We're able to bring our brand onto the platform as needed. Our network has gotten accustomed to attending our events on the platform and no longer needs hand holding. The consistency is appreciated. Trouble shooting with the Attendease team is available, quick and helpful. **What do you dislike about EventUp Planner (formerly Attendease)?** Attendease, if not used to its full potential, can just be a portal into a Zoom room. In this instance, it can feel expensive for the service it is providing. In addition, you need someone on your staff or team to get used to the platform; onboarding to the backend is complicated. **What problems is EventUp Planner (formerly Attendease) solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is our one-stop shop for conference (gathering) hosting. The problem arose from moving all our events and programming onto the virtual space when everything shut down a few years ago due to covid. Attendease is one of the most user-friendly for building event sites. Due to complexity, only one or two of the staff knew how to use the past platforms. With Attendease, it's simple enough that any staff person can stand up an event page and add to or edit the event details, registration, schedules, etc. Moving the event between in-person, hybrid, or virtual is also simple as the needs change. Also, our attendees seem to like it. We've used some platforms where even registering for an event was difficult. It's the opposite with Attendease. Our attendees can quickly register and get access to the content and information they need easily and right away. For us, we pay one annual fee, and we get to run an unlimited number of events from Attendease. Whether it's a small event of 20 people or a large conference of 1000, we can host them all from one central platform. Their support team is also very responsive and helpful. **What do you dislike about EventUp Planner (formerly Attendease)?** Attendease isn't as full-featured as other platforms, especially regarding in-person/hybrid events. For example, there's no on-site walk-up or on-demand badge printing at the event. Instead, we must print and organize all the badges before the event. That's a lot of bulk that we have to ship. Further, there's no "one-click" feature to do batch badge printing from Attendease. We have to export the attendee list, mail-merge them into a Word or Publisher template, proof everything, and then print. If you have complex ticking procedures/rules, that can also be a pain point, though simple ticketing should be no problem. It would also be nice if the system could generate unique, one-time use discount codes. With Attendease, we have to manage many discount codes to ensure they aren't being shared and used outside their intended use. Many other more mature platforms have these and other standard features built in. It would be nice to see these in Attendease. **What problems is EventUp Planner (formerly Attendease) solving and how is that benefiting you?** We initially partnered with Attendease during the pandemic. It was a cost-effective platform that allowed us to quickly shift gears from our traditional in-person events to completely virtual events. But as we moved on from the pandemic, Attendease allowed us to use the same platform and transition to hybrid events. And now that we've returned to entirely in-person events, the platform is still with us. It's very flexible and adaptable, precisely how organizations today need to be. Attendease is good for both online events as well as in-person events. Uploading registrants from a CSV file is a very easy process as well. Setting up a payment option is very easy as well. Finally, their customer support is very good. They are good at receiving feedback and suggestions for improvements, and the functionality of building out the landing pages for events has increased tremendously. **What do you dislike about EventUp Planner (formerly Attendease)?** The email confirmations are limited. Small improvements have been made to this but could be much better. There needs to be more flexibility and freedom to create stronger, more visually appealing email campaigns (confirmations, reminders, invites). I am pretty savvy with technology, but I don't find all the areas of setting up events to be logical. For example, I can't delete events if I make a mistake in creating the event or it's canceled. I also wish there was an automatic calendar event that was able to be added to Outlook. I would also like the reporting functionality to be more effecient. Support team is responsive and engaged. The platform is built for events, events management, and ticket sales/presales. The platform excels when you have a template, and has a lot of great event management tools for events of varying sizes and length (a few hours to multi-day). **What do you dislike about EventUp Planner (formerly Attendease)?** A lot of our events and presales we do have the same pricing structure. That information we can't duplicate from event to event. We have to manually add each time. I do know the Attendease team has certain features in development and are rolling out updates consistently to address those challenges we and other organizations have. **What problems is EventUp Planner (formerly Attendease) solving and how is that benefiting you?** Events, events management/planning, marketing, and most of all -- ticket sales (including presales). The speaker module and session creator are easy to use and create effective session pages. The registration process itself is straightforward for users. The page builder is reasonably well-featured. **What do you dislike about EventUp Planner (formerly Attendease)?** Simple features, like duplicating sessions and email blasts, are not available. Many processes are not intuitive, such as creating a new time slot and attaching a new session or sessions. Email templates are extremely limited. Creating multiple sessions on the same date/time is not intuitive. We used Attendease at extremely short notice (6 weeks before the event during the Covid19 lockdown) to service our large annual 3-day educational conference event. Attendease has an extremely easy to use back end, covering everything from registration and booking, through scheduling, speakers and marketing & comms. The session scheduling and speakers sections work extremely well and help produce and very slick looking front end, creating a great user experience. The way that Attendease handles online streaming, using all the best functionality from Youtube, Zoom and Vimeo was the supreme highlight. It handles these extremely securely but also simply for the end-user, with no tricky links to remember, it all appears on screen in real-time. As this was built into the event website, this created a genuine feeling of 'being at' a high-quality event, even though it was built as a virtual hub. There is lots more to say but I'll finish on the fact that our participants loved this as much as we did. Our feedback on both the quality of the event AND the technical delivery has never been better. **What do you dislike about EventUp Planner (formerly Attendease)?** Nothing really. It delivered exactly what we were looking for and more. Even when we ran into issues their Customer support team was quick to reply and resolve it all. **What problems is EventUp Planner (formerly Attendease) solving and how is that benefiting you?** Attendease has enabled us to see a new possibility for online events. Given the Covid19 restrictions and changes going forward, we see much more possibility and a greater reach. Everything we needed was there, but it was a bit 'messy' to sort through to get what we needed. I like how easy it can be to move text blocks around, add links, toggle between nav panels, and the preview page feature. The support has also been relatively quick to respond and find/create new solutions. **What do you dislike about EventUp Planner (formerly Attendease)?** Attendease is an event platform that seems to be built by people who have never thought about planning an event. The Agenda feature is particularly bad--it doesn't let you see what companies speakers work at and it has this odd mouse hover feature. It's only been recently that Attendease added a video content feature that allows customers to see speaker videos. That was a big issue for my company. There's also some wonky text editor problems where your content will just appear differently in size without any explanation and you have to dive deep into the settings to try to fix it.
