"ATS with a great job board search technology"

What do you like best?

The ability to search for candidates from different job boards, which has built into the ATS is extremely useful and time-saving. Our recruiters love this feature as they do not need to switch between multiple solutions. their workflows are configurable and easy to change. We also use their career site which is mobile compatible. They also have a wide range of reporting options for us to extract any data we deem useful

What do you dislike?

It is great at engaging old candidates from the pool but the search that it uses to zero in on them could be better. It would also be great if it were a simpler process to make changes to the workflow. Same could be said for the process of extracting reports. All in all, its a stable product and that is a very important factor for us. A more agile approach to solving client issues would also be appreciated by us and their other clients I believe. Sometimes getting work done from their team can take time.

We were looking to set up a centralized repository of our candidates that is more usable in the future. CareerBuilder ATS met all of our selection criteria. Our process is a lot more consistent and we managers now have all the data that they need at their fingertips. Candidates have also benefitted as the platform ensures that now of them fall through the cracks. Most importantly, we can now close positions at a faster rate, while paying less to job boards; both of which were very important for us

"HR's best friend!"

What do you like best?

I like that I can keep track of all of the applications and rank them on the best-fitting. Its so much better than printing and keeping hard copies of everything

What do you dislike?

We get a lot of "junk" resumes and they still make it into the digital "pile"

This is a wonderful tool in the hiring process. It will save you lots of headaches and help you find the right candidate!

"CB ATS"

What do you like best?

Hey, one of the best thing about the Career Builder (CB) is filters, keywords are easy, then location, duration's can be applied as needed, employment VISA status and finally they have "n" number of candidates on Job Board compared to other Job Boards I've used till date. If recruiter knows what to use, how to use, where to use, then that recruiter is winner.

What do you dislike?

Job Board has to filter H1B candidates, as in while somebody is uploading resume to the board i guess they should make it mandatory about the VISA status so that it would be easy for recruiters to filter as needed which saves everybody's time.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Really i would like every recruiting company to use use this Applicant Tracking system (ATS), it's one of the user friendly Applicant Tracking system (ATS) i used till date. One amazing board to board on by all Staffing firm.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Recruiting, "N" number candidates, user friendly, easy to handle in a efficient way, saves time if lucky enough in one shot search string . Job title tab is so helpful while searching, as it gives a option on checkbox which can be used as needed. Location tracking is so easy as it don't need zip code anytime. I would like to mention about Recruiting Edge which is really life saver sometimes because some candidates are available only is edge not on other ATS.You can include related keywords which is really unique compared ro all boards i've used.

"CareerBuilder is really helpful for those that hire using a large network."

What do you like best?

I like that CareerBuilder gives you the ability to find qualified talent in your network and then look beyond your network into your area if you don't have what you need available.

What do you dislike?

It's not as robust as other ATS systems I've seen but it appears to be improving.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I've noticed that we're able to move data from the CB ATS to another ATS using an API and that's been great for our existing customers as well as new clients who want to continue to use both offerings.

"Good portal for interns and non technical resumes"

What do you like best?

I use this job board for non technical requirements and for finding university graduates for entry level positions.

What do you dislike?

Credibility, User interface is also not interesting. Candidates's resumes gets distorted after uploading over it. Also you can't figure out candidates's interests just by looking at the information at this job board like their salary expectations, visa status etc.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It certainly helps recruiting good candidates. sometime you get unique and excellent resume on this board which you can't find over any other platform. Also it serves good profiles for niche skills.

What do you like best?

The best part about career builder is that it keeps you updated with whom has updated their resume.

What do you dislike?

there is not much that i do not dislike about the website.

the layout of the resume includes the time frame of how long the candidates has or was on the job for each position.

"Experience with CareerBuilder"

What do you like best?

Having notifications when any opportunity comes up by inputting all your information on the site

What do you dislike?

It should be linked to linkedin but seems not. If it's linked, it will safe the user a lot of time by not having to input the data

The search capabilities and parameters. Also being able to manage the hiring process from begjnkng to end and customization to the conpany’s needs.

What do you like best?

The fitlering out candidates feature saves tons of time and their resume update notifications.

The junk resumes that don’t apply to what I’m searching for and the resumes I continue to receive once I’ve filled position.

What do you like best?

Ease of use, simple work flow, easy access to candidates, notifications are quick and easy to set up

Cost seems a little high. Companies need to ensure they are utilizing the suite to its full capability in order to achieve maximum ROI
