# Which exit interview management platforms are most trusted by HR directors for improving retention through employee feedback?

Trust here seems to come down to whether HR actually acted on what a tool surfaced, not just whether the tool collected the data cleanly.

Qualtrics Employee Experience reviewers describe a hands-off service model where the vendor's own team handles surveying, deployment, and analysis, which several specifically credited with building trust both internally and with employees. Does that level of vendor involvement actually build more trust with HR leadership, or does it just take work off their plate?

WorkStep reviewers describe monthly meetings with the vendor to review data and build action plans together, which is a fairly direct trust signal since it's an ongoing relationship rather than a one-time report.

People Element reviewers describe excellent client support across a full lifecycle of surveys, with one reviewer specifically on their fifth survey cycle still describing the experience as uniformly positive.

ExitPro reviewers describe it as solving the most commonly neglected part of the HR process, since exit conversations tend to get skipped once the working relationship with an employee is already over. Is that neglect actually a tooling problem though, or is it more about HR bandwidth regardless of which platform is in place?

For HR directors specifically who've built genuine trust in one of these platforms: was it the reporting, the vendor relationship, or something that happened after a specific piece of feedback actually led to a change?

The platform trust question is really: does this tool make it easier or harder for leadership to decide to change something based on what they learned?

For me it would be the vendor relationship over time rather than the reporting alone, since a monthly check-in that turns feedback into an actual action plan is what makes HR trust the data enough to act on it consistently.

### Comment 3

For me, trust would come from seeing a specific piece of employee feedback turn into an actual change. Reporting can surface the pattern and a strong vendor relationship can help interpret it, but neither matters much if HR cannot connect the insight to an action that improves the employee experience.

Your ExitPro point is spot on, since skipped exit conversations are usually an HR bandwidth problem, not a tooling one, and no platform fixes a process nobody has time to run. So the most trusted tool tends to be the one whose vendor absorbs enough of the workload that the program actually keeps happening, which is what lets feedback lead to a change worth trusting.
