What do you like best about Basware?

The simplicity of the interface and support for all types of files for invoice generation helps a lot.

What do you like best about Basware?

Matching queue, ease of copy-pasting, it shows if there is a duplicate invoice entry, ease of loading the invoice, coding the department and project at the time of loading the invoice itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Basware?

We cannot get a summary of the invoices loaded for a particular day. If a single invoice is loaded twice and the invoice number is in different format, the software doesn't give a warning message that it might be a duplicate as everything else is the same. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Basware?

Journal Entry posting is made easy in excel formats, We can easily copy pate data & post the multiple entries, GL reconciliation is also very useful for audit perspective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Basware?

We cannot post cross-location entries, for Example: if any adjustment entry between one location to another location cannot be set off, we get a warning that if the location amount is not tallying then we cannot proceed with the next steps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Basware?

Basware is a simple and easy tool for processing invoices. The dashboard for each process is much more helpful to know how many invoices are under which que/status. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Basware?

We cannot get the report of the invoices processed on a particular day. If we have more short-cut keys that would be even easier to work. Sometimes system loaded invoices will take dates in the incorrect format. If the dates are appearing in "mmm-dd-yyyy" would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Basware solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are using Basware for the Accounts payable process i.e processing of vendor invoices. Matching invoices with PO and coding. And all the invoices review and approvals are done in Basware. Basware is integrated with other software like Intacct. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Basware?

I have been using Basware for almost 2 years for invoice processing. I has a different set of controls to avoid duplicate payments and three-way matching helps in the smooth flow of payment and business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Basware?

we cannot edit the date or currency once the invoice is processed. If one from the higher level (approver) has the access to edit it would be helpful rather than reversing and reentering the whole invoice and sending it for approval again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
