Basebuilders does an excellent job of helping keep them organized, their fees for all the phases, the percentage of their billing and the overall profitability of the projects as it relates to their participation in the project and their costs. **What do you dislike about BaseBuilders?** Any aspect of the software that I feel doesn't meet our needs, I'm able to reach out to the support staff, and they almost always respond quickly with either making a fix or offering instruction on how to resolve my issue. **What problems is BaseBuilders solving and how is that benefiting you?** "How profitable is this project" is a common question that managers will ask. Basebuilders has an array of tools to help answer that questions. The Financials Tab for a project offers a quick summary of how the project is doing, and via the settings, has the ability to adjust such things as the Overhead Factor to help make management decisions. Praesto AE integrates timesheets, invoices, contracts, forecasting and proposals. It automates transfer of data to QuickBooks for financials, payroll and government remittances. We deploy Praesto AE to every desk. This is part of our work culture. It gives employees the information on how a project will be financially successful which they act on, and which makes us more successful. Every-desk deployment is affordable with Praesto AE. We have yet to find an employee who cant figure out how to use it. The Praesto AE team give us good service. They manage the server, doing upgrades and remote maintenance. There is a real, knowledgeable person at the other end of the line when we call. **What do you dislike about BaseBuilders?** I would like a few different features. I'd like a timer feature i the timesheets. I'd like a Gantt chart mapping our contracts, and I understand this is in development as many uses have asked for it. **What problems is BaseBuilders solving and how is that benefiting you?** From the employee side: We deploy Praesto to every desk. It is used daily by each employee. They can see if their job is on track, and discuss it with teammates. This improves our profitability. From the book-keeper side: Time is automatically assigned to each job. We print reports to understand trends and where time is being spent and compare with invoicing for review by project managers. The data is correctly transferred to QuickBooks, which is a program which is well known in the Book-keeper community. ### 13. Also, there no place to add comments for expenses. So, we had to carry a separate excel spreadsheet to keep track of our invoices. - It can't filter projects based on location. It seems like it's an easy filter to add. - During invoicing, we can't overide expenses charges and mark-up. - Monthly fee instead of Annual fee. **What problems is BaseBuilders solving and how is that benefiting you?** One software that keep track for the prorjects, client info, invoicing and expenses (to some degree). ### 16. I should be able to print a document from each project's dashboard, but I have to navigate to the Docs page in order to complete that task. Switching windows and saving information is slow and makes for a very clunky experience, stopping and starting too much during the workflow. **What problems is BaseBuilders solving and how is that benefiting you?** I don't have anything positive to put here.
