This means that when I only have spend data, I can use that. But when I have supplier specific LCAs or activity based data, I can use that as well. So it has the flexibility that is essential. One other key factor is that it can be integrated in the Jaggaer supplier management tool to allow for supplier collaboration to get primary data from suppliers. The way suppliers provide that data is also great because they don't need to have their own LCAs or facility measurements, they can update the production and material data within the platform to make it more accurate even if they don't have their carbon data. One thing that was disappointing is the inability to upload your own spreadsheets on a monthly basis. This requires an API which is more costly and not clear upfront. They also don't provide supplier guidance for how to use the platform and provide primary data. This too comes at an additional cost for supplier engagement which was disappointing.
