**What do you like best about Captello?**

Are you ready for an exceptional tool for lead management and nurturing? I would absolutly suggest trying out Captello if you are in the market.  I started by testing it with one of our clients to see how it would work for our organization, and it was the perfect solution we needed. 10/10 Would recommend.

**What do you dislike about Captello?**

We have some reporting issues in very specific circumstances due to some API integratioin issues ( Not on Captello's side ). We are currently working through these issues on our end and  we look forward to the upcoming improvements once everything is complete.

**What problems is Captello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Captello significantly enhances our team's efficiency by being easy to set up and use. It offers excellent reporting capabilities, providing detailed insights that allow us to thoroughly document every aspect of a lead scanned at a trade show. This ensures that we do not have to rely on memory, making our lead management process more reliable and effective.

I like that it is easy to use. I also like that it is integrated with SaleForce. The support from Amanda in getting us up and going was great.

I do not have anything that I dislike about it right now.

In the past, we had to transcribe the business cards we collected and leads from tradeshows. Now we just scan them on our phone and it syncs directly into Salesforce.

**What do you like best about Captello?**

What isn't easy about Captello? I love every lead capture feature this software provides. Captello makes it easy to collect leads by using QR Codes and scanning badges, and I cannot wait to try the interscan (a new feature launched). I also like the monthly videos Captello provides customers so we can learn more about this amazing software.

**What do you dislike about Captello?**

Every time I download my leads it sends me an email notifying me of this action. I am sure I can turn this off, but I have not found the button to do so on my account only, not to affect the team.

**What problems is Captello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to collect leads when attending a tradeshow and following up with these leads. The notes feature is specially important to us so we can quickly reach out to the customers who want to learn more about our products.

**What do you like best about Captello?**

When I took on my new role as Events Manager, I was advised I would need to use Captello to set up Conferenes and Tradeshows for the sales team so they can capture leads when attending the conference. I had never used Captello before and I had personal training by Laura Alin who was wonderful and made the training process so easy and was patient with me answering every question and even running through the process of setting up New Events in Captello. The software is user friendly!

**What do you like best about Captello?**

The Captello Lead Capture Software is an easy-to-use intuitive app that allows our team to quickly capture relevant information from leads at events.  What I like best is the ability to quickly edit or make changes to an event easily without needing an admin or support from Captello.  However, when I have had questions about creating or editing events, Captello support has been excellent.  They are super quick, usually responding within an hour, and have always been able to help me.  Every time I submit a question I think, this time I've got them...I will finally stump Captello support. But no, they always have a solution for me! It's Captello's ease of use and excellent support that make them an easy 10/10 for me.

**What do you dislike about Captello?**

So far, I haven't really found anything that doesn't work or is an issue for us.

**What problems is Captello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Captello lets us easily create events that meet our needs when it comes to lead capture and lead qualification.  It's flexibility and functionality means we can create custom forms that sync with our CRM to properly assign leads.

**What do you like best about Captello?**

Captello's Lead Capture solution delivered and exceeded what was promised during the demo/exploratino phase.

The OCR capture of business cards and speed of integration into badge kits was second to none.

Easy app setup and distribution/adoption by our sales team was seamless and have received great feedback from our internal stakeholders.

It has automated our post-event reporting and allowed us to use the lead scanner outside of just our booth.

**What do you dislike about Captello?**

There has not been anything that I have disliked about the solution nor or the customer support I've received.

**What problems is Captello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to capture leads wherever our commercial teams are traveling to before, during, or after event. It has also streamlined/automated the process of getting the leads and notes into our CRM.

**What do you like best about Captello?**

Having used various lead capture software Captello offered solutions that addressed user needs like group scan capture and being able to integrate with our CRM in real time is a real plus for our efficiency in following up on show leads. The onboarding and customer service from Captello has been stellar to myself and our team. Input from our sales team onsite has been extremely positive and compliments from sales is not an everyday occurence.

**What do you dislike about Captello?**

As a reletively new client haven't really found anything yet. They have shown an openess for input and are continously looking to improve the software.

**What problems is Captello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Real time information going into our CRM for quick response. 
We are able to rate and priortize interactions in our show surveys.
Group scan was a complaint we are now able to address.

There are many different ways to use Captello at a marketing event. It's useful because you can make changes to your application in real time and your staff can benefit from the customizations on site in real time. Additionally, the app allows for you to send additional information to your leads on the spot! Best of all it communicates seamlessly with your CRM!

Nothing really. Great App for marketing events.

It's cutting down the turnaround time between when we capture the lead and get it to our CRM. It also allows our staff to scan business cards and keep track of our leads. Users can also voice record a recap of their customer interaction and their notes are transcribed! It's solving so many gaps we previously had with other solutions.

The Captello team makes onboarding the platform incredibly easy, taking time walk through each step needed. Documentation is easy to follow, and all of our users were able to quickly download and intuitively leverage the lead capture.

It's a robust platform, so it can feel overwhelming when first jumping in, but the onboarding and account management teams offer world-class support.

**What do you like best about Captello?**

The web and app are simple to use with tons of customization available to suite my needs across a variety of tradeshows both large and small. I wasn't with the company when we selected Captello, but over the last year and half it has fallen under my domain, and I don't foresee any reasons to switch providers. We attend about 5 shows a year, and each time the Event/Dev team handle my form setup quickly with straightforward communication. I also credit our success in 2024 to working closely with our Customer Success Rep, Jessica Couture. Everytime I come to her with a vague, wishlist feature, she knows exactly what I'm looking for and walks me through the set up process. She even met with my event team to teach them Badge Scanning/Captello 101 which was a huge help. 

With increased booth staff training and taking advantage of barely all that Captello offers, my team hit our annual lead goal under 5 months. I recommend Captello to any Event Coordinator or Growth Specialist looking to capture more qualified leads.

**What do you dislike about Captello?**

Not really a downside, but there are so many choices when it comes to the forms. Checkboxes, lists, flagging, audio notes, selfies, etc etc that I would not know where to start without the guidance of our rep.

**What problems is Captello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Captello allows my booth staff (comprised of engineers, sales members, customer support reps, and marketing) to quickly capture potential customer information. With the ability to add notes and photos while on the show floor, it makes the follow-up the next week so much more organized and strategic in who we approach first. We use Hubspot as our CRM, and exporting lists from Captello to HS is quick and painless.

One of the standout features of Captello is its ability to clearly communicate our daily schedules to the entire team. Whether we're at trade shows, industry events, or any other customer touchpoint, the software ensures that everyone stays aligned with the day’s tasks. This has significantly boosted our operational efficiency, ensuring no one misses critical follow-ups or interactions.

The integration process with our CRM was remarkably smooth. The Captello team was not only responsive but also proactive in making sure our data from trade shows and other events was easily captured and transferred into our CRM. This has drastically improved our lead management process, reducing manual entry and errors.

The software is incredibly user-friendly. Even team members who aren't tech-savvy found the platform easy to navigate.

At times, the reports don't fully align with our specific metrics, and more customizable options would allow us to tailor the output to our exact needs. But there are easy work arounds!

Captello is fairly easy to use and the support team is amazing. They provide 24/7 access to support and are very quick to respond. The platform's services help in the field by collecting leads and effectively turning results into data points.

**What do you dislike about Captello?**

There are a lot of steps in effectively setting up your account and being trained on the platform. This is not a quick process. Make sure you have adequate time set aside to learn and train on the platform.

Captello is helping our team quickly capture and archive leads in the field. Instead of picking up a physical business card, we are able to scan it and then it is stored away for later. This software is very beneficial for sales agents on the go, executives at an event, tabling at a conference, and everything in between. We have also purchased additoanl software EventGen. This powerful resource collects data and using tracking software for events, badge creation, and streamlines pre and post conference communication.

**What do you like best about Captello?**

Our company utilizes Captello for lead scanning purposes for every major event we have. Captello makes it simple to capture leads at tradeshow events and it was very easy to implement our associates onto the app. With the badge scanning and businiess card scanning features, it has saved us time as visitors names, company, and email addresses are automatically captured within the app. We also enjoy the connect on LinkedIn feature, once you capture a lead on the app you have the option to connect with that person on LinkedIne click of a button. Not to metnion, the customer service support is incredible. If we have a question, the support team answers the same day! We also attend the monthly user group sessions online where Captello discusess multiple product updates/ goes into a deeper dive into certain features.

Sometimes not every email is caputred automatically so our associates have to manually enter in fields.

**What problems is Captello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Captello is saving our associates time by automoatically captuing leads for us! We don't have to manually put in leads into a spreadsheet as Captello does that for us and we integrate our Captello lead list into a Salesforce campaign.

**What do you like best about Captello?**

I have used many different lead captuer software over my career. I have found the Captello system to be the easiest to navigate and set up. We have trained numerous team members on how to use the software and everyone has learned quickly. I also like that we can make changs to the software and push an update in real time. The reporting we get during and after the show have been really useful as well.

**What do you dislike about Captello?**

The downside to using Captello, but it isn't a Captello issue, is the cost that shows are charging for the API Developer kit. It does make for a harder sale when we are working with our clients to implement the solution. I do, however, like the business card scanning capability with translation which works well for smaller events.

**What problems is Captello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Captello Lead Capture Software is allowing us to pre-set our lead capture form, plan well in advance and train our staff. This saves time as we get clsoer to the show. I also do like to look at the year-over-year data comparing the number and quality of leads.

We absolutely love Captello Lead Capture! It has been incredibly easy for our team to adopt, and it has brought much-needed consistency to all of our events. Since implementing Captello, we’ve more than doubled the number of leads we capture at each event, which has been a huge game-changer for us.

The system is so user-friendly, making it easy for our team onsite to collect leads and even easier for us to reconcile the data afterward. One of our favorite features is the digital literature option—it’s been a great way for us to stay eco-friendly while still sharing valuable content.

The quick lead capture, note-taking capabilities, and lead scoring system have made everything so much more streamlined. We couldn’t be happier with the results—Captello has truly transformed how we manage lead capture at events. Highly recommend!

The software is very robust with the ability to set up an event or lead gen specific to our needs.

Because of how robust it is, there is a learning curve to make sure we get everything set up correctly.

**What problems is Captello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Because our client attends multiple events, the ability to ask all the same questions in the same platform is very valuable. It's not the best experience to have to navigate a new vendor platform for each event and train the sales team. Captello allows us to use the same or similar survey and platform every event. In addition, the ability to plug in to Pardot is very important.

Captello is the best lead capturing application I've ever had the pleasure of working with. The amount of options, features, functions and variety of tools is astounding. My favorite part is that they allow you to create separate stations for each area that you are trying to capture data with, and then you can customize those stations as much or as little as you like. 

Captello is so easy to use, so seamless and we hardly need to train our associates to utilize it onsite becuase it's so INTUITIVE! 

I now consider lead management to be an asset to our activations, and no longer a burden to manage, simply due to the fact that Captello has made the process enjoyable :-)

There are sooo many functions to use, sometimes it's overwhelming. But the search function for help has been a lifesaver.

Captello is seamlessly integrating our data into Salesforce, which is so beneficial to us. The ease of use in downloading and utilizing the mobile app is fantastic.

**What do you like best about Captello?**

I thoroughly researched and vetted universal lead capture software companies over a period of 2-3 months. They were all pretty impressive, but Captello stood out from the competition. They checked ALL the boxes and have clearly thought of everything, BUT would they deliver on customer support which was of the utmost importance to me? You never really know until you enter into a partnership how that will truly be. As the primary Admin of this software for our company, I am thrilled to say that Captello has exceeded my expectations! I could not be happier or more impressed. What makes this even sweeter? Our sales team members that have used it so far are loving it! That has been music to my ears. By the end of 2024, we will have participated in over 30 trade shows and events. Captello was launched in August and there is no doubt in my mind that we will end the year much stronger with this amazing tool at our fingertips than we would have without. Can't wait to see the results that a full year from start to finish gives us in 2025!

I have nothing for the dislike column as of yet. I have given suggestions on a couple of minor things ("it would be nice if..."), and they have only been met with enthusiasm and appreciation. I feel confident that they take my feedback seriously.

The Sales Team experienced many pain points when we were at the mercy of the event organizer for lead retrieval options. Sometimes they didn't offer any options. Even when they do, they can be glitchy and learning and adopting something new each time was a pain and a distraction. This streamlines everything AND gives us instant access to our leads. There's so much more. It's amazing.

We've been using Captello for over 8 months now, and it has truly transformed how our marketing and sales teams capture and manage leads. The platform is user-friendly, making it easy to customize lead capture forms and automate follow-ups, which has significantly streamlined our processes.

Our team especially loves the integration with our CRM, allowing us to track and nurture leads seamlessly from the first point of contact to conversion.

Captello is extremely user friendly, intuitive, and quick.  It has fantastic features such as the ability to go see and edit leads in real-time and conditional formatting which shortens time it takes to capture a lead as only relevant fields populate.  The Customer service is stellar too.  :-)

I really cannot fault Captello.  The only thing I could say is that it can do many things and for a new user like myself, navigating the backend is not always obvious but I'm getting better and the support team is always extremely helpful in pointing me in the right direction and answering all my questions.

Our biggest challenge has always been the number of mandatory fields for leads to qualify for SFDC upload.  Captello solves this issue with conditional formatting and how the talk-to-text is instantaneous.  Having the option to go back and update your leads has also been extremely well-received.  User feedback since we've started using Captello has been so positive.  Such a pleasure!

Like with any tool, there is a learning curve when first getting started, but Captello is very easy to pick up and start using in a short amount of time. Designing on the backend of a capture form is not only easy, but there are a multitude of options and features to integrate if you so choose. Possibly more important, on the end user side, the ease of use and implementation made it so everyone both on our staff, and public facing, could navigate the forms without any issue. On top of it all the Captello support & success team working to ensure our event ran smooth was top notch. They walked us through set up, answered questions, and went above and beyond to deliver on our specific needs.

**What do you dislike about Captello?**

We are ecstatic with our success rep-- we couldn't have asked for a better partner to ensure things ran great. On the connection side-- specifically with Salesforce, the reps we spoke to could have been better. They didn't always seem understanding or receptive to either what we were asking or troubleshooting problems. When they needed to teach us aspects of a connection or something deeper than what our rep was able to on her own, their instruction was dense, not well formulated, and not well communicated.

Captello is giving us an easy to use in the field lead capture option for tradeshows that directly integrates into Salesforce when that add on connection is purchased. For us, a company that has been operating in North America for 50 years, the reception was that Captello's capabilities catapulted us lightyears ahead of where we've ever been when it comes to event lead capture. Even our most seasoned staff, who have been with the company with decades, and are accustomed to a very "old school" way of doing things, were able to quickly learn how to use the Captello software. Captello is a game changer for us.

**What do you like best about Captello?**

It is great to use the same lead capture software at every show, as opposed to picking from one or more options provided. Consistency allows for better training and less room for error. It is also helpful for us to have the immediate and constant sync with our database directly. Having a contract and relationship with one vendor that meets our needs allows for better data transfer, instead of working with different companies to get out data uploaded each show.

Where lead capture is not my main focus for my role at all it is nice to have Captello improving the process and working with us regularly.

Lead capture is a tricky process, and is often frustrating. My issues are often just with the lead capture process, and not with Captello directly.

It provides a versatile, user-friendly solution for smaller shows that do not typically offer lead retrieval rental. The host of features and components, alongside conditional logic, help me build lead capture forms that match our lead intake and sales processes. The ability to immediately send documents to booth visitors is a tremendous boon that ensures we're not being beaten to the punch by competitors who are also exhibiting at the event. The onboarding support has been stellar.

The many components can be difficult to really grasp at first. Additionally, several features live in different places so there can be a lot of jumping back and forth between areas of the platform to completely set up an event and/or form.

A reliable lead capture solution for smaller events that do not offer lead retrieval rental/licensing. Previously, we would have to rely on staff to physically collect and transcribe business cards before they could be entered as leads. The digital literature library ensures we have everything we need at every show, without the expense of printing and shipping documents. Our team especially loves Captello when we are integrated with the show badge services, as manual entry is cumbersome and seemingly fewer tradeshow attendees have physical business cards to scan. The new Intelliscan feature is going to help us overcome those obstacles.

We have used Captello for the last 2 years at a couple of tradeshows, most notably RSNA, and it is by far the best lead capture tool I have ever used. It is easy and intuitive, and I love that you can connect directly with other conference attendees.

It would be nice to be able to re-assign stations after a lead is submitted, for those cases where you mistakenly enter in the wrong station. It would also be nice if more fields were auto populated, but I understand that this may not be in Captello's control.

Captello's lead capture software allowed me to build the on-site experience at our annual conference to the exact vision our team had in mind. I am so impressed with the ease of use and scope of the Captello set-up. Every time we had a new idea we were able to incorporate it into our design, without complication. I would highly recommend Captello, both for their comprehensive and easy-to-use product and their extremely helpful and creative support team.

**What do you dislike about Captello?**

I think one downside of being so versatile is that I faced "decision paralysis" several times when considering the design and user experience of our activations. I would love if there was a library of examples to reference how all of the options can be used.

We primarily used Captello to reinvigorate and simplify our event gamification. For years we used the old "collect the stickers" model to drive traffic in our expo hall and wanted a solution that incorporated digital elements and reduced the paper-use and upkeep for staff on-site. We loved being able to tell our sponsors that we could provide direct lead gen for the folks that visited their booth.

**What do you like best about Captello?**

Captello was quite simple to get up and running, they provided support every step of the way and the UI in incredibly intuitive. We didn't have any learning curves and were able to jump right in. I like that there is online support 24/7, when we encountered any issues while onsite or configurations we were still getting familiar with the captello team was able to fix it in real-time. This is crucial for events and follow-up measures onsite to ensure everyone is able to interact with the prodcut in their preferred method -- either mobile or desktop. The voice chat feature in the form is a great bonus for capturing notes without having time to type it all in if preferred. We also love the easy customization for branding and the 'instructions' feature that pops-up when our team opens the event in the app -- we store a lot of commonly asked questions there and it's helped field a lot of onsite assistance.

**What do you dislike about Captello?**

It would be much easier if the API integration with show lead scanning solutions to be a simple input field in the form setup instead of having to navigate to a separate page and submit a form that could take a few days for completion. It's not a hindrance but just not as convenient a process as we've experienced in the past. The manual input could also include a linkedin connection send or collection of profile, we find that people don't have their business cards on them at all times or the badges at shows don't always have the person's title or company and therefore the manual scan option doesn't help much at all and it goes unused for smaller trade shows that do not provide an API integration for their scanning solution. We tend to attend a large amount of smaller shows where we run into this and therefore we underutilize our Captello licenses.

It's been one year now that Medtronic started its collaboration with Captello. The Captello lead capture system has been an absolute game-changer for our business! From its intuitive interface to its robust functionality, every aspect of this platform is designed with the user in mind. Captello is an all-in-one digital lead capture solution that is much more than just lead capture.

Captello is feature-rich, so you can tailor it to meet your specific use case. That also means there's a bit of a learning curve to dial everything in.

**What problems is Captello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We did not have an easy way to ingest leads into our CRM and many leads were captured on paper lead slips, never made their way into the CRM. Captello has eliminated these issues and we are now capturing 100% of the leads that visit our booth and MQLs are synced with our CRM and immediately added to a nurture campaign. With our old lead capture tools we lost hundreds of leads annually that marketing was unable to nurture, so Captello has been a big win for post-event nurture of prospects.

Sabrina is our Captello Project Manager, and she has helped us reduce the implementation time and maximize our use of the tool. While the software is great, Captello really delivers on support to ensure you get as much value as possible from the tool.

The Captelllo team is very customer centric, espectially with implementing customer feedback. We have requested many updates/improvements to the app, and that feedback has been taken seriously. We are seeing many of our request in 2025 roadmaps which earns our trust.

Our end users (on site sales/marketers) experianced a less than ideal UX exerpiance when scanning customers. Our teams are asking for less clicks to capture customers at events. The upcoming updates seem to address these concerns.

Sales is able to enter as much information as they'd like to increase likelihood of converting prospects into new customers. Utilizing the mobile app enables leads to be entered when offline and easily edit once captured. Features are available such as business card and QR scanners to further streamline the information entry process. Captello provides an account management team for support whenever issues arrise. The support team hosts regular calls with clients to review business needs and further customize solutions.

Certain Captello event licenses are limited by the number of days that events can be opened, which sometimes requires extensions for entries to be added once events close.

Captello solves the issue of being offline at busy trade shows with limited internet connectivity. The mobile app does not require cell or internet connection when entering leads which was helpful for multiple events, including international. We enjoyed that the app was easy to use and that we can custimze the fields the way that we would like.  We liked that  we were able to send an email right to our customers after we scan their badge with a thank you email that provided links of the products they saw.  The turnaround time with getting back to us with answers to our questions was great and the fact that their is customer support available 24/7.  We enjoyed the app and our considering having other markets use this app.

The dislikes come from the back in which we were not happy with the switching between envirnments (prod/sandbox) in that we have to rebuild fields when we switch between environments.  Also the mobile apps inability to authenticate via SSO.

That it has helped us capture leads faster.

**What do you dislike about Captello?**

Every time we have a show with lead scanning, I have to purchase an API kit that costs between $700 -$1200. It's become costly.

**What problems is Captello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having all our leads from events go into one place which makes it easier for the reps. It's saving time on manually uploading leads.

**What do you like best about Captello?**

They provide good onboarding and training support for new users.

**What do you dislike about Captello?**

We have had ongoing issues with Captello since we started working with them. For our first show, the chat feature was not working properly, and was never fixed in time. The last show we attended, however, provided to be a complete failure on the Captello side as their technology did not facilitate scanning of badges using Aztec coding. Several other competitors had no issues capturing leads, and we were left needing to purchase multiple mobile licenses from another provider in order to capture leads. I have also been informed that Captello has been notorious for having these issues at numerous events, and we are just another victim of false advertising. I wish I had known about these issues prior to signing with them.

**What problems is Captello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When it is working, Captello allows for real-time lead capture and processing to our CRM systems.

In regard to the issues you highlighted, we’d like to provide some clarity. You mentioned difficulties with the chat feature at your event. It’s important to note that this feature relates to our 3rd party support ticketing system, not the Captello app itself. We regret any confusion that this might have caused and are committed to making sure our clients can access the help they need.

Regarding the QR code scanning issue, we understand how frustrating it was for you. The registration provider used at your event employs a rare form of Aztec coding, which is not commonly used at the vast majority of events we support. Less than 0.05% of the nearly 10,000 shows we’ve facilitated involve this specific provider. Despite this, our team worked closely with you to provide alternate methods to capture leads during the event, and we
regret that these solutions were not utilized.

We also want to let you know that we’ve listened to the feedback and have made updates to our app. A new version, which enhances our ability to support a wider range of QR code formats, including the rarely used Aztec codes, will be rolling out within the next week. We’re confident this update will help prevent similar issues in the future.

Your onboarding process was also completed in just 12 business days, under a compressed timeline. While we understand that this added pressure, our team remained committed to ensuring the system was operational in time for your event. We encourage all our partners to thoroughly test the software in advance, and while we faced challenges, our goal was always to provide a successful experience.

Finally, our Client Success Manager reached out several times following the incident, but communication was unfortunately limited - with phone calls and emails unreturned. We value our partnerships and always aim to foster collaboration to achieve the best outcomes.
