show, and everything is well-organized.

Circle has become one of our most-used platforms and I can't imagine going back.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Adding events to calendars hasn't been working 100% well recently.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle is helping us run high-quality memberships.

 ### 38. Everything works well

There are a lot of good features.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

The support doesn't answer accurately, sometimes there are just no answers to your questions or technical issues.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a community platform to over online courses with community

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Costs are attached to multiple dimensions and attributes. But it’s not that expensive.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We run a community of users using circle and that includes hosting a bootcamp for our platform users and also using it as a forum.

The range of options to support my community.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping me host community coaching and meetings.

 ### 41. Easy to use, great features. not overcomplicated

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Automations could be more straightforward to set up and provide more sophisticated workflow options.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us connect with our customers.

 ### 42. I started using Circle after being a former Thinkific user.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I like Circle because it allows me to manage all my content in one place. It’s a great platform for actively engaging with my online course students in the chat space, while also providing an organized area for my videos and written materials.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Things I wish Circle offered are more flexibility with automation and additional storage. These were my initial concerns, but after using Circle for a while, I really wish we could create multiple communities, not just one. I’m also not a fan of their high transaction fees, but I can tolerate them as long as they provide the features we need. Hopefully, they address these issues in the future.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems I had with Thinkific were mainly around their community space, which didn’t really meet the needs of me or my students. Since switching to Circle, it’s been much more straightforward to use, with a clean and modern design. The fact that I can manage all my resources in one platform has saved me a lot of time.

 ### 43. Thanks to Circle, I have found a way to build a values-driven community

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vilma K. | Social Media Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Circle?**

What I love most about Circle is how it lets me build a genuine, beautiful values-driven community where people feel truly connected. It’s so much more than just a simple social platform - it’s a place where people can come together, share, and support each other in a way that feels really meaningful, supportive, encouraging, inspiring.

Also the Spaces feature is a huge help for keeping everything organized. We with the community can have discussions on specific topics without things getting messy, which makes it easier for people to engage and actually get value from being here.

I also love that I can host my course directly on Circle. It allows me to stay close to my students, check in on their progress, and offer help. Plus, the option to host live meetings right on the platform brings us even closer as a community without needing a bunch of different tools - it saves money.

Circle has given me the chance to create a space where people feel safe, supported, and truly part of something special.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

At the beginning, it can feel a bit overwhelming for new users, as they might need time to get used to the platform. There are a lot of great features, but sometimes it feels like you might get lost or not use them all right away. I’ve found that demo videos help a lot, and with time, the platform becomes much easier to navigate. Since I’m still fairly new to Circle myself (only 3-4 months in), I’m still discovering all its possibilities, but so far, every feature I’ve explored has been really helpful. It just takes some time to fully adjust, which is totally normal, I think.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle helps me solve the problem of scattered tools by bringing everything I need - course hosting, community management, discussions, online meetings - into one platform. Before Circle, I had to juggle multiple platforms, which was time-consuming and inefficient, and also expensive. Now, everything is streamlined, making it easier to manage my business.

It also helps me build a focused, values-driven community without the distractions of traditional social media. By organizing discussions, tracking course progress, and hosting live meetings, I can keep my members engaged and provide real value. This has allowed me to better support my members, save time and money, and focus more on growing my community and business.

 ### 44. Best Community Solution on the Market!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melody O. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Circle?**

The Knowledge base and customer support is next to none. Everytime I have a question, someone helps me, and it's not a bot.
Plus, they are always growing and adding new features, elements, tools, etc. most recently gamification. Their development is customer driven so we get what we ask for. When something new comes out, they always have a webinar or in another give us updates and support to implement it.
It is always user friendly and questions can be answered weekly in office hours if I get stuck.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

There is so much information available sometimes I get lost in it, even though it is well organized.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Where all my people can gather to receive resources and support from me and from each other.
