automated schedule management process that enables employees to request time off, overtime, NPT etc and a scheduling and forecasting module that is super awesome

**What do you dislike about Aspect Workforce?**

soemtimes configuring certain module takes a lot of time and gets complex but sensitive tool like Aspect is expected to have such configuration.

**What problems is Aspect Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

its solves my biggest problem ie now employees use automated schedule management feature of aspect to requets for time off, overtime and non productive time. also the scheuling module helps my schedulers to plan for quarterlly rollovers and forecasting module helps me to generate short term forecast for my programs.

**What do you like best about Aspect Workforce?**

Alvaria workforce is extremely easy to use. The way that it is organized it allows for easy configuration of the system.  I've used other systems that are not as easy to maneuver between each module.

**What do you dislike about Aspect Workforce?**

The thing that I'm not a fan of is that it is not customizable. What you get out of the box is what needs to be used. Every company has it's own obstacles that can't be fixed with an out-of-the-box product.  It would be nice to be able to make a few changes that would help our company move forward.

**What problems is Aspect Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alvaria is solving the ability to determine our staffing levels for each of the departments that we support.  This allows us to be more productive in planning our staffing needs.

The most useful was the Intradaytimeline, same can be given when creating trial schedules so that adjusting breaks in base schedules will be easy, other than this its fine

Alvaria Workforce is a multifaceted tool that allows users to manage the forecasting and scheduling of resources using a robust set of tools that span past, future and real-time data.

**What do you dislike about Aspect Workforce?**

I have no true dislikes. The Alvaria Workforce product team does a good job of listening and understanding parts of the tool that need to be updated to allow for better customer use and acts on those requests.

**Recommendations to others considering Aspect Workforce:**

When considering Alvaria with other workforce systems, ensure you compare each and every ability of Alvaria to the other systems. In many cases, you will find that most other workforce platforms do not allow for the robust what-if and scheduling abilities that Alvaria presents.

**What problems is Aspect Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alvaria allows for the forecasting of resource needs across many contact center channels and to schedule employees to those forecasted needs in the most economical fashion possible.

Outside the product offering, I can't say enough positive about their support structure for pre-launch, launch and post-launch.  Truly one of the best experiences I have had with a company in my 30-year career.

There is nothing I have encountered to date that I haven't been happy with.

**What problems is Aspect Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a true flex scheduling environment.  Alvaria WFM has allowed successful options for flex scheduling that we haven't found with other solutions.  In addition, their RTA (Real TIme Adherence) and reporting suite are top-notch.

Options for on prem remain and the platform has many options to fit what your business may need.   A one sized fits all approach isn't taken and their team can walk you through what you need.

**What do you dislike about Aspect Workforce?**

Entry level technical support teams are offshore and at times can be slow on the uptake of the scope of the issue or require large research periods to identify issues.  Previous support teams located in Brentwood apppeared to be much more knowledgable of the platform.

Alvaria WFM provides a platform from our Associates to our Forecasters to interact and provide our business guildance that would otherwise be too intensive to complete in legacy tools such as Excel.

Reports are relatively easy to setup as well set shortcuts for repeated use. Good assortment of export formats to fit different data requirements.

**What do you dislike about Aspect Workforce?**

The interface is not the best to navigate. I've had to keep the help guide open on regular basis to find where to go. not a fan of all the windows popping up.  Other WFM Softwates have a leg up on the GUI. Also because we are multi skilled we have not been successful  in setting up forecasting.

**What problems is Aspect Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling and reporting are the primary things we use. The reporting assists us with forecasting which unfortunately is not done thru this WFM.

**What do you like best about Aspect Workforce?**

The user interface is easy to navigate. You can quickly pick up the navigation element and find what you need without much prior knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Aspect Workforce?**

The software can't be altered to suit personal preferences. For example, "Save As" for exporting reports always defaults to a format I never use instead of CSV with column headers - which I always use. Having to repeatedly change fields from the default setting is unnecessarily time consuming.

**What problems is Aspect Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're looking to our contact centre efficiencies and how we can exploit them through technology. Alvaria has helped report on shrinkages and forecasts so we can support the operation and wider business.

Miss the seamless windows but quickly get used to RDP and the platform works well.

The application allows to make mass scheduling updates and optimize all meetings/breaks. We are able to use Alvaria to pull all critical reporting data and use this data to ensure we are properly staffed.

The application is a bit aesthetically outdated and can sometimes be difficult to navigate. Creating restrictions surrounding request rules and work codes can be difficult at times.

Alvaria Workforce allows us to assign all employees to a variety of specific groups so that we can easily pull hours/data by location, skill, status, etc. This gives us complete control over our data and keeps us organized.

The basic configuration allows for highly customized deployments and is scalable to a large enterprise.  Reporting and access to data are critical for our use and very robust.

**What do you dislike about Aspect Workforce?**

The forecasting algorithm is dated, and additional flexibility in business rule design for WFO would be nice.  The flexible scheduling options could use some more development, and the trades functionality needs to be improved.

Schedule management, staffing lines, employee management, time off and trades administration, real-time adherence. Access to data through an ODBC connection allows us to integrate with a wide variety of platforms.

I am not sure if it's available, but a Help Desk portal would be helpful for one-off questions that may not be able to be answered via the Help section.

Alvaria Workforce is a very robust database for our workforce management needs.  We can emulate routing and staffing workflows to ensure proper staffing requirements.  I like that Alvaria Education service is more readily available due to subscription pricing being more affordable.   My whole WFM team can now take advantage of these services.

Best module to get quick daily info is the Employee Datacenter!

**What do you dislike about Aspect Workforce?**

Very difficult to get a live person when calling the Alvaria Tech services for Workforce Management platform. I often am routed to someone within Tech not supporting the Workforce platform who will take my info to send to someone else for review.

**What problems is Aspect Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Optimizing schedules for over 700 Advisors which consist of a large percentage of Part-timers.

The biggest upsides of Alvaria are that it is fast and efficient. Alvaria is also very organized and I like that you can access multiple functions on Alavria at once.

I have not discovered any downsides to using Alvaria Workforce however, I would like if there was a shortcut when saving and closing information under the tracking tab.

Alvaria helps solve both small and large-scale business problems. Using Alvaria makes things fast and efficient, increasing the performance levels of employees associated with this product.

The platform provides an easy way to forecast, optimize, and schedule your workforce based off a large number of factors, it has pretty decent integration with a large number of ACD's and other applications. Support is generally fast when you need it.

**What do you dislike about Aspect Workforce?**

Interface can be complicated and a bear to setup/ configure. You'll most likely need a full time resource just to keep up with the permissions. Updating is annoying as well and there always seems to be a new version coming out 2 weeks after you upgrade...  (This is not the case with the cloud offering)

**What problems is Aspect Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aspect helps us optimize our workforce with agent coaching on adherence, IDP based scheduling, forecasting all in one place

Moving over to Alvaria from a different workforce, my company was very nervous as was I.  The platform is hands down 100% easier than the previous one we used.  Great feedback from associates using it as well!

The shift trade process has been a headache for many people as they have to wait for the person giving the shift up to accept it and timing is an issue here.

The newest cloud version of the program has considerably improved overall system performance and response times over the previously on premises warehoused servers that fueled our prior installation.

**What do you dislike about Aspect Workforce?**

The multiskill capabilities of the system, while functional, are not as good at predictive capability when compared to some of the competitors in the space.  This is the space for which I would like to see greater effort applied to bring parity to this product vs. the likes of their competition.

Alvaria helps us to both manage our workforce effectively via forecasting, scheduling, and shrinkage management (including vacation administration) helping to reduce overall time to complete tasks on a day to day basis.

The people I have worked with at Alvaria are always friendly and responsive, I have worked through several large scale product rollouts with large scale customization requests which have always been discussed honestly with advice and guidance offered throughout end to end implementation.

In an ideal world I would like an easier interface to automate data extracts which could be rolled out to less technical staff members to allow for an increase in self service MI reporting

Reduced costing due to less on premise hardware requirements, also the scalability and ease of version upgrades alongside the added bonus of a good support model throughout the product lifecycle

My understanding is that the scheduling analysts have an easy time learning how to use due to simple interface yet powerful tools.

**What do you dislike about Aspect Workforce?**

The forecasting component while it should work for most companies is difficult when toggling a complex inbound environment in where there are single and that may or may not include outbound blended intervals.

**What problems is Aspect Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Alvaria to schedule resources both manually and through the automatic feature, depending on the size of the department. The forecasting team (Which I manage the Collections side)  can create a simple text file for the schedulers to utilize and import to Alvaria for scheduling purposes.

Reorginazation has changed our contacts, and we are still learning about the new roles of Customer Success Manager. It would be nice if we were provided with updated support details and contacts.

We are able to manage a Workforce of over 2500+ employees using the software, from scheduling and call volume, to time off requests.

I like how the advocate can self-serve! I also like how the system is set up

I do not like how you have to update multiple places in order to change one thing. It can be confusing at times why things do not work.

The Employee Datacenter is a great feature. It allows you to make changes to a whole Team or specific Reps on a Team.

The Scheduling module is a little difficult to manuever. I wish there were ways to manipulate the way schedules are produced.

Scheduling meetings in Alvaria Workforce is a timesaver. It use to be a manual process for us.

Great products and really good training. I like that they really care about feedback. They take the actionable feedback and use that to improve their products.

Can be complex but thats okay because they provide you with the training needed to overcome the complexity of the products. The ease of use is great and thats a small thing to overcome.

The options and automation that Alvaria is producing and working on is what makes it so great. They continue to look at how to automate things and thats perfect for our use.

Best reporting and very user-friendly. Easy to extract all the data needed to manage the WFM. IDP views are easy and adjustable to the business need. Tracking is also very user friendly.

It's super easy to use. I am not very tech savvy so having a system that is user friendly is a must!

It takes a while to learn how to use it. It is highly recommend that the customer purchases the subscription training support.

I like the multifunctioning call monitoring capabilities. The ability to monitor by video and audio really eliminates miscommunication when coaching someone on specifics.

**What do you dislike about Aspect Workforce?**

I don't like how easy sometimes it can be to be kicked out of the system. There have been a few times I was speaking with a customer and lose the entire call. It should be harder if on an active call to not be disconnected.

**Recommendations to others considering Aspect Workforce:**

It's easy to catch on. The best way to find a routine you are comfortable with would hands on with this system.

**What problems is Aspect Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Call handling, work out all of the inconsistencies of dispositioning correctly. A perfect warning sign pointing out call avoidance and excessive wrap or idle time. This creating a better customer experience when all the focus is on them from the moment the call starts

They alert us of any updates to make adjustments, and they follow up on tickets, keeping you in the loop.
The interface is easy to follow and understand. I also love live listening and the opportunity to coach and assist agents live on calls

At times, the length of how tickets ake to resolve. I have seen improvements in turnaround time, which is a plus!

Come with an open mind! They are actively working to improve their services, and I have seen improvements myself! The system is very user-friendly, and when issues arise, they work quickly to resolve and follow up throughout and even after the case is handled. I enjoy working with the support team.

Also, the perks of Aspect are beneficial with your agents' coaching and development.

It's easy to keep things in place for management, and tracking and reporting make our jobs easier.
The coachings are very helpful to track progress and keep discussions all in one place

Creating and managing outbound campaigns becomes piece of cake with Aspect. Managing real time like penetration rate and dial type (predictive/preview) is very easy to switch to.

**What do you dislike about Aspect Workforce?**

Although RTA monitoring is very sturdy for Outboung campaigns but I think for Inbound, some features which are very readily available in Avaya CMS and Nice. Additionally, call recording/monitoring is very handy addon but I think it needs some improvement

Outbound dialler, Inbound campaigns, RTA and call monitoring. Overall, it has all the aspects available. One tool for entire workforce management.

Sometimes it lags .
Sometimes due to incorrect password input, it blocks the user to access the website again.

I have used many different versions of this software, from v4.4 & up to v20.
Each upgrade has brought something new & beneficial.
Most recently I would say that the Employee Datacentre has been the best addition.
I would recommend taking the time to learn all the functionalities & then decide what you need to run your business & then come an expert in them.

**What do you dislike about Aspect Workforce?**

Over the years I have started to understand the language of Aspect, to the point I'd like to add it on my CV as an additional language skill.
Once you get your head into that space, things start to make sense.
The forecasting functionality could be improved, as I believe a lot of customers will create these externally & then upload them.

**Recommendations to others considering Aspect Workforce:**

Speak to existing users, they are better than the sales reps & should supply you with an honest review.
Once you go Aspect, you wont want to go anywhere else.  Those who did, often go back.

**What problems is Aspect Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have transitioned holiday & overtime booking into WFO.  This removed the reliance of a separate solution.  The previous "interface" was a manual data extraction & rekeying which was prone to error & delay.
Having all the planning processes in the same application has delivered straight through processing & immediate updating.
With the current "working from home" situation, Advisors are also able to see their shifts/breaks remotely.  Previously they were reliant on printed out timsheets.

Sometime interactions are difficult, for example you cannot see real time changes in SL with changing attributes every time you need to run the report with modified assumptions.
