&lt;p&gt;The spreadsheet would probably survive longest as the reconciliation layer — tracking retainage releases, approved changes, and what accounting says is billable against what the project team expects. I’d test whether the platform can carry one real contract from schedule of values through progress billing, retainage, change orders, and final release without exporting anything. If it can’t, the spreadsheet hasn’t really been replaced.&lt;/p&gt;
