## About BugHerd
BugHerd makes it easy for clients to leave website feedback. They simply point, click and comment - BugHerd grabs a screenshot, saves technical details and creates a task for your team to track. It's a simple tool for clients to use without requiring them to create accounts or log in. BugHerd website feedback & bug reporting tool is ideal for teams that build websites, including: - Agencies - Web Developers - Web Designers - Project Managers - QA/UA Testers - Marketing Professionals - Content Creators One of the key differences between BugHerd and other platforms is that users pin their comments directly on live webpages. This makes it easy to show exactly where feedback or issues are. This is a huge benefit when collecting feedback from multiple clients or stakeholders as they can see the feedback that's already been given and avoid duplication. All feedback automatically comes with a screenshot and technical details such as browser, URL, operating system, etc; and each comment is transformed into a trackable task on an inbuilt Kanban board, enabling teams to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently. BugHerd also has deep two-way integrations with all project management tools such as ClickUp, monday.com, Asana, Trello, Jira, and more; as well as supporting integrations with collaboration tools like Slack & Microsoft Teams, and developer tools like GitHub. BugHerd also has a fully featured API and Webhook support enabling custom integrations with any application. This allows teams to manage their workflow without disruption, ensuring that feedback is incorporated into existing processes. By centralizing feedback and task management, BugHerd not only improves team efficiency but also contributes to higher client satisfaction, as clients see their suggestions implemented in a timely manner. ## BugHerd Reviews
 ### 1. Its a nice way to tackle tasks from the client one by one

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gerardo V. | Web developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

Tasks and locations for every issue someone sees and it a god way to see what done and whats left. It also nice being able to leave comments on every task in order to communicate better.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

I can think of anything now, probably the amount of notifications i get from email or that if someone is added they can see everything.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Im not keeping up to date to what they are solving but they are doing what i need.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Thanks for sharing your review of BugHerd, Gerardo. We really appreciate your lovely words.

Also, feel free to turn the email notification off, if they're getting overwhelming. https://support.bugherd.com/hc/en-us/articles/204171650-When-are-email-notifications-sent-

 ### 2. Vital tool for our digital marketing agency.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate L. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

I find the screenshots that capture a visitor's user experience when each bug is dropped to be one of the most valuable features. This has helped us identify when the issue is simply caching, or if it's something that does need to be addressed. Tags, assignees, and priority level indicators all help communication and coordination.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

I would like BugHerd to integrate directly with our project management software to automatically create tasks for our production team to take care of. Streamlining our operations platforms to one place of visibility would help minimize small details falling through the cracks.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The most common use for BugHerd is making minor updates to a staging site before it's published. We have also realized that it's a helpful tool for regular maintenance and improvements on client websites.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Hi Kate,

Thanks so much for taking the time to write such a great review of BugHerd. Glad to hear it's helping with website builds and also maintenance.
We're currently working on some direct integrations, so will keep you posted with what's coming.

Cheers,
Merrin

 ### 3. I work as a Learning Experience Designer in an EdTech company.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

So easy to work with it. Simple and interactive.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

Sometimes it doesn't work as it supposed to be. It needs some enhancements (I guess it's the plugin/extension problem - I use Chrome).

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Actioning QA tickets on spot.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Hi,

Thanks for sharing your review of BugHerd, we really appreciate it.

Please feel free to share any thoughts around the needed enhancements or any issues you might be having to support@bugherd.com and we'll take a look.

Thanks again, so glad you're finding BugHerd easy.

Cheers,

 ### 5. BugHerd has streamlined our client review/feedback process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesse G. | Chief Creative Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

I like that it's easy for clients to use and that they can mark specific points with screenshots. This helps in specific browsers and screen break points.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

The extension doesn't work directly in the Brave browser. So if I am going to make comments I have to open Chrome

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're solving a lot of the back and forth that happens with clients and the endless rounds of review. We give them an allotted time to make their comments, once they're done we go through and complete them.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Hey Jesse,

Thanks for your review of BugHerd - always happy to hear it's helping streamline client feedback!

As far as working on Brave - the extension will work, but you do need to allow cookies and some other things (which possibly defeats the reason for using Brave in the first place). Drop us a line at support@bugherd.com if you want more info on getting it running.

Cheers,
Merrin

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

- simple to use
- helps to see what the other person sees with screenshots
- our clients love it, great for copy updates and bug solving
- we used excel before and it was terrible when you tried to locate what each point was referring to
- QA now takes far less time

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

- sometimes it doesn't capture screenshot

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- we used excel before and it was terrible when you tried to locate what each point was referring to
- QA now takes far less time

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

The pin to the exact elements for the task.
That is amazing.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solved the problem to gather actual client requirements...

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

 ### 9. A click and comment tool that has immensely helped our agency's workflow!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Teylor S. | Chief of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

Gone are the days of asking the client for a screenshot, what browser or size screen they're viewing from! We love that the tool captures everything in one place.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

There is a small learning curve for non-tech savvy clients to overcome and some restrictions when it comes to leaving feedback on mobile.

**Recommendations to others considering BugHerd:**

Audit how much time you spend on the QA process of your product and all the current avenues users have to leave feedback.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BugHerd saves us time by simplifying the website QA process.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Hey Teylor,

Thanks for taking a moment to leave a review for BugHerd. Glad to hear it's helping the agency save time on QA.

If you have any suggestions on how we can help non-tech savvy clients with the small learning curve, feel free to drop us a line. (support@bugherd.com)

Cheers,
Merrin

 ### 10. Invaluable to our web development process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angela M. | Solutions Team Lead, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

Bugherd allows our websites to be tested and QA'd before launching. This enables us to perfect our website builds and fix any issues. It works well on Chrome on desktop.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

Bugherd is difficult to use in other browsers besides chrome. I also would like Bugherd to work on mobile. It's possible, but it's not the best experience. I have been able to create workarounds for the time being, but it would be nice for it to work cross-browser and device consistently.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bugherd allows us to capture bugs on our web builds, then we organize the issues by features, and then assign developers to the tasks. We got out of spreadsheets and into a workflow that empowers development team members to work through bugs efficiently and everyone to have eyes on the progress.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Hi Angela,

Thanks for your lovely review. Love hearing that you're out of spreadsheets!

If you're having trouble on browsers other than chrome - we do have extensions for Safari and Edge, and the javascript snippet options too. Please feel free to drop us a line at support@bugherd.com with some additional information and we can look into this for you.

Thanks again for taking the time to leave us a review.

Cheers,
Merrin

 ### 11. The best thing since Google

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel H. | Creative Content Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

It's so easy to use both for the client and for our agency. They plug in their feedback, we make the changes. We also use it internally to task updates and changes. It's a dream come true for a web design agency!

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

I just wish someone had built this sooner!

**Recommendations to others considering BugHerd:**

If you aren't using it, get it now!

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves countless hours for everyone involved. All the way from the client, to the project manager, to development and design.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> The best thing since Google, Rachel? You've made our day here! Thanks so much for the delightful review of BugHerd. So glad we're helping save hours of time for your agency and clients.

Cheers,
Merrin

 ### 12. Bugherd helps me getting my tasks done faster and smarter

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel A. | Web developper, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

screenshot feature for tasks, link for the web page of the task directly under the task description, task severity is great, but there needs to be more please,
It is an upgrade from what I was using before (Asana)

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

The fact that we don't have the option to not see the tasks in certain columns (ex: I wanna see all the tasks that are in the done column / those that are in the backlog)

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I solve Programmations bugs, I solve design errors, I have realised a bunch of projects, and I always go back to Bugherd to do some tasks for me and my team to complete before we publish the website online

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Hi Gabriel,

Thanks for your review of BugHerd. We really appreciate you taking the time to share and are really happy to hear that it helps getting tasks done faster.

Thanks for the suggestion about seeing all tasks in certain columns - I've shared that with the team.

Cheers,
Merrin

 ### 13. Really useful, efficiency driven and user-friendly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

The possibility for my clients to use it and pin point their comments rather than sending many many emails.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

It could refresh itself automatically, I need to refresh my browser page to be sure it's uptodate.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing comments, design and functions on websites for clients, Quality control process is easier that way.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Hi,

 ### 15. Love it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liz M. | Creative Services Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

Collecting feedback on websites can be a hassle, using BugHerd makes it easy to log, track, and complete website edits.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

We haven't found a good way to keep clients informed without them seeing some internal communications.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Left to their own devices, clients come up with all kinds of systems for tracking website changes/updates. BugHerd allows us to control how and when they report feedback.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Hey Liz,

Love hearing how BugHerd helps you control client feedback.

Thanks for taking the time to write this review - we really value hearing from you.

There's a couple of ways to keep clients from seeing internal comms, the main one being member only comments (https://app.getbeamer.com/bugherd/en/for-your-eyes-only-premium-feature)

Cheers,
Merrin

 ### 16. An excellent support tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

My favourite thing is the fact that clients can log tasks - I use it as a support tool to help clients with bug fixes.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

If a team member creates a task, a client can never see it. That's okay some times but quite frustrating at other points.

**Recommendations to others considering BugHerd:**

Tag guest users when you've done a task so that they get an email notification.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This has been great for QA & testing, and even post-launch by allowing us to collaborative with the client on ironing out any little issues with the website. It's definitely become invaluable for us.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Thanks for taking the time to write a great review of BugHerd. We really appreciate it.

Have shared your ideas around the options to make member tasks being visible to guests with the team.

Cheers,
Merrin

 ### 17. Invaluable tool for reviewing websites

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen T. | Marketing Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

I've been on the development end of about 50 projects in BugHerd, each one a different website I've made. That amounts to around 3000 bugs. BugHerd makes it easy for outsiders and non-technical audiences to leave feedback and compiles these issues in an easy-to-read kanban, isolating each bug and providing helpful information and making it easier for my team and others to review my work. Integration and setup is simple; BugHerd runs via frontend script, or as a browser extension.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

I have minor issues and dislikes with BugHerd. The jumps in pricing tiers are somewhat expensive. Sometimes the BugHerd initialization script wouldn't show for some users; I helped troubleshoot by having them clear their browser data.

My biggest complaint is the most fixable and interface-based. The timing of bugs is listed as "x time ago" rather than providing an exact time. I know this is a trend for fast comprehension, but as someone who's also looking at a bunch of other quantitative data anyway, a precise time of occurrence is much more useful to me.

**Recommendations to others considering BugHerd:**

Try the free trial; you'll get a lot done in that time!

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BugHerd has been instrumental in supporting my QA process. My work would be slower to ship and less polished, and team communication would be a lot less concise if my team instead passed hundreds of emails and documents per project to spot these issues.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Thanks so much for your review Stephen. Love that you've quantified how many bugs BugHerd has helped with. That makes us so happy.

I've shared your feedback about the timing of bugs with the dev team - thanks for sharing that with us too.

Cheers,
Merrin

 ### 18. Best website review software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

Bugherd makes it easy for multiple team members to review development or live website environments and leave feedback. The point and clickability to show what needs to change and ability to attach files is a game-changer.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

The downside of using BugHerd is that it can get crowded with tasks that cannot always be closed right away, but they have done several updates to change the dashboard interface and make things easier to manage.

**Recommendations to others considering BugHerd:**

Look at BugHerd for all things website feedback! Everything is in once place, easy to see and manage, and you'll never lose track of your digital to-dos.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the problem of clients wanting to give feedback on the website but not being able to point to the exact page, module or feature. BugHerd allows them to give us direct feedback and lets us track internally which projects need to be worked on first.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Thanks so much for your amazing review. So glad to you're finding BugHerd so helpful. If you ever want to share further ideas on how to make it even easier to manage large numbers of tasks, feel free to drop us a line at support@bugherd.com - we'd love to hear from you!

 ### 19. Great tool for tracking issues and updates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aris A. | Project Manager of Web Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

The ability to target specific items in a website by the client and add notes and content.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

The number of seats that are needed to be purchased when dealing with many accounts

**Recommendations to others considering BugHerd:**

Just try it and you will see. It has been a very useful tool for our agency.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Client feedback and tracking all issues in one location

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Hi Aris,

Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review. We really appreciate you sharing what's working for you and your agency.

Cheers,
Merrin

 ### 20. A great tool for supporting the quality management of our online Learning Environment

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leo P. | Senior Digital Learning Technologist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

Bugherd is easy to use to leave comments for other team members and help track common issues between projects

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

It would be helpful for guests to see other guests' comments, but this feature is available with larger packages

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greater consistency of courses and a massive reduction in small, but potentially harmful errors with regards to content and navigation.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Hi Leo,

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review of BugHerd - we really appreciate it. Also happy to hear how BugHerd is helping with quality for your online learning environment.

Cheers,
Merrin

 ### 21. Great tool for revisions and client communication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Beth D. | Client Success Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

It has a very small learning curve and can be implemented quickly. I like the pin drop, the comments, and the kanban board most of all. It's more flexible than other systems I've used in the past.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

Almost no cons -- revision note/history on initial submissions would be a great added feature. I would love to see when changes are made to the original text of a comment.

**Recommendations to others considering BugHerd:**

Once you use it, you won't want to work without it.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pin-drops replace lengthy descriptions about where to find an item being noted. This saves time and frustration for everyone involved, and makes our revisions process more efficient.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Hi Beth, Thanks for leaving us such a kind review. Glad you're finding BugHerd such a useful tool - love the idea for revision notes or history.
Cheers, Merrin

 ### 22. Ideal software for feedback on websites

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlie D. | Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

Intuitive application which allows clients and designers to annotate dislikes like a pdf.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

Doesn't prevent duplicate annotations i.e. multiple clients can comment without realising that they dislike the same thing.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows better bug tracking and visual testing whilst allowing clients to confirm likes/dislikes whilst using the site.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Hey Charlie,

Thanks so much for taking the time to review BugHerd - really appreciate it. Glad to hear it's working well with clients.

There is an option to let clients/guest see other guests feedback. Here's how to enable it: https://support.bugherd.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001159235-How-to-allow-disallow-guests-to-see-feedback-from-other-guests

 ### 24. Amazingly helpful tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** byron f. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

This tool is so easy to use and so helpful. It completely cancels the insanely long email threads, confusion, etc of trying to see exactly what your client sees and figuring out how to fix it

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

I cant think of a single feature that I would change or improve. It's intuitive, fast, and super flexible. I've used it on 20+ projects and it's been a boon every time.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving website and software bugs, design issues, etc. It's made it easy for me to see EXACTLY what the customer sees every time and on what exact page.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Hey Byron,
Thanks for your very kind review of BugHerd. We love hearing that it's helping you on so many projects!

 ### 27. Bugherd is great!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isaac I. | UI/UX designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

Visual bugging allows me to easily make changes to get the design looking perfect and up to standards.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

Hard to use with different devices. I would like a responsive/device switching tool in browser

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pre launch bugging and testing

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Hi Isaac,

Thanks for taking the time to give BugHerd a great review. Glad to hear it's helping with pre launch testing. Good news - we're currently working on making it more effective on different devices, so thanks for letting us know that would help even more.

 ### 28. BugHerd Made Life Easier!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mental Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

I loved BugHerd's ease of use once I figured out the login. It was intuitive, great for a visual and kinesthetic learner like me, and functioned mostly as expected.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

Sometimes I would leave a comment on a photo and the bug would place itself on a different random part of the page. Installing and logging in the first time required some IT support.

**Recommendations to others considering BugHerd:**

I highly recommend this for anyone working with a remote web designer.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I got my new website up and running perfectly on time! It was much easier for me to process and provide the feedback all at once (vs. the old way: several email exchanges back and forth).

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Thanks for your kind review of BugHerd. We love hearing that it makes life easier for website delivery!

Please feel free to drop us a line at support@bugherd.com if you think there is anything we could have provided to help make the installation and logging in for the first time easier.

Cheers,
Merrin

 ### 29. Bugherd Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

Allows to drop pins in specific locations and make comments. Coming from a previous agency that used screenshots and Word, Bugherd streamlines the process.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

It can be a little buggy at times as pins can move about but nothing I can't work with.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We know exactly where the problem areas are. This allows us to solve the clients concerns quicker.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Thanks for taking the time to review BugHerd. We really appreciate your feedback.

Cheers,
Merrin

 ### 30. Forget all other bug tracking tools. This makes feedback a breeze

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas S. | M, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

Team members and clients alike can clearly post bugs/feedback directly on page, reducing confusion and time posting in non-integrated systems. Plus it captures all user's tech details to make troubleshooting easy.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

Doesn't work as well on mobile. The interface isn't as responsive as it could be.

**Recommendations to others considering BugHerd:**

Will streamline your website testing

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Feedback directly on page. Clear what the feedback responds too. Integrated directly into the site vs solutions like trello that cause you to enter details separately.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Hi Nicholas,
Thanks so much for your kind words about BugHerd. We really appreciate it. Love hearing that feedback is a breeze. Good news - the mobile experience is definitely an area we're adding some extra love.
Cheers,
Merrin

 ### 31. Simple, fast and powerful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike W. | Chief Technology Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

It's effortless to implement on a new project. It keeps all website feedback in one place, and our clients love it.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

On our plan, we have to ask our clients to install the Bugherd Extension so we can capture screenshots.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Bugherd, we would have our clients provide inconsistent feedback; it was hard to manage. But with Bugherd, we can easily manage their feedback in one place. Nothing falls through the cracks.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Hey Mike,

What a lovely review. So glad BugHerd's helping manage feedback, so nothing falls through the cracks.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. Love it!

Cheers,
Merrin

 ### 32. The BEST tool for getting projects launch ready

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristen E. | CEO & Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

Having the live "click to comment" feature that's connected to a SCRUM board: GENIUS! This tool has shortened our dev process by at least 1-2 weeks!

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

Sometimes comments go missing or aren't noticed for several days - have definitely been surprised by 50+ missing comments suddenly appearing before!

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting clients and our team to actually do effective reviews of development sites. Logging issues EXACTLY where they are with no clarification needed. Bugherd is amazing!!!

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Hi Kristen,

Thanks for sharing how much BugHerd has helped shorten your dev process. That's ace!
Bit concerned about the missing comments though - if you haven't already, drop us a line at support@bugherd.com and we'll look into that more for you!

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

It's a great tool and is extremely easy to use

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

Nothing. We've been using the tool for years and it meets all our needs

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to manually screenshot user interfaces to explore solutions. Now we capture this using Bugherd and discuss immediately

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Thank you for taking the time to tell us you love BugHerd and that it's made work life easier for you.

Cheers,
Merrin

 ### 35. Accurate Change Management for Project Managers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ted W. | Senior Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

BugHerd recently released custom columns allowing us to tailor the tool to our workflow and process.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

With hundreds of ongoing projects, they can often be hard to manage for new hires.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use BugHerd to perform internal edits and QA before sending final products to customers. BugHerd allows us to ship high-quality end products.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Hey Ted,

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your thoughts on BugHerd. So glad the custom columns are making life easier for your team.

If you have any suggestions for support materials to make managing projects easier for new hires, I'd love to hear them - feel free to email support@bugherd.com with any ideas.

Cheers,

 ### 36. My team uses Bugherd weekly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

Screenshots of each bug help identify exactly what is wrong with a given web page. This helps the dev get in and resolve the issue quickly and efficiently.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

the pricing has gotten a bit steep. I started when it was like $10 a month. Now I am spending almost $100.

**Recommendations to others considering BugHerd:**

Use it, We love it as a team

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem I am solving with Bugherd is the ability to find, track and resolve bugs as reasonably as possible. The benefit is that I don't have to track bugs in a spreadsheet or other crazy, non-intuative way.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Thanks for sharing how BugHerd helps you and the team track and resolve issues. Your pricing comment has also been noted.

 ### 37. Bugherd is an easy way to add website updates for your developer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

I like how it's easy to use, and that you can invite guests and they can also drop updates into Bugherd for website updates.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

There's really nothing I dislike about Bugherd

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You can add the Bugherd extension to your browser, and then easily connect any website to it. You can then drop comments anywhere on a webpage, and the team that monitors Bugherd will see your comments. You can also add attachments into the comments which is really helpful.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Hi.

Thanks for taking the time to write such a great review of BugHerd. Really happy to hear that you find it easy to use and so helpful.

Cheers,
Merrin

 ### 38. Executive Manager

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leigh G. | Executive Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

The usability for our team and the ease of getting results

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

Sometimes the emails can be overwhelming

**Recommendations to others considering BugHerd:**

We love using this with clients and the ability to drop down pins

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Site crawls and usability issues with our clients

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Thanks Leigh for taking the time to share your thoughts on BugHerd. We really appreciate it.

Agree the emails can be overwhelming, so if you haven't already, you can change the frequency of email updates about new bugs and comments by editing the notifications options in your Profile Settings.

 ### 39. All in one task management software for design and dev teams

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

Bugherd is an excellent visual for task management to connect design and dev teams with clients and project managers. Point and click annotation that allows dev teams to see important details like exact page location and browser and screen details is invaluable.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

There isn't a perfect JIRA integration but that's it. It's otherwise perfect!

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has always been difficult communicating with clients on technical matters and Bugherd allows them to skip describing where things are on a page or what page elements they're referring to. They just point, click, and request a change in plain language. This saves so much time and grief for both our teams and our client.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Thanks for leaving a review for BugHerd, and glad to hear it's saving time and grief for you, your team and your clients!

 ### 40. BugHerd was s great tool with working with third party developers and client teams.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

I like the screenshot and video recording capability the best.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

I dislike that when reviewing mobile it's hard to capture the bugs because of the lack of screen left when the tool is being used.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We ere trying to solve having duplicate comments and a long running spreadsheet where you can't see all the comments. It provides a nice view of all the comments and let's developers and clients comment back.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Thanks for your great review. Glad to hear you're enjoying BugHerd's organisation of website comments and thanks for the info about the mobile experience - it's something we're continuing to work on.

 ### 41. Very satisfied

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

Bughers is a very easy plateform to use, very friendly user and it makes the communication during a project much easier.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

Sometimes there are little glitches, but they fix them fast

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving all types of problems, like design adjustments, bug fixes, etc.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Thanks so much for your lovely review of BugHerd - so glad to hear you find it easy and helpful.

Cheers,
Merrin

 ### 42. Perfect Tool for team work!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2021

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

I like the fact that this tool integrates to a website by adding a chrome extension. Once you install the extension you can start marking bugs that need fixes and you can tag individuals.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

The fact that this doesn't integrate to a time tracker like Everhour or Harvest and you need to keep a record of your working hours manually

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When building or redesigning a website, bugs can be marked/tagged in a table and these can be assigned to other members/users. The table has stages: backlog, to-do, doing, done, archived and there is also an option to custom these.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Thanks for your great review. Glad BugHerd is helping with good team work. Thanks also for sharing that you'd like a way to record working hours.

 ### 43. Great product. Really easy to use and collaborate with others.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2022

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

The user interface is nice; the chrome extension is great.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

Not too much, to be honest. It's a really nice product!

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickly identifying bugs / changes required for our sites, collaborating with numerous individual across departments.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Thanks for taking the time to review BugHerd. We're thrilled you find it a great product.

 ### 44. Best bug tracking tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

It's easy to use and has a very user friendly interface.
UI is very smooth and doesn't lag.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

It can get a few more integrations. And pricing can be a bit less.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We collaborate being a remote team and it really helps.

**Official Response from Merrin Hughes:**

> Thanks for taking the time to leave your review of BugHerd. We're glad to hear it's helping with the remote team collaboration.

 ### 45. excellent way to manage website defects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2020

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

Looks liek a scrum board, but allows to see defects on the actual website

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

I have been very happy with everything this product offers

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing stakeholders with a visual of the issues

 ### 46. Is a powerful and easy-to-use tool.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James E. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2020

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

Ease of integration and management when managing the tasks that are set to develop, allows you to maintain a great integration and management of each of the activities.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

Its handling and integration in mobile devices is a little confusing and slow to handle would be ideal to improve this small detail.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Useful for the management of tasks and different activities that are scheduled to be developed by all members of the team.

 ### 47. Easy website review system

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah B. | Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2018

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

This system makes it extremely easy to pin real time updates or notes needed on a website. It is primarily used when building a new website where the customer as well as internal reviewer can make notes, pinning them right on the exact button, photo, section, etc.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

The customer has to be trained on how to use it and some find it difficult if they are not tech savvy. For those building a website, it's useful, but if your client is not inclined to use a program like this they may disregard and send you feedback another way!

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better communication. It's much more affective to use a program where you can easily make updates that are right in front of you, and mark them as complete.

 ### 48. It does an excellent job

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aurora M. | Administrative Assistant, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2018

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

It records and stores errors given by the people or consumers of the program and saves so that it is easier for the developers to solve the problems. I like it because I can do the work of my house and it's easier for me.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

It does not have a very reliable and very open presentation. It has a slightly complicated interface. I do not like that the main page does not show many social networks so customers can go.

**Recommendations to others considering BugHerd:**

I recommend it because it is useful when identifying problems and that developers can solve it easily.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have easily resolved the errors of the website as well as recommendations on how to improve it.

 ### 49. Simple but flexible bug tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaitlin R. | Director of Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2017

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

The interface is simple and clean. Even when you need to track hundreds of tickets or features, it doesn't become overwhelming and things are still easy to monitor at a glance and search through. I like the ability to quickly check tag counts, and see which team member is assigned to an issue. The ability to have multiple projects running at one time also helps us stay organized and keep tickets from separate functions from overlapping in the same space as the volume of items we log can be high at times.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

Overall we've been pretty happy with the system. It would be nice if the column sorting was per user instead of per project so that each person could sort columns according to what they prioritize most. This caused some confusion at first as people would change the sorting not realizing it affected what other members of the team were seeing as well. This is relatively minor though. Once we understood what the result was, we all agreed on which sorting to use and it hasn't been an issue since.

**Recommendations to others considering BugHerd:**

Great for mid sized teams that include non developers. Easy to learn and it's clear they try to keep things simple, but useful.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a medium sized team and it helps teams of two or three of us coordinate on specific issues as we are testing and deploying fixes with ease. It keeps everyone involved with an issue up to date on the status of things so that we're less likely to let things fall through the cracks which is great when we're working on so many items simultaneously. We're also using BugHerd to catalog and record feature requests and feedback from the team so that we don't lose track of them and can easily search through them for future reference.

 ### 50. Amazing Bug Tracker with Easy Wordpress integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor G. | Application Systems Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2018

**What do you like best about BugHerd?**

Excellent for reporting, tracking, and organizing bugs through BugHerd's website. It is amazing how you can report bugs in a point and click fashion to point to exactly where the bug is. It also captures a screenshot of the page, browser details, resolution of browser when bug was reported, and you can even assign or comment on each bug.

**What do you dislike about BugHerd?**

I dislike how Bugherd is not updated often and there is little to no integration with other software or Wordpress, .

**Recommendations to others considering BugHerd:**

Integration of bugherd into your website is easy if you find the right Wordpress plugin and know how to plug htis into your non-Wordpress site. The plugin itself is also outdated but works well even with Wordpress 4.9.1 as well as Meteor or Vue websites.

**What problems is BugHerd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

reporting, tracking, and organizing bugs for Websites. It makes it easy for Quality Assurance to report and track bugs as well as for developers to receive assigned bugs. Developers can also change the status of bugs as To-do, doing, done, and more.
