Great way to continuously monitor your business.  Ease of use and reporting is great!

Not having enough support in the US.  However their technicians are top notch.  Harsh Surti provided outstanding technical support for our Cin7 Omni software. Despite working across Central Time, Harsh remained relentlessly proactive—scheduling calls, sending detailed emails and follow-ups—and resolved a persistent login issue that spanned over a week. His deep product knowledge, patience and clear communication not only got me up and running but also demonstrated the high level of service Cin7 delivers. I’m happy to share this experience on G2 to help others make an informed decision about multichannel retail software.

**What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?**

Bugs, bugs that happen randomly and resolve itself (mostly happening at end of the month), worst onboarding experience. Last year my onboarding specialist left the company in the middle of onboarding, and brought in Baljeet Dhillon. She would not hop on calls or answer questions. basically dodged me until my 2 week free time after go live was complete. Can't send multiple tracking numbers to Shopify, can't send automated emails in Omni. I would hope to get a full onboarding experience to understand the capabilities of the system. We are probably not using all of the features.

Ease of use, customer support - especially from Jean LeMunyon, being able to have face to face service and with a real person who is also will and understanding on wanting to help and teach ways to overcome challenges or restriction like Jean LeMunyon. No AI, an actual lovely human being.

**What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?**

Can get a little lost with all the settings and where to find important permissions to attain full functionality. Be nice to have more frequent check in's each year with Jean Le Munyon. As our business evolves and expands so does our purpose for CIN7 and more access to an established support person would be great for the future.

I like the visvility and flexibility. Harshit Pandey has been super helpful in suppourtiging me navigate the reporting space. This is something I was not aware of at all - he's been able to teach me and help me explore the data i needed on a last minute basis.

I do struggle with the time difference, however in this case with your 24hour CS suppourt i was able to get the help i needed.

It's allowing us to maintain accurate stock levels. We can access the database through the API which allows us to show current stock levels to our buyers on our website. The API also allows us to extract all data so we can manipulate it and create the tools we need for our business.

I find Cin7 very easy to use and when I have a question or an issue, I can easliy get help from them from the chat box, zoom call or articles they posted. Customer Service is wonderful.

When there is an error, I'm not sure what to do so I have to chat them for help.

Harshit Pandey was a wonderful help to me. I told him my issue and he tested and tried other ways to correct the error of Stock Control while I was adding dimentions to items that needed to be imported. He also helped me to change hundereds of products to inactive from a specific company that we no longer use. He was patient and kind and very easy to understand. We worked really well together.

**What do you like best about Cin7 Omni?**

Software is very efficient but whenever you need support, and I've only needed it couple times in my 4years there, there is NONE. I've been here for a long time because it got bought out by Cin7 few years ago.

**What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?**

I have been with a company called DEAR for inventory management, and they got bought out by CIN7. There is absolutely no customer or technical service, support, help - nothing.

Phone? Both numbers: 509-413-**** is busy, and you can't get through. Must not be a working number and 206-580-**** is a general voicemail that goes to neverland.

I used their chat function, and first, it goes to a virtual agent, and then you can connect to a live agent, but you wait for days, and no one ever comes on. I have even created a ticket.

It took them over a week to respond, and they didn't even resolve the issue. When I wrote back, they never responded. I pay over $400 month for this service, and I have never worked with a company that is this incompetent. I need things resolved quickly as it affects our financials, and there is literally NO ONE EVER THERE to email, chat, speak to, so I had to find them on Social Media and comment on their posts to get some answers or responses.

DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTWARE SERVICE. The software might be efficient, but their customer service is HORRIBLE because there is literally no one there.

On their IG page, I actually see a full staff of people on there. I am not sure if they are fake or if that is real because they never respond to anything!

**What do you like best about Cin7 Omni?**

The functionality and the ease of use is definitely the best part of Cin7.

Have all of our operations and accounting processes streamlined has made the day-to-day operations of our business a lot easier to manage. 
Cin7 has also streamlined our daily work flow and reduced the number of touch points for collecting sales.

The training support we received was also excellent - Aman was a great teacher and supported us throughout our journey. He was always available for a last minute meeting and was more than happy to assist with any queries we had. He also tailored our sales order templates to allow us to capture crucial data which was amazing!

**What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?**

The only issue we experienced was not being able to split Woocommerce orders between branches without separating the orders completly. This was something we are working around due to stock issues, but it won't be a problem in the future once our stock levels at each branch are most consistent.

The copy and paste function to import or update the various databases is a dream come true.  No more painstaking data type formatting, just get your data in a simple spreadsheet (hwith the right header values) ctrl+C, ctr+V.  Too easy and makes fixing errors a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?**

Our products import from Shopify using the product options method for colour and size as opposed to the native size grid.  Unfortunately this means our sizes sort alphabetically in the user interface and in reporting.  It would be useful to have a size order translation table somewhere to control this.

Cin7 is easy to learn how to use and the implementation process is relatively straight forward also. The fact they have built it into modules of POs, products etc and interlinked them make the transition easy! I love the API access also as this has allowed us to automate lots of routine tasks internally.

I can think they could benefit from expediting the process of building in customer feature requests

We had significant issues with stock going missing spoilage and overall issues with keeping on top of regular orders and stock. With Cin7, everything is now organised and in a clean format and we have reduced spoilage to <1% per year.

**What do you like best about Cin7 Omni?**

Let's be honest, EVERY system as complex as this is a headache to use and maintain.  So it all comes down to the people behind the scenes, and that's where Cin7 shines.  I've been a customer since 2019, been through ups and downs, and I'm happy to say that I'm very, very happy with Cin7 today.  They system is reasonably easy to use, especially compared to all the available options and it's a great fit for our SMB.  

We NEVER could have scaled our business the way we have without their help.  I've had people that our small business has a level of technology and automation that some $100 million companies would envy!  And that's thanks to Cin7.  We dropship for eight different major department stores, sell across multiple omnichannel marketplaces, and run our own Shopify websites.  With orders coming in from multiple different sources, Cin7 operates as the single source of truth and makes everything work well.  

The only time a human being touches one of our products is when they take it off the shelf at the 3PL and ship it.  EVERYTHING else is fully automated.  We launched on Macy's Marketplace after a relatively lightweight integration project, and the results have been impressive.  There is no way a small company like us could operate the way we do without Cin7.

**What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?**

There isn't much to dislike that isn't common among any compex software provider.  Do things break sometimes?  Of course.  Are there sometimes features or capabilities that don't exist that I wish I had?  Sure.  

But the mark of any good software company is, how do they handle it when something breaks?  And on this point, Cin7 excels and has gotten consistently better over the last several years.  

A few years back, I complained to them that I would "open a ticket" and it wouldn't be addressed in any kind of prompt manner.  They totally owned that weakness and tackled it head on.  Today, if I open a ticket, I get a quick response.  If I have a "Priority 1" emergency, I can get in touch with my Customer Success Manager, Amy, who totall kicks a** and makes things happen.  

I'm very pleased with the team, the software, and the overall customer-centric attitude.  I'm a loyal Cin7 customer.

Just earlier today in fact, I had an urgent problem with an EDI order for a major department store.  I called Amy and she sprung into action.  Even though the problem turned out to be an error on my part, and not a system problem, she took care of it immediately and got me on the phone with Rahul in their EDI department.  Rahul has worked with me on a few different implementations now, and he is friendly, knowledgable and a total pro.  Like I said, it's all about the people when it comes to working with a company like this.

They make complexity workable.  Inventory, sales order flow, COGS tracking, reporting - everything.  I rely on Cin7 for numerous business-critical functions and use it literally every single day.

**What do you like best about Cin7 Omni?**

I quickly get thorough support - great advice, quick fixes, custom fixes, detailed trouble-shooting and enhancement requests. Video calls with shared desktop, screenshots and super freindly support and technical staff.
UI, links and dashboards are user-friendly, intuitive, adaptable/customizable and more or less logical once you undrstand the terminology.
Plug ins for EDI to customers, API to 3PL, Shopify, Markeptlace, Xero Accounting all work out of the box and are easily tweaked and maximised.

**What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?**

Reporting could be improved tho the top line dashboard is good for Execs who like an 8 hour work week.
EDI Dashboards are super functional and easy to act on.
More detailed reporting can be saved with views, tho not selections and exported to excel to manipulate in excel templates - this would be the only area of improvement I'd suggest.

The feature list of Cin7 is very comprehensive and it certainly does what I need it to do. Compared to the competition I like the way Cin7 deals with COG and I like that it can sync with my 3PL. We use Cin7 all the time and it really is the hub of our business process's. When there are issues, the customer support team are very helpful

**What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?**

Its quite a complex software and staff have found it hard to understand, leading to user errors. This means I spend quite a lot of time teaching staff the process of completing tasks.

**What problems is Cin7 Omni solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cin7 manages all our stock, orders and process's needed to manage our wholesale / B2C business. It syncs to our accounting plateform (Xero), our retail website (Shopify) and our 3PL warehouse (Mainfreight). So Cin7 acts as the hub in the middle and is the one peice of software we coudn't live without.

The most important use of Cin7 is managing our co-manufactured product BOMs and inventory. Our company isn't big enough to go to a full ERP but we were beyond a basic order manager. The Cin7 Academy is great for learning and while you are learning you have the ability to create real examples of processes.

**What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?**

For our business the only thing that Cin7 is lacking, is to have the ability to added tiered pricing for vendors. We are keeping a seperate spreadsheet but hoping for that functionality in the future.
I would like the ability to create custom reports in the future. The current setup is great but I sometimes merge 2 reports since they don't have all the data I want on one report. Also for exporting Products, Credit Notes and Sales Orders, would like to be able to save my favorite fields to expedite the exports.

We were able to customise the reporting to suit my retail business and went through an on boarding process which helped to do this.
The suite of reports available is similar to what I used with a highend Oracle system
The team in the retailiness find the PoS functionality easy to use.

Customer Service can be slack at times. Enhancement requests are more likely to be declined by their team.
Learning curve can be quite high.

Getting an good overview of my stock movements, multi-channels orders all flowing into 1 platform to be processed. 
Reports are extremely granular.

**What do you like best about Cin7 Omni?**

Cin7 does a good job adding many of the pieces you may need with a CRM, B2B portal, different pricing tiers on products, syncing with QBO, and inventory syncing across multiple channels. We needed Cin7 for the B2B portal to keep our wholesale business and D2C separate from a reporting and pricing perspective. Cin7 manages this well and manages accurate inventory syncs between our B2B and D2C sales channels. We have also added a few custom fields for better reporting, and Cin7 has been great working with us on those.

**What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?**

There are some quirks surrounding creating new SKUs and ensuring they sync properly, especially when you're adding a child SKU to a parent product. However, Cin7 support is very helpful when resolving these issues.

**What problems is Cin7 Omni solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a way to easily manage different pricing tiers within our wholesale business as well as compared to our D2C website business. Cin7 does an excellent job creating the tiers and making them easy to choose and toggle between when keying in sales orders.

Also, we needed inventory quantities to sync appropriately when selling across multiple sales channels, and Cin7 handles this well for us.

**What do you like best about Cin7 Omni?**

The ability to integrate our stock control in a more exact way - also linking to our e-Commerce function (Woo-Commerce) and our accounting function ( QuickBooks). It is logical and intuitive, but like all software, has processes that you need to get used to and learn - and new practices to embed into the working day - from the product side, linking to Woo-Commerce and the categories and product uploads - it was very easy to use - it linked to Woo-Commerce easily - but has not been without its difficulties in getting things aligned with the accounting software - these are ongoing but we have received good support from our implementation contact, Aman Solanki, who has been helpful, polite and efficitent at all times. We are yet to assess the level of ongoing customer support and its effectiveness, but Aman has been a great help to us. We use it daily - and it has certainly helped to improve our invoicing process and stock awareness - as well as helping with the ease of locating and finding stock.

**What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?**

We have encountered numerous cacheing issues which have meant that the system was not showing the most up-to-date information and data.

**What problems is Cin7 Omni solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping to automate the invoicing process from Woo-Commerce - eliminating the need to copy orders from email into Quick Books and process orders that way - saving time in the process and eliminating most fo the potential for user errors in duplicating orders received in the transfer process.

We really like the wide range of functionality and services that Cin7 offers our business. We use Cin7 as the core cog of our business and find that it covers just about everything that is required. Even for people who aren't so tech savy it is very intuitive and easy to learn.

The single biggest issue Cin7 has is their lack of customer support which seems to have gotten worse over time. We have sometimes had to wait weeks for a response to business critical queries and despite numerous attempsts to express our furstration there doesn't seem to be an acceptance from anyone within Cin7 that they have a major issue in this area.

Cin7 is an all-in-one software that allows us to accept place and dispatch orders, order monitor and track inventory and so much more. We use it for every single aspect of our business and it helps us maintain visibility over whats happening day to da.

Unfortunately the repsone time for open tickets is extrememly delayed, recently we began the process to integrate a new EDI connection and it took almost 5 months to get complete - when we launced the connection there was an error on Cin7's side that needed to be corrected & we couldnt get in touch with anyone and had to back track the EDI connection and now consider a new provider.

We had a hard time finding inventory management software that could handle Amazon Vendor Central accounts. Our main reason for creating an account was to integrate easily with our current customers using EDI. The support team has been excellent in helping us set up our account and answering any questions we may have.

We distribute and wholesale master cartons to our customers. It would be helpful if we could create labels directly in the system. Currently, we only have the ability to create unit labels.

Repetitive administration and paperwork for our order fulfillment process have been eliminated by automating invoicing for our retail customers such as Amazon and Wayfair.

It is easy to navagate and the help desk is quick with any questions I have. The reports are great as they can be saved as PDF and Excel so they can be worked on outside the programe.

I can't make simple changes, I have to ask CIN7 to set them up for me. e.g Having the note in adjustment to show when I print the document. CIN7 had to set this up for me.

CIN7 creats the reports from the data entered and this saves time in creating excel reports manaully outside the programe. As we use the EDi to import the customer orders it saves a graet deal of data entry and minimizes human error for the orders.

The only inventory system that is bundle-friendly, allowing you to create different bundles, and the system will help you accurately reduce the item stock.

The onboarding was very helpful, and they thought we were geniuses, understanding everything in just 10 sessions.

However, Cin7 is challenging to use and lacks user-friendly UX design. Additionally, chat support becomes unavailable after using it too many times.

Moreover, Cin7 may not be suitable for small businesses where one person wears multiple hats. They assume that we can handle everything within 10 sessions, which might not be realistic for small business who have various responsibilities.

With better inventory control and visibility, businesses can minimize holding costs, avoid stockouts, and improve inventory accuracy, leading to reduced wastage and improved overall profitability. BUT if you can understand how to use it.

Cin7 offers many tools for managing stocks, ordering, shipping, and more. That means you can do most of what you need out-of-the-box. I chose Cin7 over its competitors as it needed the least amount of customization.

**What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?**

Something Cin7 can improve on is their support, as now it is purely digital. That being said, their chat and email services are very helpful. Sometimes though, one can use an instant phone conversation. However, this issue isn't exclusive to them. Most of the market is heading this way.

My previous stock management had no synergy between ordering, stock-keeping, and order fulfilment. Cin7 made it seemless to manage all of those steps.

Me and my team find the software very intuative to use and it links easily and efectively with other Aps which is a great adavantage. I find the articles, videos and forum very helpful for support and the New Chat support is superb

The product promotions are very poor and Cin7 have been threatening to improve these for years with zero success. 
The reporting is good but it would be great to be able to format my own reports mnore specifically.

When i started with Cin7 i had four empoyees with a T/O of about £250K  mainly concentrated on local deliveries and  I now have twenty seven  employees with a 20 x increase in T/O selling Online and through a network of Distributors both in the UK and EU and Cin7 has kept pace with all that change.

**What do you like best about Cin7 Omni?**

Cin7 has really helped us scale our business. It is easy to use. I set it up and use it daily. It integrates well with Xero and Shopify. The B2B website helps our customers order by themselves. You can integrate with Amazon FBA and Vendor (EDI) plus allsorts of other Marketplaces. A great product. Cory Sanders has been an absolute star in helping us get all our integrations sorted.

**What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?**

The sometimes slow customer service and issues with integrations not working correctly has been a challenge at times. There used to be a phone number, but that no longer exists. There is live chat which can be very helpful. But, if the representative on the live chat cannot help you have to raise a ticket. Tickets can take anything from a few days to months to be resolved. However, if you get the right person then the help can be amazing. 

Having said that, I would recommend it as a great platform, which is easy to use and get to grips. Make the most of your onboarding process and really test it out so that once you go live everything is known.

Almost all the features an inventory management system should have are there, e.g., products, price tiers, orders, warehouse management, B2B web portal, etc. More advanced features including various batch control, which provides more accurate COGS calculation.

Interface is a little out of date comparing to other SaaS. Support is chat only, although adequate, it can be time consuming, especially when explaining more complicated requirements and issues.

Standarize pricing using price tiers for B2C and B2B customers with various price tiers.
More disciplined inventory control and warehouse management.

Fast customer service, as you know problems arise and speed if of the essence. Had a couple probelms that got solved in a timely manner and with insight from the back end team. Specail thanks to JOYAL.

Compared to other ERP I miss the possibility to cross reference cards, for example bring up a list of items and show in which PO's there are currently used, or in which SO they are "hidden". Still learning the capabilities and would love more hands on training options.

Manufactoring and Inventory, still have to dig into the finacial modul to use the system in its full potential. Automating shipping and receiving as much as possible to free time for WH staff

in the past few month, their support team has started to become very responsive and helpful.  They have finally started to decouple accouting integration from product costing in their system (hopefully it will work well)

**What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?**

the documentation of their APIs do not include much documentation.  It basically mentions the api endpoints and the list of fields with no clues as to which fields are required and which are optional and if you don't want to include a field in the api call, there are no clues as to whether the field can be left out of the JSON data, or if it has to be sent as a null, or an empty sting.  Also, there are no code samples and only a barebones description of the function itself, no details on what possible values can be sent for many fields.

**What problems is Cin7 Omni solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business used to use home grown inventory management along with a folder full of PDF files and several excel documents to track purchases and inventory receipt.
