"Simple, easy to use tool for Coaches and Consultants to build their community"
4/5
What do you like best about Bettermode?

Tribe is the easiest, simplest way to launch a community for your brand. They have removed the technical hurdles to allow coaches, consultants, and freelancers to thoughtfully host a vibrant community of supporters, clients, and prospects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bettermode?

With its ease comes limitations - there are very few ways to make it "yours", other than changing brand colors and graphics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A terrific community platform only missing a few things"
4/5
What do you like best about Bettermode?

As someone who’s been really interested in community software for years (and who’s used Buddypress and BBPress since 2016), I must admit that Tribe is one of the best tools I have found for the job. It creates a modern approach to community discussion which my team loves. The forum tool, for so long experienced little growth; the static nature of forums has made teams and communities switch to platforms like Discord or Slack, which possess disadvantages including inconvenient threading, the inability for messages to be indexed and horrible user profiles.

Tribe is one of the few platforms that has created a home page for forum communities that people want to use. The home page is dynamic with gamification elements, channels take the place of boards in forums while maintaining the same functionality, and it means that Tribe feels like a community chat platform with the functionality of a forum, but the UX of a beautifully crafted Slack or Discord competitor - which it will be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bettermode?

As a proponent for open-source software and development, I am disappointed that Tribe is not open-source because I feel that so many people that use Tribe for their communities would have so much to give and offer Tribe through developing, however, this is something that doesn't really matter and regardless the project is going to go in the right directions, as seen by the recent update history.

Richer user profiles with galleries (like in Buddypress) are something I missed after using Buddypress, and for someone who moderates/maintains a community that shares a lot of files a dedicated file space attributed to users and groups would be excellent.

Deep linking with tools like Github & Gitlab for issues and discussions would be good; a lot of developers discuss their software on platforms like Tribe and this is something that I feel is quite important.

The pricing plans are relatively expensive but if you can afford it, it's worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing community platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Bettermode?

Tribe is an amazing platform for the community building. User can customize the UI and Experience of the user with custom fields. Providing multiple apps plugins like Amplitude, Sendgrid, Telegram, Google Analytics, SSO, Zapier etc. are awesome and very easy to implement with basic tech knowledge only. I would recommend to Tribe to everyone who wants to build the community from scratch without any coding efforts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bettermode?

Need to work on some suggestions which I already gave to the team and they are working on it. Like adding Live sessions like FB live and Youtube Live. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Organic growth is guaranteed"
5/5
What do you like best about Bettermode?

Easy setup, no knowledge about the cloud infrastructure is required. Vanity URL, loads of community features, lot of customization, and excellent support community. SEO booster, gamification, welcome email, social logins etc helps to grow the community. Instant notifications to channels like Telegram keeps your community engaged. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bettermode?

Needs improvements in terms of third party integrations. No mobile app available yet. Few of the must-have apps are listed under Premium, which is a deal breaker for some. E.g. Slack, Web hooks etc required premium plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Product + Experience"
4/5
What do you like best about Bettermode?

I've definitely enjoyed using tribe. You have streamlined access to different groups and topics, and I love how when a question is posted you can choose to submit a "comment" or an "answer" - this allows the author of the post to easily differentiate from all responses and go to the most relevant one's. Additionally, the ability to "follow" a post is a great one to stay updated on a particular topic that you're looking to learn and grow in.

Most importantly, the Tribe team has invested in our community and been receptive to our feedback, which clearly shows they have a customer-centric approach to their work. I'm eager to see all the enhancements that will be launched in the coming weeks and months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bettermode?

Answers to posts show up in the feed. I rather just see the posts and open them if interested. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Our community loves Tribe"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Bettermode?

My community mostly hates using Facebook, and Tribe is a very familiar platform for us to use. We've created mentor groups inside of our Tribe as well as community leader. It has become a key way for us to communicate upcoming online events, and we are excited to continue to use more integrations of Tribe.so. Another key feature we love about Tribe is the fact that we can also have direct messaging. This has been powerful for us and our users of our product.

Thank you Tribe Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bettermode?

The features and apps within the service. That they have a free plan that works for most organizations and businesses seeking to foster a better relationship with customers and employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Customization is only by CSS, if you are not familiar with the coding it may appear cumbersome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
