Some of the platform components seemed to be double-ups for our event - such as having sessions and then talks within those. It was an easy thing to adjust but something that would have confused our delegates if both had been set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very solutions-focused and responsive team. The platform is very customisable and the team has a lot of experience to provide creative solutions based on other events they've worked on and their deep knowledge of the platform. We never waited long for a member of the team (more than one person working on our event), which was impressive given the recent pressures felt by most organisations at the moment. We didn't have to control any of the technical production on that day and were in very safe hands with their staff. Not all features are fully customisable, for example, we wanted to limit the number of people in networking rooms to a smaller number than Delegate Connect's set capacity. This wasn't possible but the team suggested some other solutions for us to make it work. I would have liked more explanation upfront about some of the work we needed to do in preparation for the event. We were pointed to many online resources/ knowledge articles but having these pieces of work explained by the team members in the first instance would have been better. We have used DC for 2 years now and are extremely impressed and happy with their services. They have made our transition to virtual conferences easy. As with any technology platform, there is room for improvement but DC listens to our needs and is continually improving areas of their platform. Online networking and sponsor interaction is still the biggest challenge for us. DC has functions for this, its just getting the delegates to engage more! I use Delegate Connect for both conferences and webinars - they are fantastic for both! The platforms are so user friendly and also organiser friendly! The team at DC go out of their way to provide excellent customer service and to find solutions that will help your clients. The platform allowed us to fully integrate all aspects of our live event into a virtual experience. From setting up our agenda, to delegate networking, to sponsorship pages - they all translated well into a virtual space. We could also really personalise the platform to make sure our branding was still strong so delegates felt they were still part of the Festival they know and loved.
