There is a bit of a learning curve with requesting spend limits and reimbursements, but once you get the hang of it, it will all make sense. Brex makes It so easy to add receipts as soon as you have a transaction, no more storing up all your receipts until you get home. Brex even tries to figure out the categories so I don't have to. It automatically sends the expense details without having to finalize an expense report so I get reimbursed quickly. It is all on an app on your phone or you can use the desktop. **What do you dislike about Brex?** When typing in descriptions or other details on the app if you make a mistake and try to correct it the typing always goes to the end of the sentence, even if you started at the beginning. It is so weird. You always have to delete whatever you typed and start all over. They also have a robust set of integrations already so I don't have to worry that my other tools won't sync with them. **What do you dislike about Brex?** I don't think their spend management features are as good as Ramp's. I'd rather have that handle my AP. We also don't travel much so the rewards game that Brex has isn't as meaningful for us. **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our previous bank was having technical issues with their partner bank and so we didn't trust them. It's provided a user-friendly interface that is intuitive and easy to navigate. The implementation process is straightforward and well-documented, allowing us to help our team setup trainings and meetings easily while also providing support for us every week. Speaking of, the customer support is excellent, with responsive and knowledgeable assistance available through chat, email, and phone. Brex's comprehensive features and ease of use make it an all-in-one tool for managing expenses, corporate cards, rewards programs, and integrations like QBO and ADP, allowing us to streamline our financial processes. The fact they have all of this and a travel platform makes them the best compared to all their other competitors. We've done our homework with people like Bill.com, TravelBank, Ramp, Expensify, and others; Brex is leagues above it's competitors, and KLAS is lucky to work with Brex. I'm so glad Brex is where it's at now, and I hope that it continues to grow and maintain its innovation. edit: I don't know if you've seen their IT security page, but as an accountant, it warms my heart to see how protective and proactive they are about information security. **What do you dislike about Brex?** I wish they had an option to send wires in foreign currency & do group traveling. I believe they're working on the group traveling, but we've had lots of people who expect foreign currency payments. It would be helpful to have some assurance that the money that they receive will be in their designated currency. **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having just one platform to handle all of our expenses, budgeting, and travel makes life so much easier. They helped me with a difficult flight cancellation. The expense management through slack and whatsapp make it very easy to keep track of what is happening. Memos and receipts are easy. Users love the app and ability to add memos via text, complete with good AI suggestions. Non-brex card expense reimbursements are straightforward for users and have an easy workflow. Budget / limit management provides lots of visibility. Replacement cards process is smooth and quick. Statements are easy to read. Integration with QuickBooks Online is solid. Transactions come through clean, with memos and attachments, and reconciliations are super straightforward. (We switched from Chase for Business credit cards and spent waaay too much time chasing receipts, managing reconciliations, dealing with surprise/unplanned expenses amounts. We got back so much time when we started using Brex) Also using Brex for Bill Pymts. Generally happy with the workflow: budgets, approval flows, visibility, easy to use UI. You can tell that Bill Pay is a little behind their card product though. Card expense management seems almost magical, bill payment has fewer delighters. I really appreciate that I don't have to mess around with managing balances between high interest account and checking account. I just pay bills from the single Brex balance. We are a very small startup and have a lean team that can't afford to get bogged down with credit card and bill payment headaches. Brex makes us feel like we have better systems than the big companies we came from and frees us up to build the business. We moved from SVB to Chase to Brex. By far Brex is easiest to work with and integrate to QuickBooks. Customer support has also been super responsive. **What do you dislike about Brex?** Generally very happy, but areas for improvement would be a few feature gaps in bill pay. Example: if pay by credit card you can assign an expense to a customer/project. You can't do this if paying an invoice via bill pay (have to add this in QuickBooks after the transaction shows up there) Reporting is also a little limited. **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Brex makes it super easy for folks to use their cards with confidence and submit the info needed for the related expenses. To set and track limits, spending, etc. We're also using Brex banking service, which is very handy to have all-in-one **What do you dislike about Brex?** The verification process on the Brex side was long, it was a pain. But eventually we got approved! **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** To issue employee cards, track expenses, set limits, approve payments, send reimbursements! Brex makes it easier than ever to issue cards, pay bills, manage spend limits, and monitor transactions. Their recent improvement with international payment have also been great. **What do you dislike about Brex?** It was annoying to have weird wire instructions for incoming international wires but this has since been fixed- so there is nothing I dislike! **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Brex is the better bank account with fantastic spend management. We implemented it quickly and there was really no learning curve for me as a user because the app is so straightforward. It also feels very secure! **What do you dislike about Brex?** I used to not like that I had to go on my phone to add memos (either through text or in the app), but recently I got a slack integration so that got resolved! **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** It majorly solved tracking spending at my company. Their team sees issues through to resolution, is very communicative, and works very quickly **What do you dislike about Brex?** Brex booking for rental cars has not yet fully worked for me. I've had to pay on my own each time I've booked a car + be reimbursed by my company. **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Paying for work travel, organizing trips, etc. with ease and coordination. I've had to change work plans more than once and Brex has been incredibly supportive and forthcoming to assist. Our investor funding was held up for weeks at our old traditional bank. As soon as we switched to Brex, we truly felt supported for our unique needs. **What do you dislike about Brex?** Still newer to the market so there are a few tech bugs. **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Brex provides a bank that is tailored to startups' unique needs. Our traditional bank could not do that, and it made running our business very hard. The only thing I wish was different is it's a little tricky if you eat at a restaurant and leave a tip, because it flags it as not matching the transaction amount (due to the tip not coming through yet). It updates itself once the tip comes through though so it's not really a big issue. **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** It makes it easy to track my business travel expenses.
