What do you like best about BookSteam?

booksteam is appointment management software, it can make customers schedule appointments, customers can also receive reminders so they don't forget the appointment, it will also allow you to set up work hours. It seems to me a very easy tool to use, effective but I would like to develop a little more integration with other software and programs, we had problems linking it to our website, however the technical service gave us the required guidance and we could solve it. We are looking for another tool for scheduling appointment and we came across this program we decided to take the test for free and we were pleasantly satisfied, although we are 2 days away from the expiration of the free trial we could see that the software is very complete, we managed to insert data quickly and make the necessary adjustments to store our patient database, additionally we were pleasantly surprised by the appointment reminder system is very efficient, in addition to email generates an alert via text message, on the other hand the automated system helped us to organize better as well as increase our effectiveness as a work team. I love that the plans are affordable, in Canadian dollars so not fluctuating US dollar, customer service is amazing, easy to use for my clients (they love it better than my old software Booker) because it's easier to navigate! Would like the option to max out certain services (for example, max out massages at 5 per day and the other services are unlimited), no option to enter tips on receipts, don't like that swipe holds funds for 6 days when a client purchases a gift card, can't customize certain client notifications, no option for reviews outside the system such as google, Facebook etc. No booking link option on Instagram. The system was a bit too complex for some our older employees and clients but there was improvement after training using the resources provided with the software. The initial software even takes a while but it is worth every penny of investment. It can be a little confusing to set up. What do you like best about BookSteam?

We love Booksteam's versatility - customers can search by location, practitioner, class type, etc. And the reports it generates are very helpful in terms of tracking attendance, no-shows, and seeing trends develop over time. Also, I have to give a shout-out to customer support which is second to none. We've had a LOT of questions while setting up the system, and I can honestly say there was not a single time they did not reply quickly and concisely (usually within a 2-hour window; sometimes as quickly as 5 minutes). This is a HUGE step up from the customer support at the two other scheduling services we tried. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BookSteam?

I do wish they were API-enabled, but they say that is in the works. Also it's worth mentioning that the setup process (particularly for multiple practitioners across several locations) takes a loooooong time. But I think it would be the same with ANY software that has as many capabilities as this one. Once the setup is done, though, the hours it will save you in the future make it all worthwhile!
