I appreciate checkmk's straight-to-the-point monitoring. Even though the UI may look old, the results show clearly. The agents and SNMP are really effective, making it easy to monitor thousands of services on a wide range of network devices and vendors. Agent downloads in 2.4 are difficult in MSP setups. Hope 2.5 makes it better. Agent downloads via API are from a central site in a distributed setup. It helps to trigger admin like us so that we know if the server is pingable, it also notify us when the file system size reaches certain level of utilization.
