What I liked best was how little I had to learn or change on my end. I knew nothing about automation and honestly didn’t even want to try it because it felt completely foreign to me. All I had to do was record a video of myself doing my normal payroll process and talk through the steps, the little rules, the things that annoyed me, and all the details I normally keep in my head. That was especially important because my payroll has so many specific rules that I never felt comfortable handing it off to someone else. Build Simpul was able to learn the process from that, ask me the remaining questions it needed for clarification, and remember those details going forward. I basically had to explain my process once instead of learning a new system or repeatedly explaining how my business works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Build Simpul? My biggest dislike is honestly that I didn’t know something like this could be this easy sooner. I wasted so much time doing things manually because I assumed automating a process this specific would be complicated. The only real downside was that there was some upfront time needed to explain and clarify all of my payroll rules, but once that was done, I didn’t have to keep explaining them. Now I want to look at the rest of my business processes the same way. This genuinely changed how I think about the work I shouldn’t have to be doing myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Build Simpul: Do it now. I genuinely wish I had done it sooner. The amount of time I’ve gotten back has made such a difference in my life and my business. Don’t be discouraged if you’re a business owner who isn’t very organized or if AI and automation sound too technical. I felt exactly that way, and this was incredibly simple. I explained how I actually work once, answered a few questions, and the system was built around my process. As a salon owner, I’ve tried so many different software platforms and still have multiple subscriptions because no single system does everything I need. My business also has very specific workflows that normal software doesn’t accommodate. What was different about Build Simpul was that I didn’t have to change the way I work to fit another platform—they built the system around the way my business actually works. If there’s a repetitive part of your business that you dread doing, I would absolutely recommend starting there. I only wish I had done it sooner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Build Simpul solving and how is that benefiting you? Payroll used to take me hours every week. It involved multiple repetitive steps, pulling information from different places, calculating everything by hand, double-checking it, and then submitting it. It was slow, stressful, and there was always the worry that I might have made a mistake. Now the process is essentially automated for me. Everything is organized in one place, and I can see the documentation behind the numbers so I can verify everything before approving it without having to redo the work myself. Payroll used to be something I literally had to plan my week around, and now it is basically off my plate.
