I like that Mitratech AssureHire integrates with our ATS, Greenhouse. It makes moving candidates into background checks a smooth transition, and I can manage most of it directly from the ATS without having to keep logging in separately. I especially love getting updates on the progress of background checks. The results are clear and easy to read, and the initial setup was pretty seamless, very quick and easy. I really like the integration between Mitratech AssureHire and our Paycor systems. It makes sending background checks easy because we're not required to log in each time to a separate platform. Once an offer letter is signed, we can send background checks directly through Paycor Recruit in each candidate's portal. It simplifies the process and makes it seamless. The pricing is also quite reasonable, and the relationships I've built with our assigned reps have been beneficial. The contact support team is responsive when we need help. I have some issues with the verification process for employment and education checks as part of our background check packages. For leadership positions, there tends to be delays in documents being submitted and cleared. It appears Mitratech AssureHire often has to follow up with our hires repeatedly to retrieve education and employment documents. This seems to slow down the process and might feel less detailed or thorough from a candidate's perspective, possibly because Mitratech AssureHire's notifications aren't clear on what needs to be completed to submit documents correctly. I like that it integrates with our HR system, Paycor, so we can link the background check directly to a new hire’s onboarding packet. That connection makes the onboarding process feel much more seamless for both new hires and HR. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The main thing that comes to mind is that the background check packages have to be set up during implementation. Sometimes it does not run license numbers properly. There are several times I have had to run license numbers on my own, outside of AssureHire. This defeats the purpose of us paying for the service, so it can be frustrating. Also, there have been times when a company has closed down and they are unreachable for employment verifications, so the process stops instead of them contacting the candidate and investigating. My favorite features of MT AssureHire are the I-9 export functionality, automated email notifications, and the ability to view SSNs and dates of birth for efficient employee record creation. Honestly, there is very little I would change about the product. It has been a valuable tool for our team, and the features we rely on work well. Currently, I dislike the length of time it takes to complete a background check for candidates. When candidates upload documents, while an order is in process, I am also unable to view them, in case I wanted to get ahead in my processes. The support from their agents is also "clunky" in that you can't just call and speak to someone about an adjustment or note.
