Captello's gamification is a great way to add a fun element to an event and increase ingagement in an event app.

It is not the most user friendly, however the Captello team is more than willing to take feedback and help adjust the platform to better fit your needs.

Captello is adding an interactivity through gamification that we did not previously have.

**What do you like best about Captello?**

As someone who has used multiple lead retrieval platforms for over 20 years, I have a somewhat jaded view of customization, support, and usability claims. Let's just say I"m wary about the hype. 

Captello Lead Capture software smashed my preconceptions. The support was personal and responsive, the software extensive and customizable, and the User Interface clean and accessible. It did everything we needed it to do and things we didn't realize we needed until then. If you have a modest to extensive trade show or event schedule, then Captello is the right choice. Don't default to the show lead retrieval software. It's adequate at best and usually frustrating. Plus, you're paying a per-device fee. 

With Captello, you can have as many devices as you want at no extra cost, which is a god-send on the show floor. Everyone can use their phone or use a monitor or tablet. Whatever is more convenient. 

You've already invested a considerable sum to participate in the trade show. You're there to increase business, talk to prospects, and capture their information for the sales team. Captello is designed to make that process effortless. It even has a nifty voice capture feature to record detailed notes. No more two-thumb typing into a tiny keyboard. Just record the details. Your sales and marketing team will LOVE YOU for this.

**What do you dislike about Captello?**

The software is deep and highly customizable, making it ideal for dialing in all the features you might want. However, I wouldn't recommend diving in without the assistance of the Captello support team. They'll save you considerable time by guiding you through the process. Schedule an appointment. They're great about taking as much time as you need and very responsive if you have questions, even when on the show floor.

**What problems is Captello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our booth traffic is almost always hectic at trade shows, especially on the first day. Frankly, it's often overwhelming. Captello Lead Capture Software made that process easier since everyone could use their device for capturing leads. Entering additional information was fast, and we could email our sales literature directly from the software. We also created multiple post-visit emails depending on the company and their role within the company. These emails were sent automatically once we saved the lead. It was not uncommon for attendees to return to our booth the next day and thank us for sending the information and the follow-up email.

**What do you like best about Captello?**

I love how its user friendly on both the back end and front end of the software. It has allowed our company to collect and review leads in minutes. Before Captello, it would take 2-3 weeks to input all show leads into Salesforce. Now, All leads are integrated into Salesforce within 5-10 minutes of being captured.

**What do you dislike about Captello?**

Coding was required for a UTA connection (sandbox) to Salesforce. The lead liason documents could provide more detail. There was no way to search for what we were looking for. Everything was outdated (classic salesforce images)

**What problems is Captello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to collect more information when leads are captured. We can also integrate the leads into our CRM way faster, leading to quicker follow-up after shows.

**What do you like best about Captello?**

Marketo offers many pre-built integrations via their Launchpad - however, Captello was not one of them. In the past, my experience with any custom Marketo integrations that were not native to the platform has been stressful, to say the least! That is not the case with Captello's Marketo integration! The integration process involves connecting the systems using APIs, which allow data to flow seamlessly between them.  Although this requires some technical expertise, the process, setup, and implementation are very straightforward, and anyone with minimal Marketo administrative experience can do it. Integrating Captello with Marketo has enabled us to engage with our customers more effectively, track customer behavior at the booth, personalize our event experience, analyze the performance/effectiveness of each event, and all-around optimize our marketing efforts.

**What do you dislike about Captello?**

There have been some issues with the transcription services for non-English speaking countries. Quality has been compromised in the data in the past - and each issue we have brought to the Captello team directly. We continue to work thru the issues as they arise and are noticing improvement gradually. We hope to eventually resolve the transcription issue entirely.

**What problems is Captello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving time with automation! Before Captello, all tradeshow booth attendees were manually entered after the show had ended. Depending on volume and when the leads were received from the show lead vendor, it could take up to 14 days before leads were in the relevant sales persons hands! Captello has cut out the manual process, getting leads to sales hands the same day!

We are an Environmental company; sustainability is one of our top initiatives - Captello allowed us to reduce/eliminate our paper waste from having to send literature to the show floor by allowing us to upload all appropriate literature to the platform digitally. This saves us money on printing and shipping costs, reduces paper waste, and the tool allows us to have insight on which documents were downloaded - data we did not have before.

Convenient - having the Captello app downloaded to your device, allows our team to capture leads literally anywhere not just the tradeshow booth, i.e. airport, restaurant, elevator, hotel etc.

Easily integrates with our marketing automation platform, Marketo - allowing us to include event engagement in our scoring and lead nurturing capabilities.

Captello is by far the market leader in Universal Lead Capture. The solution has incredible, intuitive functionality that makes capturing leads a breeze. From onboarding to support our experience with Captello has been a dream. 
When searching for a provider we were looking for a solution that was flexible, scalable and able to integrate with our CRM. Captello ticked all the boxes

Nothing! Great team, responsive support team. We have seen a great improvement is response times over the year. Captello are investing in global support which is great as we are based in the UK

**What do you like best about Captello?**

We partnered with Captello to offer a Scavenger Hunt activation for our conference attendees to help drive show floor traffic to various waypoints, and they also provided a digital photo booth application where attendees could post selfies and network with others at the event. Our attendees enjoyed seeing their names on the interactive leaderboard displays across the show floor, as well as the networking icebreakers, and it all integrated seamlessly with our show app and met our branding requirements. Brad and Ryan were tremendous partners and helped guide us every step of the way, from setup to execution. We look forward to partnering with Captello for lead capture and interactive gamification at our future events - they were a pleasure to work with, and our attendees loved it!

We didn't find anything to dislike about their software or their team - they have become trusted partners, and we look forward to working with them in the future!

What I like best about Captello is how easy it is to set up my custom lead forms. I also love that it can be used to scan business cars or with manual input. Not every show has an electronic lead capture.

**What do you dislike about Captello?**

My only dislike doesn't have to do with Captello directly- some trade shows have API kits that are just too expensive to warrant the purchase due to the conference size. When I come across a costly API my budget may not allow the use of Captello.

Consistency in the data we are putting into our CRM's. It also allows me to reach my customers immediatly after I have scanned a  badge with the information they are requesting.

Captello is quick and efficient once set up. The SalesForce integration has really made a difference in the follow up time for our sales teams post event.

They are a small company and customer service can be a bit slow at times. Limited professional services to help build.

Captello and the SF integration is cutting down the amount of time it takes our teams to upload the leads - essentially cutting out that step.

I like that it is an all in one platform in which I can manage my CRM, marketing, events, leads, registration, every thing! The second best is the team and customer service. It's the best out there

**What do you dislike about Captello?**

I think there needs to be a bit more integrations into other platforms. Right now zapier is the best option but of course that comes with added expenses for us users

Its universal! If the event doesnt support my lead system I can use the badge scanner or business card reader and automatically add to where they need to go

Nothing to dislike because we get many features with the current pricing. Api and zapier integration comes with the additional cost. If inhouse zapier can be build that will reduce down the cost will he great

Using Captello is easy to set up and integrate between our CRM/CMS along with ease of use for our teams capturing the information. Previous lead captures were clunky and limited.

I have yet to find any downside to using Captello as they are continuously improving and upgrading the user experience and features.

It is customizable and easy for my show teams to use. I also love that it allows us to share electronic pdfs to visitors' inboxes eliminating paper.

The only thing I struggle with is the resource library. It's not easy to find what I'm looking for so I don't have to reach out to the help desk.

I really can't think of downsides other than shows that don't have developers kits. But, that's not Captellos fault.

I like the ease of creating reports - it is simple and anyone can use it even the non techy Sales reps

**What do you dislike about Captello?**

My one complaint is that you have to pay 25 cents per business card for their team to fill it out and capture it. Although if you do it yourself it is free

It has streamlined our lead capture program. Now we do not need to get different services for every show. We get one service that is easy to use for all Sales Reps
