Emburse Expense Professional (formerly Certify Expense) Reviews & Product Details

We decided to invest in Emburse Professional's Emburse Assurance (A.I. feature), and it has improved expense tracking and policy enforcement, especially by those who seem stubborn in wanting to do things the right way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Emburse Professional should consider creating short walk-through videos in addition to the help guides and articles they've created. While I find the help articles to be super helpful, I work in a place full of individuals who simply refuse to read anything and require too much hand-holding. Creating and publishing five-minute videos (because there are too many short attention spans) could alleviate so much manual training I have to provide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Again, like last year, the bothersome survey that is work for me that benefits emburse but I estimate that it doesn't improve the program to any great degree for me. I would prefer a program that is straightforward and consistent over time instead of a constantly changing faster, more automated (and more likely to mis inform because of some misguided programmer) program. Many times, transactions are't synced in a timely manner and will appear on my dashboard up to a week or more after the transaction took place. It will then flag it is late/overdue as if I was intentionally not submitting the expense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The set up was easy, and making changes has always been easy. Giving our people the choice between an app and the website has been nice, too.

Super easy to upload receipts. I can upload them to the mobile app as I receive them and when I return to the office I can at the click of a button add all receipts to my expense report. I am a leader of 15-20 employees who do not have regular expenses or access to company computers. I haven't yet found a good way to reimburse them for mileage without making them start an account. There’s very little to dislike. The only issue I’ve run into was when I tried to upload our company logo and it wasn’t accepted, even though it was the correct file size. That said, customer support were on hand and quickly helped resolve it for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
