What do you like best about BrightHR?

BrightHR makes it easy to manage staff leave, attendance, and HR records in one place. The system is very straightforward — employees can request leave and log attendance through the app, and managers can approve or track everything in seconds. It has really simplified HR admin. It saves a lot of time by centralising staff data, attendance, and holiday management. The reporting features are helpful for tracking patterns, and it reduces errors compared to manual spreadsheets. What do you dislike about BrightHR?

Some features feel a little basic, and at times the system can run slowly. There are also occasional limitations when customising reports. What do you like best about BrightHR?

With BrightHR, I’m not only using the BrightSafe feature for health and safety, but I also value the paid time off and holiday request functionality, along with the comprehensive employee records. Everything is very well organized and aligns seamlessly with the H&S features, making it much easier to manage, track, and access all information in one central place. What do you dislike about BrightHR?

I think there’s room for improvement by developing a more comprehensive tool overall. For example, the recruitment feature could be more user-friendly, and incorporating more AI-driven HR tools would enhance efficiency and usability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about BrightHR?

I like BrightHR because they consistently improve and develop their software. It’s clear they listen to customer feedback, and the system just keeps getting better. It does everything I need it to – from managing staff holidays and sickness to keeping important HR documents in one place. It’s easy to use and saves me a lot of time. What do you like best about BrightHR?

The ease of keeping track. As a manager, I am able to keep track of my department and make sure they're all upto date on documents, leave and clocking in. What do you like best about BrightHR?

Simple and easy to use, makes managing out staff nice and easy. Team find the system easy to use, especially with the mobile app. Implementing the system was a simple import of data. HR use this system daily with team use as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about BrightHR?

Firstly, it took me less than a day to set up and implement. Customer support provided training prior and were hands on with any issues. We also purchased several days within the package to get all the Health & Safety checks done and the Fire Risk Assessments. Both these are invaluable as they highlight any issues that need addressing and allow for monitoring.

As for monitoring, it was a simple process to set up each location with tasks, weekly, monthly, 6 monthly and yearly and when these come due, a simple email is sent to remind the location. Also, there are reports to highlight any staff not completing the tasks required.

All your HSE documents are all stored and its simple to update them.

Template to create your own documents / risk assessments are all provided along with a wealth of standard documents.

Also integrated with BrightHR, so no need for additional input of staffing details.

Online training course are provided free of charge and it simple to allocate them to staff to keep their training up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightHR?

You have to sign a contract for 3 years to make it worth while. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
