I am using CHEMIA (Version 4.0.2) from last 3.5 years and I can say it is an excellent tool for ELNB. It’s containing lots of features in it’s dashboard like about experiment (no. of ongoing, submitted, verified, rework, unlock experiment), standalone ATR (pending test, verified test, pending clarification), experiment ATR etc. The beauty of this software is that it is very much user friendly. It is very easy to create an experiment, to write experiment and to submit experiment for verification and approval. It is also very easy to track any experiment and ATR. Another important feature is that you can clone any experiment very easily. This software dramatically reduces huge time that usually takes to write LNB manually. We can create lots of experiments (upto 200) in one book. It has most important feature like audit trial facility. Once an experiment approved you can’t change anything that reduces data integrity issue. Moreover it compliance with 21 CFR. Ultimately it is a very useful application for ELNB. There is no negative points about this tool as this is a perfect reliable tool for ELNB except is that whenever you are opening an experiment its coming in the same window, and if you again looking for another experiment you have to come again in first page and search for other experiments, in my opinion when you opening an experiment it should open as an additional pop up page so that after closing the same we can be able to stay in the initial page from where we have opened the experiment.
