# Best Evidence Management software for law enforcement teams managing body-worn camera and video evidence

For agencies whose evidence load is mostly video, body-worn camera footage, surveillance clips, dash cam and traffic camera pulls, a few options on the Evidence Management category page stand out, even though review volume here is still small industry-wide.

HALOS Body-worn cameras with Vault Evidence Management platform (5.0★, 1 review) pairs BWC hardware directly with a cloud evidence system. The sole reviewer, an agency administrator, describes clear video quality plus straightforward case file creation and evidence linking inside Vault, and calls support outstanding. Their main ask: a mute option on the cameras and an automatic safeguard so evidential video can't accidentally expire and get deleted.

iCrimeFighter (5.0★, 2 reviews) lets officers capture photos, video, audio, and notes on a mobile app and push them straight to secure cloud storage. Both reviewers describe it replacing DVD burning and physical evidence handoffs entirely, with one agency now emailing citizens or businesses an upload link to pull surveillance footage instead of driving out to collect a USB drive.

RoadProof Video (5.0★, 1 review) is more specialized: it gives investigators a searchable map of traffic cameras so they can move camera to camera near a crash site to check for footage. The reviewer, in a law practice, calls it especially useful when no dash cam footage exists.

Given how high these ratings run against how few reviews back them, it's worth demoing before committing. What's actually driving the search: BWC integration, mobile capture in the field, or pulling third-party camera footage after an incident?

Honest flag on this one: Axon Evidence is the name most associated with body-worn camera and video evidence specifically, but it currently has zero reviews on G2, so I can't back it with review data even though it's a real, purpose-built product. Omnigo is a real alternative with an actual review base (59 reviews) covering law enforcement evidence and incident management more broadly.
