What do you like best?

Attendease is an incredibly versatile platform for creating a beautiful, function-rich, event website and online hub for any event. We used Attendease at extremely short notice (6 weeks before the event during the Covid19 lockdown) to service our large annual 3-day educational conference event.

Attendease has an extremely easy to use back end, covering everything from registration and booking, through scheduling, speakers and marketing & comms.

The session scheduling and speakers sections work extremely well and help produce and very slick looking front end, creating a great user experience.

The way that Attendease handles online streaming, using all the best functionality from Youtube, Zoom and Vimeo was the supreme highlight. It handles these extremely securely but also simply for the end-user, with no tricky links to remember, it all appears on screen in real-time. As this was built into the event website, this created a genuine feeling of 'being at' a high-quality event, even though it was built as a virtual hub.

There is lots more to say but I'll finish on the fact that our participants loved this as much as we did. Our feedback on both the quality of the event AND the technical delivery has never been better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Nothing really. It delivered exactly what we were looking for and more.

Attendease has enabled us to see a new possibility for online events. Given the Covid19 restrictions and changes going forward, we see much more possibility and a greater reach. What do you like best?

The calendar feature is by far the most valuable feature for our university. Having all of our events listed in one place where people also have the ability to login and rsvp is a game-changer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I wish Attendease was more intuitive. I am pretty savvy with technology, but I don't find all the areas of setting up events to be logical. For example, every time I set up an event I have to change the timezone from pacific to central, why can't that be set up in my settings so I don't have to remember to do that for every event? Another example would be the ability to have virtual events through Attendease, a great option, but setting it up is not intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Attendease has made managing our internal events so much easier! We recently utilized Attendease for a 500-person event. The customizable registration form was extremely helpful in gathering pre-event information and the integration with Boomset made our event check-in and badging process nearly seamless. The option to create a survey also allowed us to gather meaningful post-event feedback to shape our future programs. What do you dislike?

The backend of Attendease can seem a little daunting at first - luckily, their customer success team provides extensive training and support upfront and throughout. Some things about the interface aren't exactly intuitive and there are minor inconveniences, but nothing that can't be navigated. In the several months that we've been using Attendease, they have released numerous updates that have improved the platform tremendously, so I have no doubt some of the small issues will be resolved in due time. What do you like best?

It is the ease of use with the Attendease platform and the ability to scale to various size and types of programs that I like best. In addition the customer support is top notch. What do you like best?

I love the flexibility within the application. It handles small events all the way to large and complex events. For our company that is key for an enterprise level solution. The biggest win is the time savings - gone are the days of managing events with excel and email. Our event managers are putting their time into enhancing events rather than searching through email. Across our enterprise, event planners were having to jump through hoops to deal with all the regulations and constraints when registering attendees for an event. The application saves them huge amounts of time by implementing event tools to manage the registration flow. It also gives them a very professional website to complement their event. The win here is that they don't have to hire an agency to design/built a site for them. With a handful of assets they can spin up a site and publish it on their own in a day. What do you like best?

Attendease is so easy to use as an event team, but more importantly, it’s easy for participants to register. It comes with a plethora of features like event website, mobile app, the registration system or the scheduling system — the ability to customise each event only to use the features that you require.

What do you like best?

We run an annual event that has a lot of moving pieces - from speakers to sponsors to living arrangements, and scheduling. It seems like every feature on Attendease was developed based on deep and extensive industry knowledge on the part of the Attendease team. The product functions great and suits our needs on just about every level. I cannot believe we had been doing things manually (through Google Forms, MailChimp, etc) for all of these years. There are some minor missing features that would be "nice to haves" but not "need" to haves. I am also very impressed with their support and onboarding staff who have gone above and beyond for us. What do you like best?

For our program, the best part of Attendease was the Boomset integration. It made the check-in process of over 500 people so simple and effective.

We also relied on the web interface for communicating with our employees and posting the schedule of our 4 day event. The Attendease team created an awesome template, and it was pretty simple to make updates on our end.

We utilized the registration data for many aspects of our event. Everything we needed was there, but it was a bit 'messy' to sort through to get what we needed.

To address your comment about the platform being new - the core engine was derived from over 15 years of deep experience building event and web technology for large enterprises. Many of the most popular features today are relatively new - in the last 3 years - but built by a team with very deep event technology experience. What do you like best?

I use Attendease several times a week. I like how easy it can be to move text blocks around, add links, toggle between nav panels, and the preview page feature. The support has also been relatively quick to respond and find/create new solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Attendease is an event platform that seems to be built by people who have never thought about planning an event. The Agenda feature is particularly bad--it doesn't let you see what companies speakers work at and it has this odd mouse hover feature.

It's only been recently that Attendease added a video content feature that allows customers to see speaker videos. That was a big issue for my company. There's also some wonky text editor problems where your content will just appear differently in size without any explanation and you have to dive deep into the settings to try to fix it. You should also be able to just c+p a text box but this is impossible in attendease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We appreciate your comments and would be happy to talk to you about your concerns. It sounds like some of this may come down to knowing the product so perhaps a training refresh on the platform would help. For example, you can absolutely show what company a particular speaker is with. Our current agenda functionality provides all of the detailed information in the form of a pop up module when clicked. With regards to text editing, we have a WYSIWYG editor that allows for customizing text on any website.
