"Boldo: a promising and innovative enterprise architecture tool."
What do you like best about Boldo?

Boldo is an easy-to-access tool with a neat interface. I particularly appreciate the adaptable meta-model and the import assistant that facilitates the setup of mapping. The product roadmap is very interesting and the support is responsive. In summary, a very promising tool in the enterprise architecture tools market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boldo?

No major drawback in Boldo but I see some limitations in the current version:

- on the planning of the information system's evolution (TO BE).

- the creation of diagrams can be complex for displaying linked objects.

- No use of LLM as of 2026. (to come in the roadmap) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple to Use, Yet Comprehensive for Enterprise Architecture Modeling"
What do you like best about Boldo?

Simple to use, yet very comprehensive for modeling any enterprise architecture. Clear roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boldo?

It doesn't yet have all the connectors, but they are on the roadmap and frankly, not all of them are really necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Boldo: a clear IT mapping to better manage the impacts"
What do you like best about Boldo?

I particularly appreciate the comprehensive and unified vision that Boldo offers of the information system. Highly configurable, the tool allows for precise mapping of all the components of the IS and quickly creates clear and readable diagrams (flowcharts, processes, architectures). Its centralized approach makes it a true IS repository, easy to share and utilize. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boldo?

Some additional features could further enhance the tool. Nevertheless, the Boldo team stands out for its dynamism, its attentiveness to users, and a clear roadmap, already incorporating these upcoming developments, which inspires great confidence in the future maturity of the product. "An Engaged Interface and Positive Evolution"
What do you like best about Boldo?

I appreciate the beautiful interface of Boldo and the simplicity with which I can make it my own. The great readability is an asset, even for clients or non-experts. I like the intelligent structure of object management and the constant and positive scalability. This simplifies the onboarding of clients and colleagues onto the platform and allows me to centralize and manipulate the levels of detail according to my needs. The management of objects is very flexible, which allows me to adapt to all client or project contexts with the right level of granularity. Moreover, the initial configuration of Boldo was very simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boldo?

Nothing critical, but the more we do with it, the more we want to go further to capitalize on the work accomplished. A feature that is coming and expected is a better formalization of data processing flows, step by step. It's very micro, but sometimes very useful. Add sequencing / temporality logic eventually, and graphical / visual elements on the diagrams to enrich the illustration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An EAM tool that is easy to use and effective in day-to-day operations for users of all skill levels"
What do you like best about Boldo?

After a year of intensive use, Boldo has become the go-to tool for managing enterprise architecture. The solution has evolved significantly since last year, and its collaborative features enable users to examine every detail of IT assets and make the right decisions. Business teams use it to understand the key aspects of the IT infrastructure (applications, data flows, responsibilities, ongoing projects, etc.) and define their requirements. Technical teams devise ways to meet these needs using IT components (servers, interfaces, data, security, etc.).

An effective tool that has become essential as a portal for IT architecture! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boldo?

The solution already meets most requirements and is still evolving rapidly. There is still room for improvement in terms of managing team comments, the types of data visualisation available, inventory analysis, and the management of architectural transitions (as-is/to-be). "User-Centric EAM Solution"
What do you like best about Boldo?

This EAM tool offers a solid foundation for flexibility, with an adaptable meta-model, user-friendly interface, and a relatively rapid learning curve. Adding information is straightforward using the table view and diagrams, which provides a clear overview of the data structure. While some import features may not be comprehensive, they meet most business needs.

The support team is responsive and helpful, providing quick answers directly through the web app. The tool performs well overall.

One area for improvement is the lack of API/MCP integration, although this is being addressed in the roadmap. Additionally, the pricing model is straightforward and doesn't require extensive configuration, which can simplify inventory management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boldo?

while this young solution has potential, it's still a developing product with room for improvement. A major area of improvement is stronger reporting capabilities, which would elevate this tool as a powerful storytelling platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy, Fast Enterprise Architecture Views Anyone Can Understand"
What do you like best about Boldo?

What I like best about Boldo is how easy it is to model and visualize enterprise architecture views in a way that can be shared with non‑technical decision‑makers. The interface is simple, the learning curve is very short, and teams can start creating clear views in just a few days. Compared to more complex EA tools, this makes it much faster to get value without heavy training. I also appreciate being able to feed the repository from CSV files and to configure the meta‑model quickly, which makes it easy to adapt to different projects and contexts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boldo?

Boldo is still evolving, so some advanced features and integrations are not fully mature yet, and there are occasional small bugs or missing options. It could support more complex automation scenarios and deeper integrations with external tools, especially for teams with more advanced needs. However, the team is reactive and regularly releases updates, so the product keeps improving over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Boldo: easy to handle, flexible metamodel, and very clear mappings"
What do you like best about Boldo?

Boldo is easy to handle while offering a very flexible metamodel. The mappings are clear, visual, and easily understandable, even by non-technical profiles. Boldo centralizes the knowledge of the IS and offers a reliable cross-sectional view (applications, data, flows). This helps to frame projects, facilitate governance, and improve decision-making in the architecture committee. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boldo?

I have not encountered any limitation. The selection of properties displayed on the diagrams would be a plus, but it remains a detail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Maximum efficiency thanks to immediate boarding!"
What do you like best about Boldo?

In addition to facilitating the collection of information, Boldo produces rich and accurate maps. They are easy to understand and present. It is extremely easy to use, the learning curve is almost flat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boldo?

Adding export functions for users who will never log in to Boldo could be a plus Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An intuitive, sovereign, and efficient business modeling solution"
What do you like best about Boldo?

Intuitive (even the customization of the meta-model), open (complete APIs), sovereign (and French), reasonable pricing adapted to usage, rich and very visual cartographic rendering, very effective support, interesting and active product roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boldo?

The limits on the total number of repository assets, which I would like to be more flexible with appropriate pricing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
