AWS DMS is used when we want to get all our data from one data base to other when we want to migrate this AWS service is used.

The best thing I like is if I want to do manually , then I need to copy all the tables , all the statements from old data base to new , which can take long time but through DMS I need to mention source and destination database and replication instance copies data from old to new . I dont need to struggle much.

It even takes care of schema conversion as well , which means if source is relational and destination is non relational , DMS takes care of it.

I recently faced one issue where it failed to parse the JSON object because that JSON has multiple line breaks. So while reading the JSON, it was giving null as output.
