"Brighthire Is a Game-Changer for Compliance and Faster, More Insightful Interviews"
5/5
What do you like best about BrightHire?

Brighthire has been a great partner for us because it takes care of many of the legal and compliance considerations around privacy, as well as video and transcription storage. It’s also been invaluable for our interviewers, helping them submit scorecards faster and provide more thoughtful, insightful feedback. Several said it is a game changer for them and it aligns well with our AI forward initiatives. The value is definitely worth the price. It is reasonable for what we are getting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightHire?

There have been one or two instances where the interviewer and candidate were mixed up in the transcription and notes; meaning the AI didn’t clearly identify who was speaking. Another drawback is that many of our interviewers are used to a more narrative style rather than bullet points, so we’ve had to coach our interviewers on how to use the tool efficiently without losing their voice. For those just starting to use Brighthire, some times the block within the video interview can be distracting. Although, after a few interviews, that generally dissipates. "Helps us interview better, not just take notes"
5/5
What do you like best about BrightHire?

What I like most about BrightHire is that it lets me be fully present in interviews instead of splitting my attention between the candidate and taking notes. I use it regularly for recruiter screens, and having the recording, searchable transcript, and AI-generated notes afterward makes it much easier to go back and find specific moments without relying on memory or handwritten notes.

I also really value how easy it is to share interviews with hiring teams. We can use real examples to calibrate on what strong versus weaker interview performance looks like, especially in skills interviews, rather than trying to describe it secondhand.

BrightHire has also become a useful interviewer coaching tool for us. Being able to review past interviews helps us see where questions are getting good signal, where an interviewer could dig deeper, and how we can improve the overall quality and consistency of our interviews over time. The AI notes, summaries, and action items are helpful on top of that and save a lot of manual follow-up work.

Overall, I like that BrightHire isn't just a note-taking or recording tool. We use it for interview documentation, hiring team alignment, calibration, and interviewer development, which makes it useful throughout the hiring process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightHire?

There honestly isn't much that I dislike about BrightHire. If I had to identify an area for improvement, it would be that the AI-generated notes and summaries aren't always perfect, so I still occasionally need to go back to the transcript or recording to make sure I have the full context from a conversation.

I also think there's always some consideration around candidate comfort with interviews being recorded, so it's important to be thoughtful about how that experience is communicated. Overall though, neither of these has been a major issue for me, and the benefits of the platform far outweigh the drawbacks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Enhanced Interview Focus with Room for Integration Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about BrightHire?

I love the transcription aspect of BrightHire as it allows me to concentrate on the conversation within the interview instead of taking perfect notes. I also like the ability to review the captured pieces later if I've forgotten something important. The question-generating feature is great because it provides questions that are directly relevant to the job description and the role's specific responsibilities, ensuring that I'm asking questions based on what the person will actually be doing. I find the statistics valuable, especially for coaching fellow interviewers. The statistics such as on-time starts and the ratio of interviewer-to-candidate speaking time are helpful for creating a warm candidate experience. Setting up the trial of BrightHire was fairly easy, and although setting it up for the entire team required more work and time than I initially thought, all the steps themselves were fairly easy. What do you dislike about BrightHire?

I do wish that BrightHire had better integrations with Google Meet since that is the software that my company uses. I also wish that BrightHire would show what time interviewers start their interview versus just whether they were on time or not. Knowing specifics would be more helpful. Also, setting up BrightHire for the entire team did require a bit more work than I initially thought it would be, since there are a lot of steps that did eat up a large chunk of my bandwidth. "A Must-Have Tool for Modern TA Teams"
5/5
What do you like best about BrightHire?

I use BrightHire primarily for pre-screening and pre-vetting candidates, especially within the IT space, and it has become an important part of our recruitment process. The platform has helped us standardize our interviews, improve consistency in candidate evaluation, and ultimately make more informed hiring decisions.

From a UI/UX perspective, BrightHire is incredibly intuitive and easy for recruiters and interviewers to adopt. The platform is simple to navigate, and features like recording, transcription, AI-generated notes, and curated interview guides make it easy to stay focused on the conversation rather than worrying about capturing every detail. The ability to create role-specific interview guides has been a standout feature for us, helping ensure a structured and consistent assessment process across different roles.

The AI capabilities have been a huge value-add, particularly the quality of interview summaries and insights that help us quickly identify key candidate strengths, concerns, and discussion points. The clip feature is also extremely useful for sharing relevant interview moments with clients and internal stakeholders, making collaboration much easier.

BrightHire’s integrations and overall performance have been seamless, and the onboarding experience was quick and straightforward for our team. We were able to get up and running with minimal friction, and the support team has been responsive and genuinely open to feedback. I also appreciate that BrightHire continues to evolve, regularly introducing new features and improvements based on customer needs.

Overall, BrightHire has provided strong value for our team by improving efficiency, enhancing the candidate experience, and helping us deliver a more consistent, data-driven recruitment process. The pricing is fair for the value it delivers, and the ROI is evident through the time saved, improved collaboration, and stronger confidence in our hiring decisions. It’s been a worthwhile investment for our recruitment team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightHire?

BrightHire is generally meeting our needs and has become a valuable part of our recruitment workflow. If I had to identify areas for improvement, the main one would be reliability around recording availability. There have been occasional instances where the recording feature has gone down or experienced issues, although the BrightHire team has been quick to address and resolve these when they occur.

As the platform continues to evolve, I’d also be excited to see even more advanced AI capabilities introduced to further streamline interview insights, candidate evaluation, and overall recruitment workflows. The foundation is already strong, and continued innovation in this area would add even more value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"BrightHire Enables Active Listening and More Thoughtful, Evidence-Based Feedback"
5/5
What do you like best about BrightHire?

BrightHire shifted interviewing from note taking to active listening. It allows interviewers to focus on understanding the candidate in the moment, ask better follow up questions, and then write more thoughtful, evidence based feedback afterward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightHire?

BrightHire should make you a better interviewer, not a lazier one. Use it to free yourself from note taking so you can actively listen and ask better follow up questions. Then use the recording and transcript to support thoughtful, evidence based feedback, not replace it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Structured STAR Interviews With Clear Team Alignment and Visibility"
5/5
What do you like best about BrightHire?

The structured interview framework enforcement is combined with team alignment visibility. We use it to ensure STAR methodology is applied across every interview while also measuring candidates and panelists against our leadership principles. The automatic notes and shareable candidate highlights mean your hiring team is calibrated on what you actually heard against our values, not individual interpretations. It's the only tool that gives me visibility into whether our interview quality and cultural fit assessment are holding at the bar we set. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightHire?

I can't get an email synopsis of coaching insights without manually going through each panelist's feedback. It would be far more useful to automatically surface those insights and have them feed directly into the Train module so coaching happens at scale, not as a manual project after every round. Right now the insights exist but they're scattered across individual profiles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Brighthire Keeps Us Engaged in Interviews and Saves Time with AI Screen"
4.5/5
What do you like best about BrightHire?

Brighthire has been incredibly useful for our recruiting team. The two biggest benefits our team gets is the ability to be fully engaged in a conversation and not have to vigorously take notes while talking to candidates, as well as, being able to reference back recordings when we forget part of a conversation.

The other big contribution has been the time savings for us and the candidates on the AI Screen portion of Brighthire. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightHire?

The reliance on a tool to transcribe and take notes is wonderful until there is a technical issue where the transcription isn't recorded or is lost for one reason or another. This impacts TA team experience, interviewer experience and trust in TA tools, and often candidate experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Game-Changing Interview Intelligence with a Team That's Constantly Innovating"
4.5/5
What do you like best about BrightHire?

At its core, the recording and transcription functionality has been a game changer for our teams, giving us much better visibility into interviews and making it easier to calibrate across interviewers. On top of the product itself, the team support from BrightHire has been excellent, and their webinars on product updates have been genuinely useful for staying on top of what's new and how to use it.

BrightHire is consistently improving, and recently had a wave of new features roll out, including AI Screen and fraud detection. We were also offered a pilot of AI Screen, which was a great opportunity to try out new functionality early and see the value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightHire?

Since the release of the scorecard autofill feature with our ATS integration, we've seen noticeably fewer technical issues and the transcription has been pretty solid overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Efficient, Enhances Structured Hiring"
4/5
What do you like best about BrightHire?

I think BrightHire is easy to use and it saves meaningful time. As a recruiter, I find the visibility and insight into interviews useful. It supports a data-backed structured hiring process. I'm also starting to explore the BrightHire MCP in Claude, and there are some interesting use cases there. I've noticed that it creates greater efficiency in speed to completing tasks, and feedback is useful for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightHire?

An area in need of improvement is speaker attribution accuracy. There have been times where we've seen the platform struggle to differentiate between speakers during interviews, raising some concerns about a gap or bias in the audio recognition models. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Interview Recording and Structured Process"
5/5
What do you like best about BrightHire?

I like BrightHire because it's really simple to use and feels like second nature once you get over the implementation phase. It makes it easier to have conversations with candidates without being distracted by note-taking, which lets us focus more on the candidates and build a better connection with them. I also find it valuable to review interviews, make clips, and use these to build interviewer training programs. The structured process and scorecards offer useful insights. I appreciate that our CSM and product team are very responsive, taking our feedback into account and continuously improving the experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightHire?

The initial setup process with BrightHire was okay but a bit turbulent. There were some unknowns at the beginning since it was still in the early stages. However, as the company and our understanding of the product developed, things improved significantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
